Our repair was covered by the person who hit us and we were a little concerned as to how it would be handled. Our first visit to Olsen's settled all our worries. The USAA claims officer met us there, went over the car, and answered all our questions. He let us know that a rental car, through Enterprise, would be available with no money out of pocket. The morning we arrived for the repairs, Enterprise was there to greet us with the car. Olsen's kept us informed of the progress through the website and called us when there was a little delay due to more damage uncovered. We arrived to pick up our car, dropped the Enterprise keys at the front desk, and discovered it was shiny, clean and perfect! Kudos to Olsen's, the insurance claims officer, and Enterprise. This is a great example of three different companies working hand in hand to provide a wonderfully efficient way to help diffuse, what could be, a distressing time. Wonderful! read more

First of all I missed my first scheduled apt bc of unforeseen circumstances. This sucks I know for them. When my husband called to reschedule the lady was a complete Karen about the reschedule. The day of my second apt I was 25 min early to drop the car off for them to look over. The lady said "no you cannot leave the car here and you have to be here for the apt." They should have mentioned that when I made the appointment In the first place. I had to work and planned to pick it up after. I left saying I would reschedule and then quickly called after saying my husband would Make it. He took the car in apparently you have to sign a contract that you will take the car to them for the work to be completed to even get an estimate. Which makes no sense bc why would you agree before you see how much it will cost. Reluctantly my husband did sign the paper. Only for them to call me just no with no reason just we decided we will not fix this Audi. Q7 with minimal front damage from a hit and run. No reason why they won't fix the car just cost me another month of wasted time and two people trip into the office. I had my bumper replaced last year at Olsen. I backed into a building and the left rear quarter panel popped out. The estimator was surprised that the bracket that attaches the rear panel was missing. I am both surprised and disappointed with the work olsen was supposed to do. read more

The staff here is super friendly and helpful. I brought my Jeep here to get a running light replaced due to rock damage. They fixed it and it looked great however after getting it home I noticed the light was loose and had to take it back to be reinstalled correctly. About a month later my wife's car got backed into and we took it to Olsen Auto Body, they did an excellent job repairing it, they even let us know that the insurance company was trying to put in after market parts that we not quality. Only problem with this trip was they broke the key fob, causing us more running around to get a new one, and then get reimbursed. In short their work is excellent at completion, and the staff are great; it would just be nice it second trips weren't necessary for simple mistakes. read more

On August 2nd my husband was rear ended by someone going 40-45 mils faster than he was. When I called Olsen to see if I could have the car Towed there, Brittany answered the phone. Now being someone who has never had to deal with this type of situation, I was completely frazzled watching my husband, the day after our ten year anniversary being taken to the hospital in an ambulance, Brittany asked me when the accident took place, I gave her the time and once see realized I was in the middle of dealing with it at the accident scene she told me "Yes have the car towed here, I have some extra questions for you, so here's what you need to do, first take a moment to fully process what is happing and let yourself get settled, then when you're ready call me back" When I tell you, in that moment those words SAVED me! the customer service is above and beyond excellent. They helped guide me through the process and the steps I needed to take, did not once get aggravated with me for having to call multiple times for them to repeat to me what the process I needed to handle in order to get the necessary information. The entire team was precise, and vigilant. They had the ball rolling immediately. Everyone I interacted with at Olsen and everyone who handled our car did so much more than I would have expected. They treated my family like their own, they cared for us and helped to make us feel safe, which is huge when you go through such a scary traumatic situation. My teen driver needed one more foot of stopping distance that wasn't there and ran into someone's ball hitch. Olsen's repaired minor front end damage quickly and professionally. AVOID! AVOID! I went to this place on blind faith, after browsing around on their website and driving by the shop. Doh! I guess looks can be VERY deceiving! My car was backed into on the passenger door, so the Olsen estimator did his thing and I dropped it off. Three days later, I picked it up, and was very happy to see the repair appeared to be fixed. Little did I know just how bad their work was once I looked at it... 1. The door molding STILL had a 5 inch white scratch where the woman hit me. Why did they not replace this? 2. There were white dots all over the side of my car that wouldn't come off with a wash. 3. There was some overspray in one area - even the Olsen tech called it that. 4. There was dripping paint marks in the side turn signal area! So I took it back up to Olsen, even though I have since moved away to Seattle. They painted the molding, and washed it again. I looked closely again. The white dots were still there but the molding appeared fine. The Olsen tech came out and put a polishing compound on the car to remove some of the white dots. Most of them came out, but what were they??? Fast forward a week - my mechanic friend has the car on his lift, and he discovers there are dripping paint marks all along the bottom of the molding that they painted. BEWARE.... these people have NO such thing as quality assurance!!!! read more

We have used Olsen in the past. They did an ok job. This time, no such luck. And, we will never use them again. We have been waiting for our car for three months now. They continue to make excuses about how busy they are. We have been promised our car will be ready multiple times just to be turned away when we go to pick it up. This last time, they said, "your car is being washed and will be ready in 10 minutes." When we arrived, in 10 minutes, the car wasn't even there! They had take it to Les Schwab to get the tire fixed. They had 'just noticed it was damaged'. Uh, yeah, that's where it was hit, three months ago!! What else did they miss!?! They act like we are over reacting when we are frustrated. And, they act like they are doing us a big favor by covering our rental because insurance no longer will since it had been so long. I may update this review when/if we finally get our car back. I was curious as I haven't used Olsens (haven't had the need, thankfully) since the owner Mark died. These folks still "rock" the autobody business! From the gal on the phone to the estimator to the workmanship.....they even went the extra mile to make sure the bumper pad got put back on my replacement bumper. (which I would have forgotten about). AND when I picked my car up it was washed on the outside and vacuumed and cleaned up on the inside. I would refer peeps to them in a heartbeat! My daughter's car was hit mid-December, and our insurance company recommended we go to Olsen's to have it fixed. Although I had a hell of a time finding a parking space for her damaged vehicle at Olsen's, once I got into the office, my experience was very positive. I was first met by someone from Olsen's who introduced me to the adjuster. They took us out to the car and explained what they were going to do. Then I was taken back inside and introduced to a rental car rep who brought us to a rental car (across the street) to take home. I really felt taken care of! A week later, they called me back, went over what was fixed, and provided a computerized illustration of the work. Very professional. No money out of pocket. I noticed there was a lot of negative things said about this company by others, but this was not our experience at all. read more

The parts, all original, the paint matched perfectly, and although the work took an extra day because of an illness, they offered me a loaner car. I'd noticed that the molding right under my front bumper was hanging down a little bit (probably from a curb or the like), but as it was not interfering with the car's driving performance, I just ignored it. Until the day I backed out of my weird driveway a little too close to the guy-wire tie-down, and it reached out and grabbed the little part hanging down. It was now dragging and worrisome. I had no idea what to do! I taped it up with packing tape as best I could and went in search of help. The first place I stopped (Les Schwab - hey it was near a tire, so that made sense) sent me over to Olsen Auto Body. I drove over and went inside. They had a couple people waiting and two employees manning the phones/counters. I spoke to Lanni when she got off the phone. She asked good questions and gave me coffee (YAY) and asked me to wait a moment. I ended up getting traded off to Patrick as someone came in that she had worked with before. He asked a couple more questions and offered to just take a peek at it. A moment later he was under the car and saying "Oh this isn't bad at all" (phew!) We went back inside and he said he'd have a tech just add a couple clips, if I could wait about 10 minutes. (WOW!) Sure, I had a bit more coffee to finish anyway. A little less than 10 minutes later, he was back with my keys and said it was all ready. (Huh?) "Cool! What do I owe you?" "Nothing, we have a drawer of those clips and it took no time." "Really?" "Yup, glad we could help. Have a great day!" "You guys are my heroes! Thank you so much!" And I drove off with confidence and a warm glow inside. In working with my busy schedule, he was instrumental in making sure that we had an assessment and actual service appointment scheduled, and was going above and beyond as my Geico agent went radio silent for two weeks. Wes is definitely an A+ associate. This place is garbage. Lets just say I very rarely feel compelled to write reviews on a business, but because of their extremely poor service, I felt it was important to let people know. They have this very stupid text message service that updates you on the progress of their repairs. I received the first messages saying "We have updated your completion date from 1/29 4:00pm to 1/30 4:00pm" two weeks later I have received well over 10 messages notifying me that they are changing the completion date. Today was the final straw after once again they failed to pull through after promising they would not let me down for the 11th time. Find a business that you know will not screw you around, this is not that business. read more

It was my first day as a volunteer for a local organization and I had been instructed to pick-up donated ink cartridges and bring them back to home base. Imagine my surprise when, (WTF?!?!?!), the trunk of my car, full of about 30 precious ink cartridges, Would. Not. Open. Part of a plastic bag was caught on a latch, yadda yadda yadda. I was sent here by Geico after one of their insured drivers backed into my classic 2001 Toyota Tacoma pickup. This was a big mistake! They work with Geico and provided a very low estimate. I had damage to my lower right front bumper and the side marker light. The guy at Olsen auto body went around my truck pointing out little flaws, dings, etc as he worked up the quote. He refused to include the side marker light in the quote until I showed him photos of the other vehicle crunched against it (from the day of the accident). The very low quote was sent to Geico (less than $300 total including labor). The parts quoted were cheap Chinese aftermarket parts. The OEM bumper alone from the Toyota dealer would have cost over $300. Geico immediately sent the small check to me and refused to negotiate or provide for OEM parts. This was a very busy time for me so I didn't pursue the claim further. (I wish I had taken them to small claims court!) If Geico tries to send you here, refuse and go to an OEM dealer for your vehicle. Don't let Olsen Auto Body and Geico rip you off too! read more

I had an excellent experience here. My husband had scratched the side of my new Accord with a power lawn mower, and it looked like it had been keyed. Went to Olsen's just to get an estimate, fearing they might try to take advantage of a woman. But Patrick came out and buffed out the scratches completely FOR NO COST! Tried to pay him, but he refused. Such a pleasant surprise! They definitely are service-oriented, and I will recommend them to any and all friends needing such services. This is absolutely the worst body shop I have ever had to deal with. Not only are they ridiculously expensive, at least 25% more than the competition, but their customer service was horrible. Two weeks passed, I emailed again and was told that I'd been assigned a person who was on vacation?
