Despite the Park Rangers' unwillingness to even let me use their phone, I managed to get a hold of Sadistik Cycles and they actually brought a new battery and an empty trailer just in case the battery was not the issue. Fortunately, the battery swapped worked and despite the fact that they had to drive almost 40 miles one-way, they did not gouge me. My insurance, despite me having a towing rider, wanted more than double to tow my bike for the same distance. Sadistik Cycles is owned and run by good folks!!

My Wife and I decided to get new motorcycles as we tour and vacation on our bikes and our old KLR650s are tired. We decided on the Suzuki Vstrom 650XT motorcycles. That model has been discontinued so we needed to act quickly! I was able to find two in the state (there may have been more?), one of them was here at South Sound Honda. I had cash (bank issued check) so the transaction was quick and painless. I'll bet we were there an hour at the most, minus the time we took loading my bike up in the trailer. They had the bike right by the front door with a battery tender hooked up to it with a full tank of what I think may have been ethanol free gasoline. 10/10 recommend this shop for your motorcycle needs! I pulled in, explained to Brad my predicament with no appointment, no heads up I was coming, and he understood the severity of the situation and decided then and there to try to get me back on the road as quickly as possible. Not only that, but my chain was so bad he couldn't just take a link or two out but he didn't have that chain (120) in stock so he called around and drove to another shop to pick it up for me knowing that time while on the road was critical. His tech, Adam, helped out and made sure that the chain was tight and I was ready to go. Great shop, great guys, and would highly recommend them to ANYONE in the area (in for that matter, anyone all the way from Maryland)

The round trip pickup distance was about 80 miles, and they were awesome with the price for that particular pickup, just $45, great huh? Plus they're fast and efficient with the work. I'm having a complete camchest, top end, port and polished heads and a Dyno tune, or possibly a dynojet pb-1b tuner put on.
