Owner is very friendly in person. Owner is not responsive to texts which is her preferred choice of communication. Owner is not sensitive to time restraints. Idea for groom's cake was good, execution was poor. Set-up at reception was late and on-going well after the appointed time. Cake was good. Quality has gone down hill as the business has grown. One day I went in for 6 cupcakes and all they had were red velvet 30 minutes after opening. They informed me that they were waiting on muffin tins to arrive. If I were them, I would've gone to Walmart and not lost customers. I came back later anyway and they didn't have their normal selection plus no keto cookies for my mom. They wanted me to come back AGAIN for that to be ready IF they were going to make them that day. I loved flour power when we moved here but I don't even go anymore because of more poor service experiences. Great cupcakes but there are barely any new options worth my time anymore. read more

Flour Power was recommended to us by a local resident of Early since we were not from the area. We needed a groom's cake for our son's wedding and WOW, did Kim deliver! I was so grateful for her communication and creativity as I had an idea of what I wanted but wasn't entirely sure. We added a couple of dozen cookies to our order and that seemed to be no issue to accommodate. As we got close to the wedding date, we even were able to make some adjustments and Kim was so flexible and gracious. Our cake was AMAZING in flavor and design and the cookies were perfect! Ordered 2 dozen decorated cupcakes on Tuesday. Was told they would be ready by noon on Friday. Went in to pick up at 2 pm on Friday, not ready. Was told to come back Saturday morning. They close at 11 so I came in at 10:55, cupcakes were still not ready. Finally at 11:25, I walked out with them. They just kept saying they had been up all night working, I don't feel like I deserved poor quality because of their overbooking! If all of the other orders received the same quality product and service I did, you won't have to worry about being overbooked. So disappointed! Cupcakes were very dry ( 12 year old birthday girls wouldn't even eat them)! Supposed to be 12 red velvet and 12 lemon, neither one had any flavor. I texted the owner on Monday and was told she would get back with me that evening. Today is Wednesday and I still haven't heard from her. Thank goodness for a dear friend who made decorated cookies for me since the cupcakes weren't edible. Flour Power was recommended to me, but I won't be going back. read more

If you need a cake, Flour Power is the place to get it. We wanted one for our Son's Tarleton State University graduation party, but they were booked for at least a month. We begged and informed them it could be simple, just put a big T on it. Well, they were very nice and agreed. When we picked it up, it was very nice, they put a mortar board cap and a diploma on it as well and the taste was absolutely incredible. YUMMY!!!! read more
