We bought a new house and basically furnished almost the entire house with his furniture, which he restored (extremely beautifully!!!) for us and delivered them perfectly. We were honestly speechless by the customer service we got. And the pieces he recommended were just spot on and everything fit so perfectly and so beautifully with our new place. The Lion's Den really has some treasures. Had we furnished our place anywhere else, the cost would have been at least 3 to 5 times more. We have become lifetime customers and even friends now. Trust me, we are going to be recommending his store up and down to any of our friends who need furniture or wood restoration work. Thank you so much Lion, we are so grateful we found you and for the amazing work you did for us. 10 GOLD STARS!

Both Lion and Renee are the most wonderful humans and helped bring my vision to life. The dresser is a stunning green and I asked Lion if he could add some gold handles for me (totally let him take the wheel on that) -- super pleased with the result. The night stand was a deep cherry color before and I asked if he could refurbish it and paint it a dark teal for an additional cost. It came out amazing and I couldn't be happier with how it came out. I would without a doubt purchase from them again.

I am very confused about the so-so reviews here, but okaaay…read more I had a series of talks with Henry (the owner/manager), and it's clear he cares more about enduring relationships and people feeling like they got a quality chair at a fair price, than just fleecing customers. There are a lot of overpriced furniture places. I found the quality of their products to be very high, and prices were not listed because they discount with volume. The showroom in NYC (Brooklyn), also, was a boon. I spoke with an on-site designer and was able to actually customize some chairs for an interior decorator client of mine. I would recommend anybody go to The Chair Market.

The Chair Factory has a large "covid 19 sale" banner out front but when I visited the salesman I talked to refused to wear a mask stating that "he had already had covid" even as cases are on the rise all over the country, unnecessarily endangering the lives of his customers. He seemed put off when I then asked we stand 6 feet apart. This behavior goes beyond inconsiderate and enters the territory of reckless and terrifying. Do not shop here if you value your life. As a reminder, we are in the middle of a pandemic, we wear masks for the safety of others not for ourselves, even if you have endured COVID it is possible to get it again. Luis and his family are very educated, dignified and transparent in their business and interpersonal transactions. They eagerly share their vast knowledge and do not pressure or hustle you in any way, shape or form. I felt so relaxed I thought I was talking to a well reknowned art curator at the Metropolitan Museum. They realize that estate or antiques sales more often than not brings emotions to the forefront. They do not take advantage of this sentimental inclination. Their amazing comprehensive command of period design, architecture, artistinal manufacturing, contemporary and traditional art, collectibles, multicultural symbolism, recent market and taste trends is stunning. Further, Junior has a warm sincere manner when speaking to anybody in the family from children, cynical adults or otherwise vulnerable elderly members. Bedford is a classic "mom and pop" shop that has a deeply rooted human touch lacking in more grandiose, faceless commercial institutions. Such small businesses must be venerably cherished as they are protected by local and federal entities. Excellent all the way !

So I wandered into Joybird just to get an idea of what is out there. I spoke with Eugenia over the phone before heading over and she was really sweet. Upon entering the Showroom I first noticed a stunning gold velvet couch in the front window; Mid Century Modern, with a gorgeous MCM chair across from it. I have never been a huge fan of MCM but my husband is. After chatting at length with a different Saleswoman named Jane I ended up ordering the Mid Century Modern sofa bed in gold velvet, along with the floor model MCM chair, also in a gold toned fabric. The chair fit perfectly in my car so I excitedly drove it home. The chair looks fabulous in our living room and I am actually in LOVE with Mid Century Modern now! Can't wait for our made to order Sofa Bed to arrive. Jane was really great about guiding me through the process of choosing the right pieces. I started to order a different style of couch but at the last second my instincts prompted me to go with that gorgeous MCM piece. Jane was very patient and cordial with me even though they were trying to close. Her Customer Service is excellent! But MOST of the Reviews are positive and I'm confident that my experience will remain positive. Looking forward to enjoying our beautiful pieces for many years.
