This was my first trip to the Hill Country and my first time tasting fresh Texas pecans. This place is amazing. They process their own pecans ands make all of their sweet treats fresh each week. The staff was so nice and accommodating. She explained all of the different items and gave us samples of everything. I have never had pecans that tasted so good. Upon leaving, she gave me and my 3 daughters a caramillican which is like a turtle candy. My regret is that I didn't but a box of those. The products can be purchased on line and I plan to fill my Christmas gift order from Milligan's. If you find yourself on the way to Fredericksburg, make sure you stop at Millicans. read more

TOO MANY pecans on the Caramillicans. I like pecans, but it was way too many. They should rename them to Millicans because there is barely any caramel. The chocolate on top is more of a flattened Hershey's Chocolate Kiss. On the other hand, the Toffee was magnificent! read more

Unfortunately, my package was delivered to the wrong address, and despite contacting Millican Pecan about the issue, I am still waiting to receive a replacement or a refund. I requested a refund, but as of May 25, 2024, I have yet to receive it. I recommend doing business with this company only if you are prepared to lose money. I got the chocolate covered pecans and their caramel pecan chocolates. Their chocolate is to die for. I have had chocolate in Switzerland and have gone to Ghirardelli's in San Francisco neither can compare! By far the creamiest and best chocolate ever. You put their pecans together with their chocolate and pop that in your mouth and get ready to melt. You will think you have died and gone to heaven they are that good. We took a trip to charming San Saba for a community service project. My wife was excited about picking up some pecans, being that we were headed to the pecan capitol of the world and all. As soon as we passed the San Saba city limit sign we saw a small white sign that said "PECANS" so we busted a U-Turn and ended up at Millicans. We were greeted by Kristen Millican, the owner. Kristen was very sweet and welcomed us in with a smile and immediately began sharing the history of their pecan business as well as some cool history about the town of San Saba. She served us some pecan coffee and let us sample some fresh pecans from their harvest--delicious!! We picked up a big bag of the semi shelled pecans to enjoy on our road trip. So glad we stopped by!
