Services can be booked easily over the phone or from their website and they send a reminder text confirming your appointment which is super helpful!! My favourite type of nail service is with the Solar Powder line (see red / green nails in photos attached) which appear like literal glass on your hands, are super durable and are able to be formed to your nail bed into any desired shape. I used a nail extension as a tip then the solar powder on top and the gel colour for the top coat which has helped my otherwise weak nails to grow out while providing reliable beautiful strong nails that I can rely on working with various equipment/machinery/tools and cleaning supplies at my job. They are almost always right on schedule and cause clients to wait long, oftentimes even starting earlier than scheduled if their staff are free and have been willing to book on the same day which was very appreciated when I broke a nail while at work. Their bathroom, furniture, and all equipment/tools are kept super clean and the salon as a whole is tidy and well taken care of. Most times the space is accompanied by diverse music and lively conversations, though you're welcome to listen to your own music/audiobooks/other with your headphones. I personally prefer keeping my sunglasses on during my appointments as the lights and light coloured walls/tables are bright for me which has never been an issue to accommodate.

One day, we heard one of my client said “If I could not work on my nails and feet, I feel like my live missing something. It wasn't very busy which is sometimes a concern when going to a new place. But on the bright side, I didn't have to wait. I made myself comfortable in the big massaging chair while the esthetician ran the water in the foot bowl. She did a great job of removing my calluses and I love it when she massaged my calves. That's always a highlight of any pedicure for me. I usually bring my own polish because I have so many colors. Calgary Nails & Spa has a pretty large selection on the wall so I'm sure you'll find a color you like. They do artificial nails and waxing here, too. Prices are very reasonable. The lady did a very good job of my pedicure. My toes look great! Everyone seemed very friendly and attentive. I wouldn't hesitate to go back here again.

A friend of a friend recommended Victoria Nails and Spa for cheap waxing. Knowing the facade and…read morethe location, and trusting her wisdom, I booked a full-leg wax here without asking the price. When I went to pay I found out that they charged $55- definitely the "industry standard" for the same service in a much nicer location. Victoria Nails and Spa is NOT a good budget choice for waxing. The treatment itself went okay- one woman started using roll-on wax (of which I'm not a fan), and a second woman came in midway, scolded her and the two of them went to work applying the wax with a wooden "spatula" (better for accurate application and, based on the look of the salon, more hygienic). The linens and towels didn't look super-clean, but I'm not sure how much of that was just due to their old age. The waxers weren't particularly friendly and I got the impression they wanted to rush me in and out (despite the fact that when I booked the appointment I said I could come anytime and they could schedule me where it was best for them). I can't comment on their nail services, but I definitely recommend that people seeking waxing go to a nicer salon, where you can get similar (or better) service for the same price.

I'm not usually one to complain, but I was asked to go sit in a chair after a lady had just gotten up and the acrylic dust was everywhere and the tools were not cleaned. someone had been asked to come sit in my spot which also hadn't been cleaned, it felt dirty, rushed and unorganized, not the after work relaxed nail experience I was hoping for. I then watched a lady get up from getting her feet done for over an hour, and the lady that did her nails gave the tub one quick spray and called it a day. I felt very rushed out of there. with my schedule, I usually book an hour before I close at nail salons and I thought that I would have enough time as they usually do a cleanup. They wanted me out of there so quick they all stood around, watching me get my nails done waiting for the gentleman to be finished doing them which I didn't love having everyone hanging over me.Than they all left together, while I waited outside in the cold for my ride to come because they risked me out. They did not mop they did not clean the tables. They did not thank me. They were very uninviting for it being my first time.. the price was good, but I will not be going back. Customers are very observant. Especially in an atmosphere that they are used to. Please make sure you are cleaning your tools, tubs and tables and floors.
