No, we made the mistake of using one of their competitors who took +5 visits over 2 months to complete the task. However, once that headache was resolved, we did make the RIGHT DECISION to partner with SERVPRO to complete the repair portion of the process and thank God we did because we had the privilege of working with Mr. Gordon Brown, General Manager; SERVPRO. From the beginning, Gordon took the time to insure we had a clear understanding of what the repair process entailed including potential "surprises" that might arise given our particular situation and his vast knowledge and experience that he had accumulated over his career in the construction industry. I could go into exhaustive detail and cite numerous examples of Gordon's promptness, attention to detail, ability to delivery, and just creating a comfortable working relationship with my wife and I but I won't. Suffice to say that Gordon Brown was the major reason why we are now avid SERVPRO clients and will recommend them to all our friends. Deep cleaning includes things like scrubbing the fridge, stove, and oven. They also staightened up our hopelessly ramshackle bookcases. They scrubbed the scale off our bathtub. They even pulled our bed away from the headboard and vacuumed about 17 years of dust out of there. That was all included. We paid for some services, like organizing our scary linen closet and steam cleaning our rugs. Everything was SPOTLESS. Now we will use them every few weeks and hopefully our place will never be as dirty again! Highly recommend!

Because this level of project is new to us I think I was pretty anxious a lot of the time but Erich was always helpful and easy to get along with. I feel very lucky to have been able to hire them. The idea that the materials are being reused, the savings over straight demolition and the potential tax savings are really the icing on the cake to what was a great experience overall. Deconstruction Works also did some side work not originally contracted such as cleaning up the place.
