2026 update: Last year Hunter painted the outside of my house (see previous review) and did such a…read morefantastic job that I hired him to come back this year & paint the inside. Hunter worked with me to develop a plan to complete the job within my timeframe and he and his assistant (Gabo) worked tirelessly to get it done in time. Not only was the job done on time, it was done meticulously. The entire interior of my home was painted - walls, doors, closets, ceilings, & trim. I could not be happier with the results - every room looks bigger, brighter, & cleaner. Like a new house! Hunter was always responsive, respectful, patient, & answered all my questions throughout the process. I have already referred friends & family to Hunter (Horizon Painting). He uses high quality paint, holds himself to the highest standard, & works hard to ensure his customers are 100% satisfied.

They spent as much time as it took to prep our house including replacing siding and other damage, scraping the surfaces and calking - much calking! They helped with paint choices and suggested trim options. The painting is awesome. Hunter is very detailed and thorough and seeks perfection in his work. And on top of all this, they restained our decks including a gazebo with a slat roof and more nooks and crannies that imaginable. Everything looks brand new. OH! And he and his crew are delightful to work with, good communication and follow up. I highly recommend Horizon Painting, LLC.

I am writing this on behalf of my 80+ year old neighbor. Two young people from DaBella came to look…read moreat her project (replacing a sliding glass door) and give her a quote. She told them muliple times that she would need to think about it, but they would not accept that. After SIX hours of high pressure tactics she ended up writing them a check for the down payment just to get them to leave. She later called and said she did not want to use their company but was refused a refund of her down payment. I think it is deplorable that this company preys on elderly people with their high pressure sales tactics.

We were getting quotes for a replacement for our roof. First off, he showed up in a tiny little…read morewhite car with no company markings on it so I had no idea who he was or why he was there. Then, the guy that came to our house seemed to be a little off put that I was the one there to talk to and not my husband. I counted 10 times he asked me when my husband was going to be home or saying how he wished my husband was there. He quoted me almost 40,000 for the roof not including the taking off and putting back on our solar panels. I kept telling him that we were going to be doing multiple other quotes the following day he but kept trying to convince me to go with them right then and there. I told him no, not until we get other quotes, I don't know how many times. He dropped the price down to 33,000 if I said yes but he just would not listen and i told him that this is a very large purchase and I am not going to be pressured into something like this so quickly but he still kept pushing. He was also very interested in the names of the other companies because he wanted to tell me if they were good companies or not. I did not have the names so he seemed a little bummed about that. I have a lot of patience but when I kept getting asked when the husband will be home I finally called my husband to tell him what was happening and how I was not thrilled with this guy. Luckily, my husband was a couple of minutes away and got home to see what the deal was. The guy went through the whole thing again with him. Got the price down to 27,000 but was telling us that we HAD to make a decision right then and there. My husband told him that we are doing the other quotes the next day and that he knew his selling tactics because he had to go through the same thing many years ago when he was a salesman and it wasn't going to pressure him. I remember that he also tried to guilt trip me into saying yes because it was taking time out of his day and taking other possible sales away from him. I caught him in at least 2 lies and one of them being that there weren't very many reviews on Yelp and all there reviews were great and that because they are part of the BBB they are the best. I have seen many companies part of the BBB and have a large amount of complaints so that held no validity for me and while we were talking I checked yelp and saw the reviews. Not only all of this, my folks went with DaBella for their siding and they were charged twice as much as they should have been. Then, the quality was very spotty and they had to have multiple things fixed. It took over a year to get someone out to their house to get this issues fixed as well. We most definitely did not go with DaBella and all of the other places we got quotes from were half the price and the company we went with has 5 stars, did not pressure us, was very down to earth, and been doing this profession for 25+ years. Be very wary of DaBella. They may have some good work but not in this area.
