She offered suggestions and gave me my space to browse. The shop also offers a point earning system (discounts) which adds an incentive to buy more which is cool. I actually live close to Absolutely Beautiful Hair, another hair supply shop located in Oxnard. Another business I encourage you to support. However, Olive has more selection. I bought a 32 ounce bottle of Abba moisture shampoo and when I got home I noticed there was no seal on the bottle , just the cap. I have purchased this product elsewhere and there is always an internal seal in place. I contacted the store the day after purchase and they said I would have to return it that day if I wanted to return it after me telling them that I would be unable to return it as I was out of town for five days. They also said it came from the manufacturer that way which leads me to believe they are not buying from the manufacturer as I contacted the Pure Abba Company and they assured me that an internal seal should be in place since once opened product is only good for 12 months. Also if there is no internal seal anything could be added to the product or it could be watered down. I will not purchase here again as I would rather pay for shipping from the company itself. read more

Spent the morning searching for a Wahl clipper and the lady WOULD NOT sell them to me because in her professional opinion as a clerk she thought that they were the wrong ones for me. The owner is very rude and unprofessional sells cheap hair for expensive prices, swaps hair quality and gives you cheap for expensive sheddy what's supposed to be 100 percent human hair!! Anyway I came by this tretrorous store to give it another go witch I shouldn't of, anyway I had a wedding to go to and stopped here for a quick half wig, both the owner and new employee help me with my final selected wig! He "packages it up" I get home and it's a really short wig!! I call them before closing to try and fix the issue witch I should know btr with this cheap o! So basically he admits he thought I wanted the short one and that thats the one he packaged witch he didn't he messed up but wasn't willing to swallow it!! I loved coming here and buying my eyelashes at a fair price, but now they are the same price if I go to Sally Beauty Supply :(. I still LOVE this store because the owners are good people. I stumbled into Olive Beauty looking for wig making supplies and was greeted by the most helpful people. I needed help making a wig for my friend going through chemo. The people at Olive Beauty were very compassionate and made sure I had everything I needed to help my friend in need. They spent a lot of time with me during my several visits during the process and even gave me a 10% discount because it was for a cancer patient. In establishment I was called a liar after given the wrong hair. There is no way they allow customers behind the counter to get hair. And we took the hair we wanted I to the store for a match of what we previously had purchased there to ensure we got the right weave hair. Not only was I given the wrong hair, I was called a liar when I reminded the owner she gave me the hair. What happened to fair customer service. I ended up buying another pkg of hair and very upset.
