26 Bridge Street is located on....well, 26 Bridge Street of course-lol. Who knew that 26 Bridge used to be a metal factory? Once upon a time a metal factory.... now it is presently a lovely venue that hosts various private events. Yes, one can book 26 Bridge for their wedding, parties, anniversaries and all types of other celebratory functions. We came here on 2/2/19 to attend La Tablee NY Tasting (thanks for the tickets!). As we pulled up in front of the place we were kindly greeted by a gentleman at the front door. The La Tablee NY Tasting is a celebration of over 100 wines of the Rhone Valley (Northen + Southern France) . The La Tablee NY Tasting was already in full swing as we checked in, placed our outerwear at the coat check and were each given a wine glass and wine tasting booklet. Before proceeding towards any wine/food tables, we glanced at the map indicating where each wine/food table was located. We went to each table, sampled things and marked it off in our booklet. There was space to write notes pertaining to specific wines that we liked. Because I enjoy the flavor of white wine and since there was fewer of those, I can safely say that every single white wine I had was my favorite-lol. Along with the wine tasting, there were delightful tasty treats to sample from restaurants/eateries including Atrium, Andante Dairy, Bar Boulud, Celestine and Frankies Spuntino. The Charcuterie platters (fresh cheeses, breads, crackers, fruit and meats) were so good. We tried Toscanna Aqua Penna for the first time (yes, I am very late-lol) and this bottled water is smooth + refreshing. Shout out to Columbe staffperson Ellie as she made the best Latte.... Bridge 26 boats wooden floors and high ceilings in which the natural sunlight radiates through the venue. There are bathrooms on the upper and lower levels and the downstairs bathroom has a connecting "powder room" so that brides, birthday boys/girls and eveyone in between can freshen up and get ready for their festivities. 375 people can be in the venue for standing events and a bit over 200 can fit there during seated events. The Bridge 26 website has a section in which you can send them an email to make general inquiries on booking this space. Came here for a wine tasting and for a holiday company party. The place is very open and spacious for events and gatherings. The front reception and coat check next to it is well formatted. Weddings venues with a rustic Brooklyn feel would be perfect here. It a bit of a walk from the Train station, and there's not much parking other than street parking. Location wise it's good for the scenic views if you walk out to Brooklyn Bridge park to take pictures, and the cobble stoned streets in the area. read more

Aged wallpaper, holes in the walls, stains on the wood bar, chips in the marble tables, tape on the walls, tears in the walls... BK venues did not properly maintain 26 Bridge from our initial walkthrough in February of 2018 to our rental date in June of 2019. Despite being assured a crew would come in an "touch up" the space before the wedding, most of the issues weren't resolved. We booked 26 Bridge in February of 2018 after doing a full walkthrough of the space. It was perfect. Fast forward to March of 2019 and the space looks... different. It was clear the venue aged without any maintenance. It looked like a run down catering hall, with the walls weathered from extraordinary use. It looked much different from our original walkthrough. It turns out the venue saw a drastic increase of demand (usually booked 6-7 days a week) but BK Venues did not take measures to keep up the general maintenance. The surprising demand of the space is something that they conceded was happening. We were upset- we paid a very high rental fee for the day based on our initial walkthrough a year before. We felt we were not getting what we contractually agreed to. After reading through the contract we noticed there was no mention of the condition or upkeep of the venue which was unfortunate. There was nothing we can do and Adam made sure we knew that. His answer was basic- not everyone complains and people are still booking the venue at an even higher rate than what we paid. He did agree the space was worn down, but there was not enough downtime to rework the wallpaper or other issues. The venue was booked consistently through our wedding day in June. The best we could do is warn others of these issues and hope others bring this to their attention. Please don't make the same mistake we did. read more

I LOVE THIS VENUE! It has me written all over it! I am currently crunching numbers and seeing if a big all-out wedding is what we both really want. Plenty of positives: -There is a huge kitchen prep area with two fridges and an ice maker. -On the lower level, there are two dressing rooms. - chairs and tables included -It's fairly new so the decor is modern, you can definitely personalize it to your taste and it will be even more fabulous. Negative: - this loft is priced a bit on the high side considering the fact that you have to build your wedding from scratch which is a good and bad thing. The loft is perfect for my minimal, chic, Brooklyn theme, fits it to a T! Definitely keeping my eye on it and seeing if this will be where I become a Mrs :-) read more

Beyond thrilled with 26 Bridge, where our 200-person wedding took place this past Saturday, December 9th 2017. Throughout the year, the 26 Bridge staff (worked with Adam and Lauren the most) were extremely helpful in setting up appointments with myself and vendors as needed, answered every question we had, the day of they were prepared for the snow, it was plenty big and accommodating for everything we needed, and the amazing caterers we brought in (from the Crystal Plaza Group out of Livingston, NJ) had everything they needed especially with the huge kitchen space this venue provides. It was the most gorgeous winter wedding and I was absolutely thrilled that we picked 26 Bridge in gorgeous Dumbo, Brooklyn (especially in the snow!) to host our event. I saw that this awesome event space didn't have many reviews so wanted to give them a shoutout. It's a great event space for a wedding or private party. The wedding I attended had 160 people comfortably in the venue. I am not sure if the staff was from the venue, but they were so awesome. If I was getting married, I would love their staff. Everyone from the security staff to the wedding coordinator was fantastic. They were visible, but not part of the party, if you know what I mean. Much like referees in a sporting event, they are there, but not part of the game itself. The place can be really dressed up or you can go for a more rustic feel with brick walls that cool ceilings. Parking shouldn't be a around in that neighborhood, our party was a few days after the 2017 snowstorm, so we were limited, but still plenty on the street and also, there is a garage about a block away. Perhaps 2 things that I wish they had differently: 1. For our set up, to get to the restroom it was a bit awkward if you wanted to go near ceremony time because it was behind the area where the Pastor stands. 2. I think that they wedding party opted for self serve coatcheck, but it may help to have a staff member there. Overall, I think that one can really customize the event which is cool! My friend and I attended a Google holiday party here and the venue was absolutely gorgeous. It's very spacious and you can definitely celebrate different ocassions here with the right designer. Google did a magnificent job with the decorations because it was stunning. The venue allowed you to have different stations all around the room and still not feel cramped. The bathrooms were clean and there were staff throughout cleaning up. Parking is very limited in the area and the train is a good distance away from the venue. Attended a wedding last night, venue was beautiful! but BEWARE! we asked inside if there was parking, and the coat check guy moved aside some cones and said we could park right across the street in front of a garage door. I asked if this was alright because we were parked in front of a drive way and he said yes. As we walked inside he pull my boyfriend to the side and shook him down for $10 for the spot! what? he told my boyfriend he told me about it but he defiantly did not. I got married on February 15, 2016 at 26 bridge. This place is an amazing place to get married. You can do almost anything to it or not too much and it's still beautiful. The staff is so helpful. I worked with Chris and Lauren and both were great. I had a million questions and they always got back to me very fast. They were super accommodating and flexible. The location looks great and it's huge. I had 150 ppl at my wedding and we were very comfortable. I did the ceremony and reception at this place. The location around it pretty cool too. Adam and his team were incredibly helpful during the planning process, and they were very responsive to all of our questions. The venue was exactly what we needed for our 125 guest wedding - we wanted one large space that we could section off so that the ceremony and reception felt equally intimate. Attended a wedding and reception at this venue. Excellent spot with the space needed. Like the brick walls on the interior of the building, brings character to the space. The wedding and reception was located in the same venue. The food, bar, tables for the reception and the chairs for viewing the wedding was all set up at one time so pretty good size venue. Not sure if dj bought his own sound system but if it was provided by the venue, the sound system was excellent. Good balance with bass and sound. Excellent venue !! read more

It was several leaks through out the building and my guest wasn't pleased. I think it was do to the rain or something. It was mop heads left on the floor as well. I think it was an eye saw. This place is GREAT for a wedding receptions, small intimate concerts, party, conferences and pretty much everything else that you can name. The space itself used to be a factory but having been renovated as a event venue should do wonders for that neighborhood in Dumbo as well as yet another place option to hold your events. This place is CLEAN and has maintenance crew available on site as you work or have events. They have a large kitchen as well so a catering crew would have an easy time with serve outs. I had a wonderful time hosting our wedding at 26Bridge! One item that was particularly difficult in our search for an offbeat venue in NYC was finding a space that was able to accommodate our guest count of 220 people and we found that space at 26Bridge! It was definitely a journey having to hire all the bells and whistles that come along with a wedding but looking back, it was all worth it! We actually booked our wedding a little over a year out from our date and were surprised to see how much the venue changed since we first saw it - the basement was completely renovated to have a beautiful sitting area for the bride and the groom and the front lobby had a TV if you wanted to use it to show pictures/slides. We had our wedding at 26 Bridge for around 150 guests. We fell in love with the venue the very first time we saw it. What we love about 26 Bridge was that the main room has a massive space without any columns, this allowed us to host our ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception in the same venue with some clever draping. The venue also included more than enough reception tables and chairs for our guests as well as hi-boy tables. We are very pleased with the aesthetic of the venue and was able to achieve the crazy vision we had in mind for our special day. We requested locks for the dressing rooms at short notice and they've installed it in no time. Adam, our main contact at the venue, was super responsive to our emails and requests so this really helped with the planning process. Areas for improvement would be one of the dressing rooms was too dark and this created a logistics issue for us as we used the brighter dressing room to get ready and had to give it up to the performer that we hired. It wouldn't be a problem if everything ran on schedule but we were running late which meant the performer was set outside waiting for the room to be ready. Also the toilet bowl in the dressing room was clogged during the event which made it unusable for the most part. We had it locked so the maintenance people couldn't come in to fix it at the time that we were not using it. Still deserving of a 5 star review nonetheless. We recommend it for anyone who wants to create a unique wedding or any event experience. read more

I came here for a yoga event hosted by freepeople, but it would appear the space hosts all different types of events. To comment on the space itself, it is big with high ceilings and very modern. There are two coat rooms and a large lobby area that would probably be perfect for cocktail receptions. There was also an upstairs part where the DJ was stationed that worked really well. read more

26 Bridge was the perfect place for our wedding! We loved it when we had our first walkthrough. Throughout the planning process Adam was incredibly accommodating to help us find time to schedule 2 more walkthroughs when needed. We had 145 guests and plenty of room, definitely could have fit more! The venue was a great temperature, had an easy load-in dock, and plenty of space for all the vendors. The bridal and grooms' suites downstairs with private bathrooms were amazing for getting ready. After the ceremony, my husband and I went up to the small balcony while the guests went to cocktail hour and it was the perfect spot to take a special moment together while overlooking our wedding! We didn't need too much decor because the space is so beautiful! So many people kept telling us that as it became night time the room looked even more magical.
