Electric car charging? Mini split AC? Everything is beautiful, everything works, and we're super happy with the end result. Is it perfect? No. Is anything ever perfect? Also no. Has every inspector or tradesman we've hired made an unsolicited comment on the build quality? Yes. Has that happened to our friends or family? No, definitely not with this unprompted consistency. While we have some settlement problems with the flooring, issues with some appliances, some scraping on the balcony doors, and the drainage pump should have used waterproof wing nuts (also the float valves easily get caught), overall it's a supremely complex 5 story build with stellar results. We are remodeling our master suite on our new house we just bought. And I only wanted Carrera Marble. Unfortunately, our tile installer said Marble isn't a good selection for a steam shower. So I had to buy porcelain tile for the walls and ceiling. But I could use Carrera marble tile for the shower pan floor and slab Carrera Mable for the bench seating. Have always received good reliable advice and recommendations from different staffs on tiles, LVP's and carpet. It has been several years we are still SUPER PLEASED with the amazing Italian tiles we used for our woodstove hearth and the laminate vinyl planks for my kitchen floor. The kitchen floor is slightly sloped in an uneven way the guy who helped us knew his LVPs and he even used the same product and answered all our concerns for the slope issue. Several years later, the LVP is still on perfectly and you couldn't tell there's a slope on the floor. The one he suggested sidestepped the problem and he was right! As for the Italian tiles, we get so many compliments on our wood stove area and we used the tile remnant for some homemade furniture piece for a friend it turned out so gorgeous. They have some really cool designs that most places don't have. They let us really take the time to decide too I never feel pressured here they are so laid back. Prices are very decent here too! This is something we refuse to buy online or at chain hardware stores. We came to learn the product you get here is way more superior and inadvertently, you end up getting good tips and advice since we install ourselves. We haven't been back for awhile and the staff remembered my husband. He could sense we just wanted to browse so we just took our sweet time and the staffs didn't hover over us. When we are good and ready, they were beyond helpful. Today, we were just there for carpet remnants for our stepvan remodel. They have a decent selection and what really prompt me to write the review was how COMPLETELY FLOORED we were when they told us the price. Probably less than what I would of paid online. It's 1/4 of what I had in mind so you get the picture! For the amazing deal, I am thinking why not redo the living room carpet!
