Great place to live! The property manager, Dora, is amazing and handles any issues quickly and efficiently. Also it's a very clean and quiet community. 10/10 would recommend! read more

Had the pleasure of living at Mesa Pines for only a year, and it was truly the best renting experience I've ever had. I only moved out because I bought a place. Dora is an incredible property manager - extremely communicative, friendly, and caring. She genuinely cares about all the residents and wants the best for everyone. The complex itself is also great! Conveniently located near great restaurants, grocery stores, the freeway, and the beach, it really is super close to everything. The one bedroom apartment my boyfriend and I lived in was renovated, quiet, and had everything we needed. If you're looking for a spot in Costa Mesa, definitely consider Mesa Pines. Even if they don't have openings, it's worth getting added to the waitlist. read more

Mesa Pines - Apartments Near Me - Costa Mesa, California

4 memorable years at Mesa Pines - all because of the convenient location, quiet/clean complex and Dora, the property manager. My fiancé and I have had our share of apartment living pre Mesa Pines. We've been through rude property managers, dirty/unkept grounds, horrible neighbors and more. To say we felt relief and contentment when we moved to Mesa Pines is an understatement. Dora is communicative, efficient and most of all empathetic. We felt safe, happy and at home at Mesa Pines. She created a cozy community of friendly, respectful neighbors all while taking care of everyone's needs. You'll be taken care of here :) read more

Only lived here for a few months (unfortunately, life comes at you fast!) BUT this was the first place that my partner and I envisioned committing ourselves to for years: the location and accessibility to sooo many walkable restaurants and fun things to check out/explore; the privacy (especially w/the cozy corner unit we had); the professional and lovely property manager; AND the super warm electric fireplace inside our studio unit was a MUST (the new hardwood flooring throughout the entire unit was a gorgeous update too!) We have been with rude/annoying managers, unsafe/unstable living conditions, etc. in the past BUT Dora was amazing and very very accommodating throughout both the move-in and move-out process as well as very communicative during our short stay there. Anything and everything you need she will do her best to help out (or get fixed herself) as fast as possible. She does her very best at making that community the most livable, and most comfortable home for whatever your specific needs are! Very hard to find nowadays with any other landlord/property manager. Thanks Dora! If you are or someone you know is looking for something cozy and accessible near/in Costa Mesa then hit up Mesa Pines and Dora for a walkthrough and an application, it will definitely be worth it. read more

The apartment that I lived in was by far a land slide the best place I lived in. Super great location! Great lay out. But the thing that made it so cool was the manager - Dora. She is so cool, but at the same time she runs a tight ship. I moved out because I bought a house... so it was my time to bounce. But at the same time when I roll by my old spot I think... damn I miss that place. And its all about Dora, she creates an atmosphere where everyone is cool. Like pumpkin carving contests ... shit like this. Its just fun there... but very quite. This is a small unit complex (maybe like 35 units). So everyone respects each other. If you want a cool apartment that is quite I would jump onto or in this place! Its a rad place! read more

I lived here for 1 year. It is a very quiet apartment with wonderful nature, friendly and helpful manager Dora and neighbors.

I was a resident here for couple years, positive experience. Quiet place to live. Manager Dora was always helpful

This has been hands down my favorite apartment & community to be apart of! It feels like a resort, the property is so well taken care of thanks to Dora and her management! I also felt super safe which was important for me since I was living alone. Also I would go out of town for days and my packages would still be at my door! The apartment was everything I needed, very spacious, has heater & AC, newly remodeled, stainless steel appliances, even has a walk-in closet! Not only was the complex itself amazing, but the location is unbeatable walking distance to groceries, foodie approved restaurants, coffee shops, etc. & 10 min from the beach! If you're considering living here I promise you'll love it! I'm only leaving bc I'm moving to another state but I wish I could stay in Costa Mesa forever! read more

My wife and I absolutely loved our studio apartment at Mesa Pines. The apartment was quiet, the greenery was really nice, and the neighbors are all really kind. Dora was the BEST. Dora is the apartment manager who lives on site, and she's somehow able to be the best professional apartment manager as well as a neighbor friend. The studio was really cozy which updated modern appliances. There's a waitlist and 5 stars on yelp for a good reason. If there's an opening, call Mesa Pine's number and Dora will pick up right away to help you out. read more

We had the pleasure of living at Mesa Pines. We have had the best experience so far. Dora, the manager, is great, she will help you with all your issues (although you won't have any). The location is great, a nice and quiet neighborhood, and everything is so close. We loved it there. read more

Dora is the best landlord I have ever had. She is so kind and goes above and beyond for the residents. She is very clear about costs and timelines. I never felt ignored or pushed aside. Mesa Pines is a quiet, safe community. It's like a little oasis inside the gates. We had a pool view which was nice and never too loud. I would highly recommend Mesa Pines. I already miss living there! read more

I loved living here. The manager dora was such a sweetheart. The few times we had little issues, she handled them quickly and promptly. The parking there was never an issue, the pool is heated and there is a newly renovated hot tub! We never had any problems with any neighbors. This was one of the best experiences I've had with living in an apartment. read more

UPDATE - 10/29/23: I'm updating my review to say that I wish I could give Mesa Pines a zillion stars - five is not enough! I first lived at Mesa Pines between 2015 and 2019, only moving out because I got a job that was too far away for a comfortable commute. Shortly after, the world dissolved into chaos with Covid-19, along with the market for renters! At the tail end of 2021, it was almost impossible to move somewhere new if you were looking to rent. After going through a divorce and suddenly finding myself in need of a place to live, I reached out to Dora to see if there would possibly be a place for me at Mesa Pines. Like the true gem she is, Dora not only understood my situation - she also managed to find me the perfect unit that was in my price range, met my needs, and felt like home. It even came with a small yard for my emotional support dog, which was a massive plus! I also have to give Dora, her team, and Pan American props for creating a community that is diverse, welcoming, and accepting of folks who may need ESAs or service animals without stigma. Every support animal I've met here has been incredibly well-trained, friendly, and respectful. I truly cannot say enough good things about Mesa Pines, and that's all thanks to Dora and her property management skills. If you have an issue - even a minor one - Dora will go above and beyond to get it addressed in a timely manner. The maintenance team here is so wonderful and is fantastic at what they do, whether that's inspecting AC units, repairing fences, or investigating plumbing issues. It's never a "band aid" approach to fixing issues when Dora is in charge - she knows the history of the building from top to bottom and knows how to get things done the first time! She is without a doubt the BEST on-site manager I've ever had. I honestly believe that if Dora were in charge of every apartment complex on earth, we would probably have flying cars and world peace. She's that awesome. In addition, the tenants here are the best! Everyone is very very friendly - you see a lot of familiar faces and people look out for each other. Once people come to Mesa Pines, they tend to stay, because it's VERY hard to leave once you're here!!! I often say that if I could, I would pick Mesa Pines up and transport it to every other place I've wanted to live. I'm not sure of the statistics, but I'd be willing to bet that most folks who leave do so because of new jobs, starting families and requiring more space, or something similar that's unrelated to Mesa Pines itself. We're also in a really fantastic location. There's a bike path right by our cul de sac and a big park (Tanager Park) less than a mile away where lots of families, pups, and children like to play. Mesa Pines is also right off of Harbor, so we're close to lots of shops and restaurants - we have a great tailor and Italian place in the complex right next to us, plus a Vons, post office, and CVS that's a minute away. For those who may have service or support dogs, the Bark Park is a five minute drive away from Mesa Pines if they need to stretch their legs. It really is super centrally located without being jam packed near somewhere like the Triangle. Lastly, I really do feel like the rents I've paid have been reasonable here compared to the market. Rents nationwide have skyrocketed over the past decade and Mesa Pines is no exception to that rule. We do have rent increases, which are sometimes tough to swallow, but are pretty standard for any rental community and for the economy we're living in. You also get quite a bit for what you pay: fully equipped kitchens (mine came with a dishwasher/oven/microwave/fridge), beautiful renovations (hardwood floors/updated cabinets and counters), a wall AC unit, and I believe every unit comes with either a patio or a balcony (with some also having small yards). Maintenance is great about keeping both the pool and the jacuzzi super clean, and there's a community barbecue right by the pool and the laundry room. (Side note: We switched from quarters to an app to pay for laundry a few years ago and it's been a game changer!!!) I have friends who live at a bigger "luxury" apartment complex in the area that shall not be named who are paying hundreds upon hundreds more for their places but who constantly have issues that aren't resolved. I would pick Mesa Pines EVERY time over the mega-complexes that over-promise and under-deliver in terms of amenities. I promise I'm not a shill for Pan American, Dora's secret clone, or otherwise biased. I'm just a girl who stumbled upon the best apartment complex ever, left begrudgingly, and came back because she loved it so much. If you're lucky enough to see a vacancy at Mesa Pines and are thinking about taking a tour - GO FOR IT. You simply can't go wrong! read more

What does it really feel and sound and look like living here at Mesa Pines. Where do I begin.... we moved in on Jan 14th 2017 and were right away greated by Dora and her family-Dora is our landlord- welcoming us to this Diamond of a neighborhood nestled quietly inside the Heart of Costa Mesa. Dora was so caring, sincere and excited for us Moving in. From that first walk under the beautiful tall trees and the well maintained landscape the feeling was one of peace and calm. Then just as nature would have it the family of squirrels were just having fun and were so welcoming and came by and said hello and then went on to play. The sounds of the birds chirping was in sync with the wonderful Southern California breeze that it was so harmonious and pleasant to our ears. Upon entering our apartment home it was exactly that nice high ceilings, a wonderful patio with extra space and a wonderful kitchen. Now let's talk about the amenities. The pool is heated and the Jacuzzi is always perfect temperature. And right next to the pool is a super nice gas BBQ and next to that is the most quaint and cleanest laundry room I have ever seen and used. This past year has been the best rental living I have ever experienced and this all comes down to the relentless management of Dora and her true love for this property were she and her wonderful family live also and take pride and it shows by the amazing community she has created. It is truly an extraordinary neighborhood with amazing neighbors and it is a true home and sanctuary. Recommend living here to have a safe and peaceful place you can start your next journey. read more

I lived in one of the ground floor studio apartments on my own for one year at Mesa Pines, and really enjoyed my experience! This complex is small and very quiet, which is much different than most other Costa Mesa apartment complexes. I never had any major maintenance issues, and all requests were fulfilled very quickly. Parking is great, and there were always plenty of spots for my guests as well. Never ran into any issues with deliveries as well, your packages are safe on your doorstep here! The property manager Dora is wonderful, and really does a great job beyond her official job description by fostering community within the complex. I had to move due to a job change, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Mesa Pines and would give this complex my highest recommendation to anyone in the rental market. read more

I lived in Mesa Pines for about 14 years, and had the wonderful experience of growing up there. It's an awesome place for children and families, and really anyone that's looking for a quiet, well-kept, and fun place to live. I've lived in two different one-bedroom units and a two-bedroom unit, and we found moving/upgrading to be really easy and enjoyed experiencing the different layouts. We took full advantage of the pool/hot tub, laundry room, BBQ area, and garage/parking while we were there, and there's a lot of open space within the complex so that it doesn't ever feel cramped or dark like a lot of other complexes do. It's also in a great location, with lots of food places on Harbor Blvd nearby, the OC Fair within walking distance over the summer, and a nice walking/biking path that runs right by Harla Avenue. In regards to the manager... Dora is absolutely AMAZING!! Her and her family are super kind and thoughtful, and she really puts in the effort to get to know every single resident and check up on how they're doing. We're going to miss them all so much! Dora also cares about creating a strong community vibe and hosts events (pre-Covid, of course) at the pool over the summer and other events around the holidays. She's super helpful and empathetic when it comes to maintenance, affordability, keeping the complex clean, etc. I've lived in and visited a lot of different apartment complexes around Orange County, and have grown increasingly frustrated at the flashy, expensive, and often poorly-constructed complexes popping up by the Irvine Company and others like it. This complex is nothing like that, and is a wonderful place to live if you're looking for real community and affordability. Couldn't recommend it highly enough!! read more

After living at Mesa Pines for 6 years, my husband and I have moved on. It's definitely a bittersweet move as Mesa Pines was the best apartment complex we've ever lived at. This was mainly due to the fact that Dora continues to be the best manager. She truly does everything she can to make Mesa Pines home for all her residents. Everything that I wrote in my previous review, I still stand by. You won't regret choosing Mesa Pines. We loved our experience there and have Dora to thank for that. Thank you, Dora! We will really miss you and the community! read more

I've been living at Mesa Pines for about six months now and I'd like to tell you why this small community is awesome. Mesa Pines is a small and quiet kept little secret in Costa Mesa. Management keeps this place in check and that's why we love it here. The grounds stay quiet. There are no college like loud parties ever. I never see the police around for trouble. We all pretty much know each other because there are only about 30 units. I believe there are only two families with young children. The rest of us are college aged, business focused young adults on up to elderly adults. We all have our own parking spot and/or garage. We all respect each other. ***AND everyone here obeys the rules! I am thankful that everything that needs to go through management in this community is ran electronically. Applications got through online. Payments go through online. Maintenance requests go through online. I know I can send Dora (our amazing manager by the way) if there is an emergency and she always gets back to me that same day! The grounds are kept neat and clean so I am happy to invite guests over. The gardening is kept up with beautiful florals and the pool area is always tempting. Most of all, I love that the living ground area is gated because it makes me feel a little more safe. There is usually a waiting list to get in so move fast. Negotiating rent rates won't work here. What you see is what you get. So... If you are looking for a clean, classy, cozy home like feeling quiet place, Mesa Pines is worth a look. I LOVE it here!! read more

This is simply the best place I have ever lived. The entire complex is very well architected, quiet peaceful and clean. The management is very friendly and my unit has a great layout with plenty of natural light. I would recommend anyone to come visit and take a walk around to see for yourselves! It's also centrally located and reasonably priced for the area. Plus, there are plenty of great food options close by. I just signed another lease and I'm looking forward to another great year at Mesa Pines :) read more

My wife and I had the pleasure of knowing Dora and her family since we moved into our wonderful 1 bedroom apartment early 2016. Our unit was actually directly across from Dora's, and people would always ask what it is like living right next to the manager and we've been able to tell them it's been great! Dora is a proactive and super responsive manager, and we liked that she'd take the initiative to set up social and awareness events for the complex to promote community and safety. The community was well maintained, and it has been great calling Mesa Pines home for the past three years. My wife and I built a lot of fond memories in that apartment, and will definitely miss it. Thank you, Dora!! read more

Mesa pines is the first apartment that my husband and I found and moved into together, and its become a special place in our heart because of our experience with our neighbors and our apartment manager Dora. We lived there for almost 3 years and moved in the midst of the pandemic. We were scared we wouldn't find a good studio apartment bc we've heard horror stories about other apartments, from bug infestations to broken toilets without any (or delayed) manager intervention. However, Dora was different! In the 3 years we lived there, every maintenance call was answered immediately. The park is a 5-8 minute stroll (ask about the bike trail!) and the peaceful mornings on our patio among the trees were our favorite. The only reason we moved out was because we found a bigger place (from studio to 1b1b) that worked within our budget. The apartment isn't perfect: we had stray cats roam the apartment grounds in the past, our upstairs neighbors seemed to like to tap dance, we've had shady people from the neighboring motel try to slip onto the property, but I have to say even with all of these inconveniences Dora did her utmost to manage everything where she could. And though the apartment wasnt perfect, we enjoyed modern appliances for a studio, responsive and sensible manager, and great neighbors that looked our for each other. read more

Best complex I have ever lived in! Everyone here is very nice and respectful. Dora is the best property manager I have had and genuinely cares about the people that live here. I have visited my BF here for the past two years and we will now be moving into a new location as we are buying a home and getting married. I will definitely miss this apartment. The surrounding greenery is nice, always landscaped and manicured and it is walking distance from a small park with a jogging trail. It is also close to Newport back bay and beautiful beaches. The laundry room is always available and clean. The apartment itself is cute and open with newly renovated kitchen. Neighbors are quiet and friendly for the most part. read more

My husband and I have loved living at Mesa Pines! It's a very well maintained, small and quiet complex. Our unit was great and was the prefect size for us. It had a decent sized patio too that we were able to have a patio dining set and garden on. The complex manager Dora is very friendly, helpful and attentive. She keeps the complex in great shape. We always felt safe and really enjoyed our time living here. We highly recommend Mesa Pines! read more

I lived here for two years and couldn't be happier. Apartment is very nice with a breezy balcony for chilling during hot days, maintenance request are promptly dealt with, neighbors are not noisy, assigned parking, plenty of laundry machines for such a small complex and a lot of good restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Very close to the 405 and the 55 and only 10-15min to the beach! Dora the property manager is the best part of the complex. She's always on top of everything and is also a great neighbor. You wouldn't get that "big property management company" feeling with her so you have that peace of mind that if something goes wrong she's going to take care of it asap. You're not just another number here. There's also a very nice park ~5min away (walking) where you can go jog, ride a bike, play ball, etc. Golf course is also super close if you're into that. Really can't go wrong with Mesa Pines. read more

This review is solely based on a tour and initial leasing inquiry. Even though I have to rent elsewhere because my budget is tight right now, I felt compelled to leave a review for Dora who is the manager at this property. She replied promptly to my online inquiry about their apartments, she greeted me outside, she was very nice, answered all my questions about the apartment and explained everything I needed to know. She followed up with an email next day and was really nice and offered to help in case I decided to move to Mesa Pines. From what I've seen during the tour, the grounds are clean, trees and grass nicely maintained, plenty of parking, quiet community although the location is close to major streets of Costa Mesa which is convenient. The unit itself was spacious, no weird smells, new carpet, there was a fireplace in the 1bedroom I was shown. Thank you Dora, you are awesome! read more

I've lived in apartment communities in Orange County and LA for the past 10 years and I've never had such an amazing experience as I did at Mesa Pines. The property manager, Dora, is absolutely incredible. She takes the time to get to know all of the residents and really cares about anything you have to say about your experience while living there. She goes out of her way to make this place beautiful, peaceful, and just amazing to live in. You really get a sense of community here, as the property is smaller than most corporate-sized apartment complexes, and the neighbors are really friendly. I miss Dora and living in Mesa Pines! All of the positive reviews are real - I didn't think they would be until I had the pleasure of living here. Seriously a hidden gem in Costa Mesa, and I have Dora to thank for my experience! read more

When I googled, "how to find affordable housing in Orange County" my computer punched me in the face and laughed at me. A chart came up telling me that I was "very poor." What followed was panic and dismay. When I found Mesa Pines on Yelp and saw the reviews I thought there is no way this place is in our budget. My boyfriend and his mom met with a woman named Dora, the property manager. She showed him the property and the available apartment. He was excited. And when we found out the price we were extremely relieved. It's not cheap by any means, but it was not extremely overpriced like the rest of the apartments we'd looked at with only moderate reviews. We moved in in January. I can honestly say my time at Mesa Pines has been THE best experience at any property. Dora is extremely attentive. The property always looks professionally cared for. When we've had even the slightest issue with a door handle or light fixture she is on top of it. She listens! She is also kind and funny and wonderful to be around. The community at Mesa Pines is also delightful. We say hi to one another. Occasionally we will even have gatherings on the property that are tons of fun! I lived in Mesa Pines for over 3 years. I recently purchased a new home and just moved out. I have to admit, I miss it at Mesa Pines. :) I lived in a one bedroom unit and I absolutely loved it. Lots of storage space, walk in closet, hardwood floors, spacious front patio and back patio. I also had a one car garage, it was just wonderful! Everything is open and it's almost got a "Melrose Place" feel to it. And as a woman, I always felt very safe. VERY IMPORTANT! The apartment complex is clean and the people are friendly. The lawns and landscaping are carefully tended to each week. If you ever need anything fixed, it is usually done that day or the next day, always quick. The manager of this apartment complex was truly one of the best apartment managers I have had. She is very attentive to residents' needs and always makes sure that everything is taken care of. This complex is what it is b/c of the management of this property. I highly highly recommend this apartment complex. It's affordable but really feels like a community. You don't need to talk to everyone, but you know that everyone is looking out for each other. I heart you Mesa Pines! read more

I have lived at Mesa Pines for six months, and the only reason I'm moving out is because I need to find a place for myself, my younger brother, and my older brother. They need to be close to work/school so I'm sacrificing for their needs. Otherwise, I would stay here. Dora is the best...you send her an email, she responds within a day, but almost always within a few hours. The apartments are well maintained, the grounds are nice, and it's QUIET! I can't recall one party being thrown here, only because everyone is so understanding of their neighbors. Parking is great - I've never had trouble finding a spot. Honestly, if you're looking for something fancy or exquisite, look elsewhere (and pay a lot more). Mesa Pines is about getting a great apartment for well-priced rent, given the proximity to Newport Beach. Look at all the reviews before me - this place is legit and Dora doesn't tolerate tenants that don't respect the others in the community. read more

I've lived at Mesa Pines Apartments for almost 3 years, the longest that I've been in one place for some time! This is a great place to live. Mesa Pines is a smaller-sized complex with only a little over 40 units, so it doesn't have that huge complex feel (which I love). Dora the manager has helped to make this community have a great friendly atmosphere. She will occasionally have BBQ gatherings to help the residents get acquainted with each other, and everyone is very friendly. The premises is beautiful with large trees and green grassy knolls. The maintenance staff and gardeners do a good job of keeping it looking nice. The complex is always quiet. Parking is never a problem. The laundry room is almost always available, and the machines are always working just fine. The units themselves are pretty decent. I have the larger of the studio apartments that they offer, and everyone who sees my apartment really likes it. The layout is really interesting, which helps, and the fireplace is a nice touch. I'm very happy here, and have met some great people. The complex itself is in an excellent location! Everything is close to here...much of it within walking or biking distance. It's just minutes from Huntington Beach, South Coast Plaza, Triange Square and Newport Beach. It's a stone throw away from the OC Fairground and OCC, and less than a mile from the 405 fwy. read more

I've lived at Mesa Pines for 3 years. It was the first apartment I've ever lived in. This place is small (about 40 units) is lush with trees, and very peaceful. I lived in a one bedroom with hardwood floors, with a front patio and a small backyard. I also shared a two car garage with another resident. They have washers and dryers onsite, which is always nice. Dora, the onsite manager, is great! She gave me her cell phone number, and I was able to text or e-mail her whenever I had a maintenance request or had an issue. My unit was adjacent to the ghetto Prada Pointe apartments. I had a few issues with the tenants living behind my unit. The kids egged my unit and a couple of other units, they would also throw garbage into my back patio. I let Dora know and she immediately responded by contacting the manager at Prada Pointe. I really liked how responsive she was whenever something happened. She makes sure everything is in order and will respond quickly whenever there is a problem. Thanks for everything, Dora! :D Overall, Mesa Pines is great and I loved living there. Why only 4 stars? I knocked off a star because I didn't like the annual rent increases. I know Dora has nothing to do with that, it all depends on the market and the owners. I had a $100 rental increase last year and this year they wanted to raise my rent $75. I think the increases are pretty steep and not something I could easily absorb. If it wasn't for the rental increases you better believe I'd still be living at Mesa Pines. read more

We stayed at Mesa Pines from fall 2012 to fall 2014, and we loved it there! The only reason we left was job relocation to a different state. The grounds are always clean, well lit, and tidy. Parking is never a problem for residents (and the occasional guests). Dora, the property manager, lives on site, so you know she has a vested interest in making sure the residents are happy and the area is clean. She's always efficient in returning emails, and if there's ever a problem, she'll have someone over to fix it asap. She's one of the biggest reasons we chose Mesa Pines! We found out when we gave our notice that they were planning to renovate our unit, and we're so jealous of whoever gets to live there after us! Enjoy your time at Mesa Pines, because we sure will miss this place! read more

I lived in a studio in this complex for about two years, and it was a delight from start to finish! Dora was courteous, responsible, and transparent about everything from the start. She makes sure the residents are always informed about what's going on in the complex and is very prompt about answering questions or arranging for maintenance to fix issues. Mesa Pines is a quiet, cozy apartment complex just off Harbor, and it's a great midway point for lots of great spots in Costa Mesa, Newport, and Huntington Beach. It's safe, comfortable, and full of friendly residents. It's within walking distance to Orange Coast College, which saved me a lot of gas as a student there, and a very short drive from Target, Vons, etc. I'm glad I ended up staying here during my first two years living in Orange County, which I've fallen in love with, and I'm hoping there will be lots of future residents who find a home here as well! read more

Before moving to California, I did some research to what apartment complex would be the best option for us, when I was about to give up, Mesa Pines popped up and I had a wow face, not because of the pictures, but because of the reviews! I got in contact with Dora, which by the way, she is amazing, answered all of my questions and kept in touch to inform me that an apartment was available. As soon as we arrived to our new home State, we came to confirm that all those reviews were legit....well I fell in love with everything! From the fact that there's plenty of room to park inside the complex, to the vaulted ceilings of the second floor units. It is a small complex (which I love) so there's not as much amenities as the gigantic complexes, but its quiet, safe, it has enough parking a pool, a jacuzzi, enough parking a laundry room, did I mention ENOUGH PARKING and Dora sure does a great job by keeping this cozy place clean! We are excited about being part of Mesa Pines! read more

As far apartments go, I don't think any one deserves a 5 star rating more than Mesa Pines. I've been in a one-bedroom, first floor apartment for nearly a year now and I haven't looked back. It's a small complex, but it is laid out in a fashion that feels both open and secure at the same time -- and coming from a small town in the Midwest, this really is a major plus. It's very quiet here (which I like) and I haven't bumped into anyone who I couldn't strike up a chat with. The grounds are very well kept with gardeners coming each week. And the management is also keen to trim trees and clean out gutters, but that's not the only thing I have to say about them... Dora is great! She is an apartment manager that truly cares about her complex and the well-being of her tenants. Maintenance requests are handled in the blink of an eye and she is always proactive on looking out for problems. And not only that, she's incredibly welcoming, fun, and energetic -- even goes the extra mile to host community barbecues and Christmas parties. The units themselves are great.
