My goal was to get something before the winter because my summer purse is fabric and leads to drenched contents during the rainy season. The features that were a must for my new purse were that it needed to be leather/water proof. The main compartment needed to have a zipper closure. I hoped to find a purse that has a full size flat pocket on the backside of the purse for my handicap placard and for my small file of half fold papers. The space of the main compartment needed to be roomy enough for the contents I always carry; double pack epipen, purse calendar, wallet, checkbook, mini first aid kit, pens, notepad, cell phone, keys.i hoped that I could find a satchel style that had a double handle that I could carry in my hands or hike up on my shoulder. My husband realized several weekends ago that I was shopping online for a purse. He steered me to JCPenney.com because they were having a sale that went through that Sunday. What could be better than buy one,get the second one free. After spending the day looking at pictures and reading descriptions I found two purses to order. I kept my fingers crossed until they arrived that they were going to be right but knew JCPenney is good about accepting returns if they were totally wrong. Three days after placing the order they arrived. I'm happy with both of them and plan to use one or the other depending on what I'm doing. Thanks JCPenney.com for running such a good sale.. I found a scarf I liked on display but there was no price tag on it. So I had to be the one standing in line waiting to get a price on this scarf. As i was standing there waiting, it occurred to me that SHE should have been the one waiting for a price...not me. I don't work there!!! so with that, i put the scarf back and they can shove it where the sun don't shine. VERY poor customer service!! Never again. why should i have to get the price??? are they not trying to sell their crap? (Of course, I looked all through the department and didn't see another scarf like it)

The furniture came with no paperwork from the manufacturer, so we went back to the store to get it along with a few questions. Long story short we found out the furniture came with no warranty on the leather and more importantly the electric and mechanical hardware in the recliners. At no time during the sale or nowhere on the contract was any mention made of a "Non Warranty" sale. When spending well over $3000 Dollars on a new piece of furniture most buyers have expectations that if something goes wrong, your furniture will be covered. Had this "Non-Warranty" been explained to us we would not have purchased the couch. We will be pursuing this matter further, as we feel they (Furniture Row) were very deceptive and possibly infringed on some legalities for consumer protection.

I went to Hobby Lobby today to get some silk flowers for a Fall arrangement for my front door. All…read moreof their Fall items are on sale for 40% off. I picked out several silk bushes that were perfect for my design. I needed a few more items for filler, so was looking around through the regular silk flowers. They had lots of signs that those items were 50% off. I spent about an hour shopping and was very pleased with my selections. I got in line to pay with my on-line coupon. I knew the coupon was good only on items not on sale. I had a piece of Styrofoam that was not on sale, so the cashier applied the coupon to that item. The last 2 items she was going to ring were the two "not Fall" silk pieces. She told me they were not on sale. I explained that there were lots of 50% off signs in that area, so she called someone in the department. A lady came, looked at what I had selected, and went to check. She was gone and gone and gone. Finally, she calls and says those 2 pieces are not on sale. The cashier asked her to come up and get me to show me what was on sale and what was not. I walked back to the flowers because I knew where I had picked them up and where the signs were located. SURPRISE! No signs!!! She walked up and said those are not on sale, but they might be next week. I told her I was just going to buy nothing and she said OK. "OK"??? What kind of customer service is that? I walked up to the cashier and told her she could void the order because I was going to get nothing....her response was OK also! Wow, folks, your marketing and customer service is horrible! My bill would have been between $60 and $70. It's good to know your business is so great that you can afford to lose that type of sale!!
