This place makes adulting fun! I don't know why I never discovered this before. It's got everything…read moreI've ever wanted to look at all in one place. From knives to pots and pans to kitchen gadgets you didn't think you would need until you see them. They even have makeup, hair products, clothes, and anything you can think of. It was so much fun roaming around this store, and they have a variety of the same item. For example, my goal was to get a butcher knife. They have big ones, small ones, heavy ones, ones with short handles, and ones with longer handles. I spent a long time picking one out to my liking. The inside feels like a big warehouse with everything neatly placed in a way that you can just walk up and down the aisles with ease. There was so much to look at that I felt like I spent close to an hour or more here. Some things were reasonably priced, while others were a little higher. It really depends on what you plan on getting from here. I almost got a wok from there but decided against it because the one on sale was a little bit too heavy for me. If you are in the area and love kitchen things, I would suggest going to Shin Shin to check it out. It was fun for me, and I plan to take my mom there on our next trip to Seattle. However, I might regret that decision later, because my mom would just spend her entire trip there and not want to leave. Haha, I will keep you posted on this. Parking is plentiful. Credit cards are accepted. One thing that caught my attention, though, was that the employees would stare you down after a little while. Instead of having security cameras, they have employees at every corner who would randomly show up next to you to ensure you are "shopping" and not stealing. If you are okay with having a personal bodyguard while you shop, then there would be no issues at all. Have fun!

I had driven past Shin Shin several times in Lakewood, but always headed elsewhere. This time I…read moremade it a point to detour and check it out (4/17/26). It is a fairly large retail site that carried assorted housewares, some alcohol, restaurant gear, small appliances, bedding and linen, Korean hair & skincare products, and clothing. I was rather amused at the gigantic sizes of some bowls, woks, rice cookers, and cooking pots...literally could hold a toddler or two. As other Yelp posts have noted, they do have attentive store personnel that are at the ready should you have any questions. Unless you're a regular shopper, one will definitely be wandering and browsing every aisle since there are no overhead signage. After all that wandering, I did end up paying for a substantial back scratcher for The Homie and a floral print quilted vest for my mom. Both were reasonable and one was even on sale! Chalk it up to, you don't think you'll find anything in particular, but stop in Shin Shin for some momentary retail therapy.

He said it a couple times...it was totally unexpected because im a man and dont get offers like that everyday. When I was checking out the cashier wasnt around for whatever reason and it was just me and the security guard which was 100% awkward silence for 5 minutes. As I was walking out he laughed about it. I guess getting turned down makes his day.

The first part of January I purchased a belt from the Spanaway Goodwill. It was a brand new belt…read morewith the tag still on it and the price tag said $15. The name on the belt was one that I had never heard of FIRENZE I should've known that it was a cheap one, but when I looked at the inside, it said genuine leather so, I bought it. 2 to 2 1/2 weeks later the belt is coming apart where the buckle connects to the belt at the sizing holes. The top layer of the belt is made of what appears to be canvas covered with a thin layer of some kind of plastic or rubber material to look like leather. The inside layer which makes up the bulk of the belt appears to be shredded leather that has been pressed and formed to the shape of the belt and it is broken in half and shredding. The bottom or inside layer appears to be a thin layer of leather.. I went to the store last weekand showed one of the managers the condition of the belt after 2 1/2 weeks and was told they have a seven day policy on return returns and there's nothing that they can do because it's been more than seven days, I showed her the belt and the condition and she asked me if I had a receipt and I said no, and she said there was nothing she could do. Today 5 Feb 2024 I called the Goodwill store to talk with the general manager, and I gave her the same story about the condition of the belt and I informed her that these were new belts with the tag still on them, not the donations that they typically get. I was told they had some on sale that were for $9.95. I told her there was a $15 price tag on them and I thought that's what I paid for it but I didn't really pay attention to what the cash register receipt said. My point in writing this review has nothing to do with the price of the product, but the absolute lack of quality in this product that claimed to be genuine leather And totally worthless. I would think that any reputable retailer would be concerned about that and be willing to reimburse when a product is proven to be junk and should not be sold to anyone at any price. This particular store has totally failed in their customer service. My recommendation is to never buy any new product from Goodwill industries because there is no guarantee against failures.
