Vibe: Busy but not crowded on a Saturday afternoon. I set up shop for nearly three hours and saw quite a few people stop by. Very cute shopping area that can help you find a gift for anyone. Food: I was skeptical of the latte when it arrived because it was so light. I was worried it would just taste like flavored milk, but that was not the case. Nice roasted coffee without being bitter and the salted caramel syrup was delicious. The fruited chicken salad was not my favorite but I would like to try some more of their menu.

I stopped in here around lunch time for the first time and was so impressed with this cute shop! There's a lot of seating options, tables for dining, and a shop with all kinds of goodies! They had a large menu of sandwich, salads, etc. I thought my sandwich was great and it came out quickly! This would be a perfect place to stop and get some work done or a quick bite to eat. Such a cute comfy atmosphere!

Totally enjoy grabbing lunch at Oliver & Co prior to going to wineries in San Saba and Lometa. Good service at counter. Quickly made sandwiches, chips and drink. Fun atmosphere and even has gift packages if chocolates and nuts for friends. Highly recommend!

We stopped by Oliver & Co. on a Friday morning on our way to a weekend in Big Bend. First impression was that it was a cute, clean, cozy establishment. It was 8:40am and we were the only ones in the place. We saw that they served breakfast until 9:00am, and so we were happy we'd be able to order some breakfast. The first person who greeted us was very nice, but the second girl seemed very put off that I was ordering waffles. She said they only served breakfast until 9, and we reminded her that it was 8:40. She reluctantly walked to the waffle pan. So, I was a little skeptical about what I'd be served. We went to our table each with our 50¢ tips of water. Hubby ordered the Migas. It was AWESOME! The homemade salsa (made, surprisingly by bothered-waffle-woman) was AMAZING!!!!!! My waffles were good...nothing I'd drive to San Saba for specifically, but they were thick and tasty. The butter and syrup were as advertised. BWW served us and was pleasant as we asked if the restaurant had been a bank. The lovely building and the good food left us feeling better than when we first started to order. We'd definitely return next time we visit San Saba.

We came here after a deckhouse wine tasting as we needed some ground in our stomach. It did hit the spot. They even have a gluten free version. I had the Fruity Chicken Salad gluten-free sandwich. It was delicious but you had to search for the fruit. I think it's ultimately had one, tops two grapes as fruit. The pineapple as advertised was missing. The restaurant / cafe itself had a great atmosphere and you even get to rate some different pecan before you decide to buy.

Stop here for lunch it looks very nice tasty even better

If you are lucky your Google Maps will route you through San Saba and you can stop here for lunch. Timing was great and we didn't even plan it. I love coming on this type of place while traveling. Good food and service and atmosphere. See photos. We got one sandwich and split it and small cup of soup. More than enough for road trip. Must stop on your way somewhere.

San Saba is the Pecan Capitol of the World. San Saba, TX is revamping its image and becoming a day-destination place in the Texas Hill Country. Oliver and Co. is one of those businesses that is helping revitalize the downtown area of San Saba. Located in the middle of downtown on the first floor of the Dofflemyer Hotel, Oliver and Co. is housed in an old revitalized bank complete with a heavy steel door that used to be the bank vault. No need to break the door down now as it is simply a storage pantry. The original stone walls, gorgeous wood floors and Mason jar lighting add to the ambiance of the restaurant. All of the food we have had has been good. They have breakfast, lunch, coffee (both regular and foo-foo) and desserts. I had their Jalapeño Pimento Cheese Sandwich. It is a must if you are a pimento cheese fan. We also had their iced pecan latte which was a little on the sweet side but still very good. My son and daughter both had a panini. I got the last bite of her panini and thought it was very good. All in all, this is a great place to grab lunch when you are visiting the area. Definitely worth the trip.

This sandwich/soup/salad shop is in a great location- probably the best in town. A former bank, they repurposed the safe as their pantry & the decor aligns with the towns over all quaint TX hometown feel. The Italian panini was pretty good. The turkey panini was - meh... something a little off about it. The thinly sliced turkey, seemed to be a day past use by date (although my husband had no issue eating it). Brewed ice tea was refreshing. In hindsight, I should've tried the quiche of the day. It looked fantastic. I'd give the place another try. But wouldn't be honest if I gave more than 3 stars for this first visit. Those stars are attributed to the shops quirky/fun/historical feel as well as the friendly staff.

I find myself in many cafes during my travels, and Oliver & Co is an excellent one. I stopped in here while visiting a friend in San Saba, ordered a quiche and a cappuccino, and sat down to do some work. Not only is the ambiance great with high ceilings, open floors, and large windows, but the food and drink are also fantastic. Overall a great cafe. Stop in for breakfast or lunch, or just grab some coffee, and you won't be disappointed.

Always stop here when I go back to Richland! Love it ! Everything pecan! I always pick up things so I can bring it back to San Antonio and give to friends to brag about how amazing San Saba pecans are! No one believes me! Till I bring some back and they always ask me when am I going back to get more !

We have been purchasing infused olive oil's and balsamic vinegar from San Saba Olive Oil Company…read morefor a few years. The flavors that they offer in both oil and vinegar are amazing. The shop is set up like a tasting room. You can walk around the store and sample the different oils and vinegars using small bread pieces. I have yet to taste a flavor that I did not like. They have a very large selection of flavors in both oil and vinegar. We purchase both and use them to cook or simply use them as a salad dressing. For instance, the balsamic vinegar's are delicious straight out of the bottle on salad. Some of our favorites are Brown Fig, Blueberry, and Lemongrass. Our favorite oils are Jalapeño, Roasted Garlic, and Tuscan Herb. René is the owner. She is very helpful in discussing the ingredients of each one and helping you decide the flavors to purchase. She will also let you place orders over the phone and ship them to you. Small bottles are available for purchase if you have a difficult time making up your mind. Larger bottles are available once you find your favorites and start using more oil or vinegar. If you are purchasing direct from the store, you can bring your large bottle back into the store for a refill and save some money. Bottom line - San Saba Olive Oil Company is a fantastic store to purchase unique flavors of oils and balsamic vinegars. I highly recommend you stop in if you are ever driving through San Saba, Texas. Call René if you have any questions about what to order. She is a great help. Bon appétit.
