I've recently attended a wedding at Addison Park, while it was nice I found some issues with it. First off there is no elevator in the building. We had a relative who could no do the steps to get to the ceremony on the top floor. Thankfully the father of the groom hired someone to carry her up and down the stair case. It's really needs an elevator. In addition the cocktail hour felt rushed and the food was just standard. During the reception the bartender was not attentive and didn't make it easy to order a drink. Everything I was asking he didn't have. There's not a large liquor selection. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Addison Park. read more

We were very happy with the entire process of the wedding from its inception in summer of 2022, when we met Anthony for the first time and to the actual day of the Wedding ceremony in July of 2023. Everything was impeccable. Attention from the staff, organizational process, the quality of food, even recommendations regarding vendors. Our children ordered cake from the vendor that was recommended by Antony and all guests were impressed by taste of the cake. Our guests were even provided with cold drinks during outdoor ceremony and that particular detail resonated quite well with all guests because the day of wedding was very hot and humid. One of our guests even commented that everything looked like a fairy tale and I think that comment speaks volume about the Addison Park. I've been here many times in the past however this is my first review and I felt like I needed to write it. The renovations done here and the decor are on point. I love all the black and white marble and contemporary decor The grandeur of the Cinderella staircase with the gorgeous metal railings make the entryway spectacular. With that being said, you expect the same level of attention to the menu. The food is just sub par. I had the chicken francaise and it was dry and bland, thick and rubbery. I was unimpressed. Attended my first wedding here yesterday. From the street, it's hard to figure out what this place is like because of all the landscaping. It's actually quite beautiful inside and the courtyard for outdoor wedding ceremonies is beautiful too. Has a nice, big lobby with two staircases and a balcony. The railings on the staircases are very detailed. The color scheme is black and white which really makes it feel like an elegant wedding hall. The first thing I noticed was how PERFECT the air conditioning was. It was as if they performed studies of how men feel in suits and knew exactly what the air quality needed to be like to make them feel comfortable. The place is quite large, there was at least one more wedding going on during the one I attended. But the best part was that I didn't even notice it. Both weddings never seemed to cross which is great. Inside the ballrooms, I felt like I was inside a wedding cake with the detailed designs. Reminded me of how wedding cake designers use frosting to create detailed, flowery designs. They also had beautiful chandeliers in several places - more for design than lighting. The place had very good natural lighting in the cocktail hour room. Main ballroom had nice, subtle uplighting. And everyone's favorite part - the food!!! It was delicious. Great shrimp, oysters casino, mashed potato bar, slider station and more. It was everything you'd expect and want at a modern wedding. The prime rib was incredible. Could have been cooked a little rarer but it was overall very tender and savory. Mouth is watering thinking about it because it's so fresh in mind. One of the best wedding steaks I've had. A friend of mine was getting married at addison park and recommended the B&W foyer as a nice place to take photos. I called to make an appointment to see the space and went after work on a Thursday. Oh my God were we greeted by a miserable man in the office who accused us of not having an appointment. I maintained that we did and he "magnanimously" agreed to meet with us for about 10 minutes. He was snide and rude and then told us we had to leave for the tour, which at that point was futile because there was no way I was getting married here. The place itself was ok, typical jersey place. Just had my wedding at Addison Park. 7/2/22. Let me start off by saying it was such a long time coming. We were originally 5/24/20, so due to Covid we had multiple postponements. Anthony & Irene were the easiest, most accommodating, and helpful people to deal with while going through a rollercoaster of shutdowns & restrictions. They knew I wanted to be able to have the proper wedding, with all our loved ones able to celebrate. They allowed us to postpone a year & change out, with no questions asked. I couldn't be more thankful to have worked with them over the years. Now, our wedding day. Oh my God. I cannot even believe how amazing everything truly was. The food.. THE FOOD.. everything I ate (I made sure I enjoyed my cocktail hour) was SPECTACULAR. I never had to go looking for anything, there was always an Abundance of food everywhere I looked, plus our bridal assistant which I'll get more into soon, even made us plates for us to sit down and enjoy! Now, I know everyone probably thinks, "oh she's the bride of course she's going to love her food".. no.. everyone I spoke to RAVED about the food. They couldn't get over the elaborate spread and the taste to go along with it. I am still getting messages from family & friends stating how spectacular of a wedding our wedding was and how they have never been to one like it. The hospitality! Wow, Sal & Kayla were absolutely amazing! Sal was my Maitre D' who constantly made sure me and my husband had a drink and kept making sure we were ok, such a wonderful man! Kayla was my bridal assistant. I cannot rave enough of how amazing she was! She helped me bustle my dress, took pictures of my dress that I wasn't happy about, was there for me when I was having a breakdown about my stupid dress, took behind the scenes pictures & videos of us, and just really made me feel like a true princess. She brought us the cocktail hour foods as you read - but she also brought us a huge spread of all the deserts from the Viennese table, because we were too busy dancing- A real sweetheart! The staff at Addison Park did an exceptional job manning the facility on the night of my cousin's wedding. The servers kept appetizers going, the food was outstanding and abundant, and the bartenders kept the drinks flowing all night. Gabriel was an awesome bartender, and so were all the others. The venue itself is very nice; large spaces everywhere with nice backdrop for pictures most everywhere you look. When I arrived on my wedding day I was greeted by my Bridal attendant Kim who was with me for the entire day to help with everything from putting on my dress to packing up my personal things. My entire family was devastated after their time here. An amazing and memorable moment was thrown away after each individual in my family was robbed. This isn't any robbery with phones or personal belongs. Thievery which involved police reports and law suits all because this place can't find a decent valet staff for their parking. Ridiculous. A Gorgeous venue, absolutely stunning. I came here for a wedding and it was truly the best I'd ever been to. The rooms were large, open, and elegant. Cocktail hour had a beautiful selection of hors d'oeuvres, meats, cheeses and crackers; With a selection of wine to chose from as well as the well staffed bar. The outside area was lovely for photos and videos, not to mention the bathroom was like a museum. Very clean, ornate and plenty of stalls for the guests. My good college friend got married here a few weeks back. It was my first time back to Addison Park since the new renovation and updates a few years back. I came here for a Sweet 16 type party during high school (ageeeeeees ago) and I must say that the new Addison Park is a pleasant upgrade (keep in mind that I haven't been here for years, so this is all "new" for me). It is a beautiful venue and the perfect place to celebrate that special day. My friend who was my +1 for the wedding was actually there just the week before and he really enjoyed both parties at Addison Park! Some of the bartenders even recognized him, so thank goodness he wore a different outfit. The wedding ceremony took place outdoors and it was intimate and elegant. However, we moved inside for the rest of the celebration. The cocktail hour had delicious food, as did the reception. The bartenders made great drinks and were a lot of fun to chat to. There are lots of places where you can take beautiful photos over the course of the evening. Overall, my friend's wedding was everything that her and her husband wanted it to be. Brilliant! I've been a hairstylist for some 30 plus years and have put many brides and their maids together for the big day. I've also attended most of these weddings as their guest as well... This was the case this past Sunday when the daughter of my closest friends was married. I've known this bride since her birth and it was no surprise that I'd be doing her wedding! I was floored upon entering Addison Park, having been there during its past incarnations as the Fountain Casino & The Garden Manor, WOW - Elegance from top to bottom and side to side! The bridal suite was spacious and comfortable, with a staff that was quite attentive to everyones needs! The spread of food and Champagne they had for the bridal party was quite nice and a good time was had by all. Cocktail hour was abundant and lovely with every imaginable food station, I however only had the Shrimp Cocktail and the Mussels because they we so wonderful and I love them. I think I had 4 trips to that station..... mmm... For dinner we had a choice of Chicken, Steak or Salmon. I chose the steak and I must say it was the best steak I've ever had, even better then a steak from Peter Lugar's!!!! The potatoes and vegetables were cooked to perfection!! When the desserts arrived along with the cake it was hard to make a choice so I didn't, I ate everything and it was delish! The only criticisms I have were far outweighed by the all the wonderful things that I'd recommend at Addison Park but here they are: The bathrooms although clean and functional were leftover from the Garden Manor days and it was startling to walk into that tacky color scheme! The ballroom had no acoustic buffer so once the band started to play, it was like being blasted to the moon. The band was great tho so everyone just danced and had a good time!!! The staff was also really quite wonderful and I'm not trying to be mean in saying this but the women on staff that are of a certain age, might want to rethink their own make-up and hairstyling to something a little more age appropriate and classy, so they look like the belong in their positions. read more

I came here today for a surprise bridal shower and it really is a stunning venue. The space is stunning. We lucked out with the weather and their outdoor landscaping is really beautiful for great photo ops. Also, as you walk in through the front entrance the space is breathtaking. It really makes you feel like a princess with the crystal chandeliers and 2 curving staircases - like everything's there for you. If you want a dramatic entrance - you got it. The windows are huge letting lots of light pour in and the staff was very accommodating with adjusting room temperature. Food was excellent and as a vegetarian, the chef was happy to modify the dishes for me with no trouble. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained throughout the event, I was really taken aback by the experience. AND as I'm a NYer, it was easy for me to call a cab and get over to the train station in 7min! read more

I had my wedding here several years ago. The place is beautiful, the food is great, but the people were difficult to deal with. There were many events leading up to our wedding that made us question whether we should actually have the event there, but we decided to stay. About an hour into the wedding, our room ended up losing power. Our DJ thought quickly and ran the wires into the next room since they had power. However, the bathrooms were pitch black (making it impossible for elderly and handicapped guests to use the rest room) and we had no air conditioner. Seeing as it was july, this was a huge inconvenience. When confronted about it, they blew it off as if it wasn't their problem, or a big deal. My guests were uncomfortable, i was uncomfortable and an older relative had to go to the hospital, but since they were already paid in full, they didn't care at all. Shortly after, i posted a review on wedding wire. Recently, the site contacted me and said addison park was disputing it. The review has since been removed because i couldn't produce a contract - 6 years later! Planning a wedding is stressful and many people rely on reviews. Unfortunately, this venue goes out of their way to see that negative reviews are removed and sites like wedding wire are enabling that... read more

The grounds and the interior décor are elegant and provided the perfect backdrop for our "Night of Elegance" theme. Our students were so inspired by the beauty of the place that we had a hard time getting them to stop taking pictures long enough to settle in. The food, cooked to order and served by an outstanding staff, was mouthwatering. The salmon was a favorite of many, but everyone loved the pasta! For some of our kids, the plated meals served in courses like a high-end restaurant was a brand new experience. All of my guests were in awe of the Viennese hour! The beautifully laid out desserts tasted as delicious as they looked. I promise I have never tasted Jell-O that tasty! My kids are still talking about the warm crepes and the various cheesecakes and the variety of ice-cream desserts. The desserts were more than something to eat, they were something to experience! Your staff was professional and showed real concern for our kids. They were easy to talk to and kept everything moving smoothly. There was very little left for us to do. Your years in the business was evident. Our principal said that our prom was the best she has attended and she attends every prom every year. I have been telling everyone who will listen. I had my wedding here last Sept. This place is beautiful and our guest loved their food. However, we lost $3000. We originally set a date a year before but due to family emergency, we had to change the date. When we cancelled our original date which was 11 months in advance we put down $5000 towards that date. And we were told that they will put all of $5000 towards the new date. However when the time came to set the new date we were told otherwise. In the end they applied $2000 towards the new date and took our $3000. read more
