If you're looking for a fun place to enjoy live music and some food come check out Ol Red's. Walking in the staff are so nice and welcoming. We wandered around checking out the different levels and enjoying the artwork in the stairwell. Go check it out! It was all very well done. The artist playing was very good. We enjoyed listening to the music for a while. I just wish they still had line dance lessons. I definitely want to come back and try the food.

Welcome To Ole Red Las Vegas!

After enjoying my wife's leftover nachos the next day--and finding them genuinely amazing--I had high hopes for Ole Red's AYCE Honey Bee Brunch at $29.99. I knew the price point would mean a limited menu, but given how good those nachos were, I figured whatever they put out would still be solid. In the end, it was just okay (and that's being a little generous). We arrived around 11:30 on a Sunday. They were out of coffee because the machine was broken, so anything coffee-related was off the menu. Toward the end of the meal, I overheard our server telling another table they'd run out of eggs. Running out of eggs during a brunch service isn't a small oversight--it's poor food management. Atmosphere-wise, though, the place is really nice. There was a live duet playing country hits, and we had a fantastic view of the Bellagio fountains. It was mid-October, so the weather was pleasant, but not every table is fully covered. If you're sensitive to the sun, it's worth factoring in. The Bananas Foster French Toast was good, but nothing special. The caramel syrup was sweet and gooey, though the banana slices were sparse. The brioche came cut into four slices and was on the lighter side, which was nice because it left room to try other items. The Brisket Hash was decent, especially with the hot sauce (I'm pretty sure it was Tapatio). The brisket and scrambled eggs were both sparse and overcooked. Instead of a more traditional corned-beef-hash-style scramble, the potatoes came as large fried potato balls that seemed to have cheese in them. They were okay but heavy and filling. The Smash Burger was also decent, but it wasn't really smashed--it wasn't super flat and lacked the crispy, lacy edges you'd expect. The garlic aioli was spread a bit thin, and it came with more of those same filling fried potato balls. The fruit bowl is served in a martini glass, which is a fun touch. It's mostly melon and cantaloupe and works well as a palate cleanser between the heavier dishes. The cinnamon roll is advertised as fresh and made in-house, so I had high hopes. It wasn't a complete miss, but it also wasn't particularly fresh. The edges were dry, the cinnamon was sparse, and overall it reminded me of a supermarket cinnamon roll. It has a long way to go before it's even in the same conversation as Cinnabon. I'd definitely go back to Ole Red--I'd just stick to the regular menu.

Ole Red is an amazing bar I was able to visit on my last night in Vegas! Their DJ played the best music out of all the bars I visited and was finally able to dance the way I wanted. I do have to save to say that the service is pretty slow. It's a busy bar and if you don't get the bartenders attention, you'll be waiting a bit. Also for the pitcher of water, once it runs out you're gonna have to wait a minute in order to get some more water.

This is supposed to be 3 cage free eggs.

We were excited to try ole red. We've passed by it many times and recently they came out with the honey brunch buffet. We waited in line to get in for about 30 minutes and got in about 1pm. That's an hour before their cutoff time. The waiter asks what we'll be having and we say brunch. He takes away the regular menu and says he'll be back. Comes back 15 minutes later with our drinks and takes our order. Another 20 minutes and our first plates come out. This is when he mentioned we better eat fast because the cutoff time is 2pm. We finished and waited for him to return which took another 15 minutes. By this time it's about 10 minutes before 2. He comes back and asks what we'll have and doesn't come back a little after 2. He brought our plates and the check and that was the last we saw of him. It took basically a whole hour to get 2 plates. And the service wasn't terrible it just wasn't there. They let us in knowing how to pace our meals so that we didn't get more food. It was extremely slow. The breakfast burger I had was ok except the egg was solid and not runny at all. In my second serving I got the brunch combo that comes with 3 cage free eggs. They must've been pigeon eggs because they were tiny. Kidding about the pigeon eggs but seriously? Anyways save your money and go somewhere else if you want value. I would like to try the regular menu because it seemed to me that they were treated better by the waiter just from my observation. Disappointed.

Redneck Nachos

While in Vegas and out walking around we stopped here for lunch. There was a good singer on stage named LexiLou. She sang some great country covers and took requests. We were seated at a table about 3 tables back from the stage. The sound of good. I orderd a smashburger and my husband got the Redneck Nachos. My burger was cooked nicely and it was flavorful and juicy. The side of fries were hot and fresh. The nachos in my opinion were a little soggy but the crisp ones were good. We had chicken on ours. The atmosphere was great and we would definitely come back k. The inside lights were red tinted so my pictures aren't very appealing.

Veggie burger and tots

Blake & Gwen - how do you stand for Stouffer's Mac & cheese to be served and not something homemade? And I'm not exaggerating. The server told me this explicitly. In fact, the server said the chef's hands are tied preventing him from cooking real down home Southern homemade cooking because "corporate" won't allow it. That's so not ok! I did learn the tots were one of the few home made items and indeed they were delicious. I'm also told the salmon sandwich is the chefs only creation on the menu and it's supposed to be good. Other than this, it's a fabulous venue for country music. Your floors and excellent sound quality. We went for a NSR party and saw Kenny's band. The sound is so amazing plus the extra large screens everywhere so you can easily see the band. Id return to drink and listen to music. Do yourself a favor and eat elsewhere.

It's not cheap here. The drinks and food are overpriced, it I still stop here on each visit to to Vegas because they always have great, fun, bands. It's like having a Nashville experience without having to go to Nashville. Servers/employees have always been great each time I stop in here.

First time here. Celebrated bachelorette with a group of 7. Got here around 7 on a Friday and it was popping. We ended up on the 4th floor with a great view of the Bellagio. Service was great considering how busy it was. On the first floor was a live band. Food was great with big portions for the price. Drinks were good but of course, expect the high LV strip prices. Overall, Definitely would come back here as a local.

This is a great place to visit, great food, great atmosphere and the service from Trina was the best. Nachos are massive and plenty to share.

It's crazy how something new pops up and you didn't even know about it. I love Vegas and visit it quite often but this was the first time I've seen or even heard about this place...lol... We were walking from the Bellagio and wanted something to drink and enjoy the sun. Crossing the bridge over to another place is when we notice this place. Wow, I didn't even know it was here or how long it has been opened. Walked in to see what it was all about and was greeted with the hostess. We mentioned we just wanted a drink on the rooftop if they had one. Yes they did and she guided us to the elevator for the top floor. The place is three stories with the Main Street level hosting the stage and dance floor. We started from the middle and from there you can look down to the stage and dance floor. Elevator to the top host another bar as well as the outdoor open air dining. Quite nice as it looks out to the strip. There's mister to help with the heat. We just wanted drinks so we ended up sitting at the bar. The two bartender working were the sweetest. One was Kristina, Very friendly and welcoming. Lively attitude which shows their sweet personality. They were dolls. Didn't have any food but some of the things we seen come out looked quite nice. Just sticking to drinks. It's Vegas so the drinks were a given with the higher price. Besides that, we were sitting next to a gentleman who later was one of the performers on the stage. While we were there, two singers were on stage and a third that was someone who just went up to sing. I think they were all friends. The place was quite fun, it did pick up later when we were about to leave on the rooftop. A nice spot for a drink and enjoying the strip. Can't rate food as we didn't have any. Drinks, cans were pretty pricey. Overall it was nice. When the bill came, there was an entertainment fee which we wasn't expecting but I guess since there was singer on stage. Didn't even know there was going to be a singer. Plus side, they had outlets under the bar counter ti charge your phone.

My daughter and I were really excited to check this place out because it's hyped up as an excellent venue with a great atmosphere and rooftop experience. Unfortunately, what we experienced was the complete opposite. First, we waited an entire hour just to get inside. Then, after finally making it upstairs to the rooftop, we were seated, given menus, and ordered a couple of beers. The beers came fairly quickly, so we thought maybe things were finally going to turn around. Nope. After placing our food order, we sat there waiting and waiting...and waiting. Over an hour went by and our food never showed up. We watched other tables around us experience the same ridiculous service. The couple sitting next to us had already been there for over an hour and were still waiting for their food. At that point, I was completely done. I looked at my daughter and said, "Let's just pay for the beers and get the hell out of here." So let's recap: 1 hour waiting just to get in Over 1 hour waiting for food that never came $50 for two beers Absolutely horrible service We came expecting a great experience and left feeling like we had completely wasted our time and money. $30 buffet? Not even close to worth it. The food never even made it to our table. The atmosphere might look great, and the place might get plenty of hype, but great views and a fancy rooftop mean absolutely nothing when the service is this terrible. Worst service ever. Save yourself the frustration.

I have visited the Nashville location in the past and was excited to finally get a chance to visit the Las Vegas one. The Atmosphere and Energy are the same great live music, good food, the wait staff are attentive and fast moving. The Buffalo Chicken Empanadas I still dream about . I'm not big on horse radish and thats all you could taste with the Brussels sprouts . The prices are fair for being on the Las Vegas strip . Nothing in Las Vegas on the strip is really a good deal anymore at least you get a free show while you eat here though

The food at Ole Red is SO amazing! We ordered the Trash Talkin' Taco Salad and OMG--it was a bomb! The portion is HUGE and definitely perfect for two people to share. So flavorful and satisfying! This is definitely something I would order again. My husband also tried the Chicken Buffalo Empanada. He thought it was okay, but personally, it wasn't really my taste. I think that's just personal preference! The staff were super cool, friendly, and welcoming! We really enjoyed the fun and relaxed atmosphere. Everyone made us feel comfortable & the service was great. We'll definitely be back!

No dress code. It's very relaxed in there.

Can you have lunch or early dinner upstairs if you have kids with you?

Is there dancing and or a dance floor to dance on?

Yes there is. Right in front of the stage.

Any entrance fee?

No cover, at least not during lunch or dinner hours and they keep the live music going pretty much all day.

Yes for sure. Really fun place for that

9:30 pm

Horseshoe hotel

Honestly don't know, I didn't see any dogs when I was there

I used Opendoor for my reservation but there's not a way to pick your place to sit. But I can only suspect that once you make the reservations you could call ahead or something.

They can go up until 10pm.

From the second you walk in, she greets you like family, and before you've even settled onto your stool, your drink is already on its way, made exactly how you like it. Mine's a Tanqueray and tonic, my wife's is a lemon drop, and Rachel has never once needed a reminder. She doesn't just do that for us. She knows everyone at that bar by name and exactly what they drink. And those drinks are killer. Her lemon drop is perfectly balanced, never too sweet, and my T&T comes out crisp and right every time. You can tell she takes real pride in her craft. But what really sets her apart is her energy. Rachel lights up the whole room. She's quick, she's funny, she's warm, and she makes a busy bar feel like your neighborhood spot. She's juggling a full bar and still makes every person feel like the most important customer there. Mark my words: one day Rachel is going to be running her own place, and when she does, we'll be the first ones through the door. Until then, Sammy's is lucky to have her. If you're coming in, sit at the bar and ask for Rachel. You'll thank me later.

The glorious Double Down Saloon. In the modern era of glitzy, flashy, and ultra processed Vegas,…read morethe DD will provide you with an absolute respite from all of that the moment you walk in the door. This is a glorious punk-oriented dive bar. That should be real clear from the distance you have to travel into a very undescript section of Vegas to get to it. On the outside, everything should already be screaming YES to you if you have a taste for great bars like these. For example, the first time I ever visited, on top of the marquee bill was Jello Biafra. Yeah it's like that. The music, the vibe, the crud - it's all on point. The cocktails are colorfully named and presented (I'm sure plenty of reviews will highlight the toilet shot) but I'd say they're kind of the weakest part of this joint. Just stick to straight booze, rejoice that you're not surrounded by as loud AF bachelorette party on a casino floor, and get hammered in the "Happiest Place on Earth'.

Fantastic grungy dive bar in Las Vegas!…read more I honestly can't believe it's taken us so long to check this venue out, especially since concerts are always free here. Our favorite punk band, The Mormons, happened to be playing here which is what drew us in. Loved the atmosphere with dollar bills and some R rated photo strips hanging around the bar area along with various stickers & graffiti filling the rest of the space. Truly feels like a quintessential Vegas dive bar. Bartenders weren't overly friendly, just there to do their job, but they served beers / cocktails quickly. We had a few PBR's which were $5 each. Fellow patrons were really friendly. I even made a friend during the show! For anyone with sensitive ears, the speakers are LOUD, so be sure to bring your ear protection. I loved the loud music, but my husband was suffering a bit. As per a usual dive bar, it is also smoky inside. If cigarette smoke bothers you, snag a spot near the entrance since they leave the door open for fresh air. This was everything I expected from a dive bar with a small stage for cool bands. We'll be back!
