From the moment we first stepped on the Eastside Apartments property, we felt genuinely welcomed by Tanner and got a great tour of the grounds. We were impressed by the combination of clear communication, professionalism, personalism, thoroughness, and attention to detail in our requests that Tanner provided... quick to respond, always followed up after to make sure we were satisfied with the answer/solution, and was very patient with us through the entire application process and move-in procedure. I am a Customer Care Manager and would be THRILLED to have someone like Tanner on my team. Honestly, I feel like I've even learned a thing or two from how Tanner handled everything with us! Even after scaring IT (him) off, IT returned a couple of minutes later, so we called the cops. Someone forcefully bent the window screen. Many changes have been made recently (over the past 6 months to year) for the best- new pool lounges, couches, and grills have been added, new gym equipment was installed (after asking the residents for feedback on what they'd like to get), and a nice waiting area for Uber and Lyft was built out to make it safer for residents to wait for cars. For being located right off Superior, I always worried about the noise- but have come to find it minimal. They also recently upgraded the sign for the apartments and repainted everything, keeping this old complex looking like new. They offer month to month, 6 month, or year leases and have been upgrading each room with new countertops, carpet, cabinets, and appliances. You have to bring in your own fridge (except for studios), but all others are provided. The maintenance staff has always been helpful and responded quickly to any issues we have come upon- toilets running, etc. Jordan is awesome and always willing to lend a helping hand and somehow always seems to know if you have a package the second she sees you (super observant)! Overall, these apartments can seem pricey, but they are a super solid choice for working professionals to call home!

The fake Mable chips off revealing a white chalk powder. The repair work has left my patio covered in debris every day. There are black gravel pieces everywhere and keeping them out of your apt is nearly impossible. This certainly doesn't feel family owned or operated. The residents here have been incredibly warm and friendly -- it's the kind of community where people smile, say hello, and actually make you feel welcome right away. And the staff? Truly exceptional. I have to start with the café team -- MJ, Jesse, Anna, and now Jordan. From day one, they've made us feel at home, almost like family. They go above and beyond in a way that's rare to find, and it doesn't go unnoticed. And a special note about Anna... I may have to retire from making my own soups, because hers are honestly some of the best I've ever had. You can tell there's real care and talent behind everything they serve. The head chef deserves major credit as well -- even though I haven't had the chance to meet him yet, the quality speaks for itself. We lived at The Enclave for nearly nine years, and this review is written after a long period of…read moretrying to work collaboratively with management. Unfortunately, our experience over time has been marked by repeated safety, habitability, and quality-of-life issues that were never fully resolved. Over the years, we dealt with car break-ins, lack of security camera coverage, repeated noise disturbances, smoking infiltration affecting asthma, and water damage -- including a cracked pipe that caused significant damage and took weeks to be properly addressed. We also experienced a prolonged period where our garage was unusable due to hazardous gasoline and race car fluid leaking from a neighboring garage. That incident resulted in personal property being damaged and ruined, with no compensation from insurance or management. There were also serious safety incidents in our building, including third-floor squatting, suspected drug activity, and a SWAT intervention and arrest. In April 2025, we requested a wellness check on an elderly resident who was later found deceased. Despite police presence and the removal of a body from the building, automated promotional community messages continued shortly afterward, which felt extremely insensitive and highlighted a lack of situational awareness. Noise issues were a recurring problem. Most recently, starting in October 2025, new tenants in Apartment 305 have a child who runs throughout the day. We contacted the office multiple times and made several noise complaints, but the issue has continued without resolution. After documenting these issues for years and providing a comprehensive, written summary, we requested to end our lease early without penalty, especially given that another tenant in our building (Apartment 208) was previously allowed to do so due to unresolved foundational issues. Management declined our request and would only offer a partial waiver while still requiring us to pay additional days. It's disappointing to spend nearly a decade as responsible, communicative tenants and feel that the cumulative impact of these issues -- particularly safety and habitability -- was not meaningfully considered. We are sharing this experience so future renters can make an informed decision.

Don and Bailey are the current landlords, and they're doing a great job! They keep the place looking clean, they care about doing the little extra things like building in doggy runs for the pups, decorating the pool area, etc. Other things to add about the apartments would be the great location. Easy to hop on the 55/405, and no need to deal with the annoying Triangle traffic because we're just inland from that. TJ Maxx/Home Depot/Stater Bros all super close! Plus dollar tree/post office a block walks away. Many squirrels call The Arbors home and they're hilarious. In general the neighbors are all super friendly. So yea, I'd recommend this place!
