When clients were transferred to Corewood from another provider there was no organized support offered and no significant changes to the disorganization and lack of follow up in sight. It became too difficult to reach anyone, to get clarity on procedures or figure out forms that weren't working, and then also finding billing errors and getting shifted around or given wrong information. I felt on my own and as if Corewood never saw these things as real problems. They had many reasons & explanations which I understood at the time, but I got tired of trying to accept struggling on my own to get simple things you would need and that you are paying for.

From the start it has been a significantly different and better experience than working with other agencies. They are large enough to truly have their act together, yet small enough to be incredibly personable and accessible. Their caring, responsiveness, flexibility and efficiency are truly fantastic. They get the big important things right: they ask smart questions and truly listen to your answers to try to find people ideally suited to your needs; they have a large pool of truly qualified people to draw from; they work really hard to have one caregiver cover as many of your requested shifts as possible even when it's a non-standard, changeable schedule; they don't pressure you for more hours than you need, nor pass you from one administrator to another every week; they don't artificially jack up prices when they hear desperation in your voice or shame and blame you when a caregiver doesn't fit your needs. They also get the secondary details right: they are always reachable, their response time is incredible, their nurse does an intake in the least obtrusive way possible and even then only when required by Maryland state law or the tasks involved, caregivers can login via an app that utilizes GPS for an efficient time card system, they can help with longterm care insurance reimbursement, and paying invoices is a snap online. I really couldn't ask for more. They get my highest recommendation...and my continued business!

She is understanding and totally will make you feel comfortable. The receptionist out front was also courteous. When I first got there I had about a 5-6 minute wait because they were in the back. My appointment was around lunch time. When she finally saw me, she apologized profusely for the wait, which wasn't even that bad. The medical assistant also was very nice and went through what would happen during the appointment. She really helped calm me down. Dr. Gopalani was very professional. The only bad part of this office is that it is all the way in Olney which is kind of far for me, but other than that, I had a good experience here. My appointment was initially scheduled 3 weeks out, but when I asked the receptionist if I could come in earlier, she fit me in the same day.
