When I picked her up she looked HORRIBLE!! which was not the first time she was groomed there by the same groomer. The last time was Dec 2021, she didn't look bad, however not great, I 'm a person to give someone a second chance. I finally received a call this morning 2/18/22 @ 10:30 am from a man named Jeff from Pet Sense. He was as rude as anyone could ever be with a dog owner, interrupting me and not letting me speek, sure hope he wasn't from Corporate? I was expecting a call from a woman named Rachel whom I never received a call from. Apparently there was a picture sent to him (Jeff) after my Bichon was groomed, he mentioned "my dog didn't look bad". I asked him if he knows what a Bichon is suppose look like, he said "NO" he had no clue, so apparently he don't know anything about dog breeds. I asked if the groomers at Pet Sense are drug tested and he said 'NO". I firmly believe they need to be, (my opinion only) This groomer's eyes we"re blurry/dilated when I got there. Should have been my first indication. Oh well, a lesson learned. The man I talked to this morning (Jeff) did offer me a refund, so apparently this situation has been resolved. I WILL NOT recommend Pet Sense groomers in Somerset, Ky to anyone I know I know!!!

Over feeding cost a lot of money, wasteful and frustrating. Loose baled from the farm, with fat double and triple thick flakes that fall apart when trying to separate flakes to reduce waste, inturn dropping loose thick steamed Alfalfa all over ground, doubling work load having to rake up piles and put in wheel barrel to carry over a few acres to get everyone fed. They don't seem to care and a few of the office staff are rude and treat the loader staff like children calling them "boys" when they are are actually nice young men, working hard giving better customer service than the "customer service cashier" I used to tell people about "hayplus" a couple years ago, not anymore. They must have changed the farmers they used to buy from or someone is placing number 2 in the number 1 barn, where they have stacks of mixed cow hay in the number 1 squeeze. When we spend thousands of dollars on feed we expect better quality when we think we are purchasing number one we expect number one, not dry dusty overgrown, thick steamed Alfalfa with purple flowers, that has little protein nutrition because the farmer waited to long to cut and bale. Quality matters when animals depend on proper nutrition to grow and feed their young, this kind of Alfalfa reduces milk production and the animals are not satisfied, needing additional supplements costing more than it would with quality number one they used to sell. Very disappointing and frustrating to spend so much money on low quality feed.
