Here's why: 1) Space: The outside if unassuming, but once you go inside, you see each floor is one big open space. The building has several floors with fast elevators that take you between the floors. True to a NYC building, there's an amazing rooftop at the top making for a great cocktail reception space. 2) Food: Every meal was amazing starting with a feast of sliders. There were beef, crab, tofu, any type of slider for every diet and preference. Snacks were changed throughout the event from a pretzel wall to a donut wall. Better for you options included veggies and a pickle jar. The rooftop reception had bite sized appetizers from small hamburgers in a fancy black box to kebabs. Everything was so good! They also provided quality coffee throughout and Coca-Cola products. 3) Service: The staff clearly take their jobs seriously. They are hard working, not intrusive, and run the event so well. 4) Location: It's just south of Hell's Kitchen close to the Hudson River. Easy to walk to and/or take the subway. 5) Vibes: It's an industrial design with lots of open pipes, etc. It's very Instagram worthy! If you want to wow your guests at an event, book Hudson Mercantile.

Props also due to the amazing catering crew this year (2022.) From the absolute doll of a barista, to the attentive gentlemen at the catering counter, they couldn't have taken better care of us and our visiting customers. The space itself is bright, setup is easy, even on the 6th floor, and the building is in a great location for those weary of the Javits hustle. Can't wait to go back next year!

Carlann went above and beyond to make sure I, my family, and my bridal party were well taken care of; she even investigated what had happened to a family member's flight when we hadn't heard from them. We also met with Jen who has a wonderful personality coupled with high expertise. Briana and Ozzie from Lorenzo's were so kind and patient during our rehearsal dinner that ran late. Michael, our maitre'd made sure our reception ran like clockwork. Jackie was the MOST amazing bridal attendant; anything I needed she anticipated and had ready quickly. I definitely recommend holding an event at Nicotra's ballroom or Above! The package is competitively priced and you will certainly have an amazing experience.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Lorenzo's, our cocktail hour in the Trevi Garden, and reception in the Persimmon Room. We had attended a wedding at Nictora's a few years before planning ours, and we were so impressed that it made our venue search very easy. I'm happy to say that the team consistently delivers on great food, service, and atmosphere. Our guests are still talking about the food being some of the best they've had at a wedding, also complimenting the uniqueness of the venue. Jennifer Finch, our planner, kept everything organized and running smoothly - she was extremely willing to work with us on little details, provided helpful and insightful answers to questions, and kept us feeling calm on the day of the wedding. While Nicotra's provides the full package, there was enough customization available that things really felt ours. She's a natural. Our bridal attendant, another Jennifer, also went above and beyond - she was friendly, helpful, professional, and made sure we were FED and comfortable at all times. Our Maitre'd Matt was also amazing! Took time to ensure everything was to our liking, was very helpful and kind to guests, and was overall adaptable. The entire FOH staff was excellent, honestly - they made our celebration so much more special. To cap it all off, the Nicotras themselves stopped by to say hello to us and check in on guests - what a personal touch! Something that you often miss out on with a ballroom wedding are beautiful grounds - not the case here. We had many tons of options for beautiful couples portraits moments, and the floor to ceiling windows provided another great bit of atmosphere during the reception. We closed our reception with the Viennese Hour - if it's in your budget, do NOT skip this. It was an absolutely incredible and massive display that blew guests away. And having an extra hour to party is awesome! I cannot compliment this venue enough!

Once upon a time a metal factory.... now it is presently a lovely venue that hosts various private events. Yes, one can book 26 Bridge for their wedding, parties, anniversaries and all types of other celebratory functions. We came here on 2/2/19 to attend La Tablee NY Tasting (thanks for the tickets!). As we pulled up in front of the place we were kindly greeted by a gentleman at the front door. The La Tablee NY Tasting is a celebration of over 100 wines of the Rhone Valley (Northen + Southern France) . The La Tablee NY Tasting was already in full swing as we checked in, placed our outerwear at the coat check and were each given a wine glass and wine tasting booklet. Before proceeding towards any wine/food tables, we glanced at the map indicating where each wine/food table was located. We went to each table, sampled things and marked it off in our booklet. There was space to write notes pertaining to specific wines that we liked. Because I enjoy the flavor of white wine and since there was fewer of those, I can safely say that every single white wine I had was my favorite-lol. Along with the wine tasting, there were delightful tasty treats to sample from restaurants/eateries including Atrium, Andante Dairy, Bar Boulud, Celestine and Frankies Spuntino. The Charcuterie platters (fresh cheeses, breads, crackers, fruit and meats) were so good. We tried Toscanna Aqua Penna for the first time (yes, I am very late-lol) and this bottled water is smooth + refreshing. Shout out to Columbe staffperson Ellie as she made the best Latte.... Bridge 26 boats wooden floors and high ceilings in which the natural sunlight radiates through the venue. There are bathrooms on the upper and lower levels and the downstairs bathroom has a connecting "powder room" so that brides, birthday boys/girls and eveyone in between can freshen up and get ready for their festivities. 375 people can be in the venue for standing events and a bit over 200 can fit there during seated events. The Bridge 26 website has a section in which you can send them an email to make general inquiries on booking this space. The La Tablee NY Tasting was fantastic and it was cool to attend it at 26 Bridge.

We planned our wedding from out of state, and this proved to be be a non issue for the staff as they easily set up phone call and zoom sessions with us and our coordinator. We felt the pricing and expectations for what was available and offered to us clear and well explained. This is an amazing space that is essentially a beautiful blank canvas, meaning you can do as much or as little as you wish here. Our day of coordinator helped us secure many vendors to fulfill all the duties of the space, almost all who had worked events here before and had nothing but good things to say. When the day of arrived, we were given free reign of the space and politely checked in with every few hours to see if we needed anything on their end. When the wedding kicked into full gear we had a small unexpected hiccup (outside their control), which they promptly worked to fix and followed up with us after the wedding. I really felt they did an amazing job with customer service and providing a clean, open space to make our dreams a reality. We brought in two food trucks, and two drop off catering to which the space lended well. The house bar staff was great and the whole day truly was a dream. TLDR; This is an amazing space, that really lets you fulfill all of your DIY dreams. It's beautiful enough on its own, but lends well to any additions you want to bring in. The house staff was great and we would definitely recommend to friends and family!
