Very nice place to stay as a couple or with your family. So much to do and they have a Big Hot Tub…read more(we love that) and 3 pools. We stayed in the Jr suite poolside and they gave us a great room right by the pool doors. So convenient. Room 247. Good choice. The little houses look cute need to get more info on them and stay there next time we come. The rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Staff is very friendly. We will be back for sure. Go for the show too it was so funny.

My husband & I booked 3 nights here during the weekend of July 11th 2026 for $659. We booked here…read morebecause our friend was getting married nearby. The first red flag-we had ants in our room. They were crawling all over the nightstand between the beds. They were everywhere, we didn't complain. The next day the ants were crawling on the head board, beds, & in my suitcase, which I kept off the floor & on the table in the room. There was also a beetle. Didn't complain. I have photos but cant post them it seems. The shower has a mind of its own. Doesn't matter the setting, it will go back & forth in temperature to scolding hot to freezing cold. The last day we were there, the 6 of us friends who booked here wanted to use the pool with the bride & groom & her parents. We were told by the front desk we could have guest we just have to have our wrist bands. We weren't being rowdy or breaking the rules, but I guess the OFF DUTY general manager was upset that we were ruining her day off in her personal pool because she tried to get the young life guard to kick out our friends & that wasn't going to happen. So she came over from her lawn chair and told us who she was & she tried to kick them out. we stood firm with the fact that 6 of us are staying at this hotel & that we have spent a collective of almost 2k for the weekend here. I was ready to complain about the ants in front of the other guest in the pool if she insisted further, but she eventually dropped it & went back to tanning. Other pool guest told us that was rude of her, & it wasn't that big of deal. We won't be back.

I have been here twice with my boyfriend and we enjoyed our stay both times. The first time we…read morestayed, We were greeted warmly by Tim and Heidi, the innkeepers who are professional musicians. Each room is decorated with a variety of Victorian furniture and named after something musical. This is the place where we discovered their very yummy hot apple cider! Breakfast was filling and yummy. I believe we had French Toast with a size of fresh fruits and tea/coffee. We usually come up to Lancaster to go to our favorite restaurant there, Dienner's Country Restaurant. While we were here, we also got a chance to visit Jennie's Diner, conveniently located right across the street. There are no TVs in the rooms, but we enjoyed that idea it gave us a more intimate setting. We ended up playing cards and with the chess set available in the nicely decorated living room (we were there during Christmas time). They were kind enough to take some pictures for us near the fireplace and Christmas tree. This time, like others, we went In December, and was able to enjoy our short time here. We were greeted warmly by Tim and Heidi again. I even got to enjoy some hot apple cider at breakfast! We enjoyed our time here and hope to visit again soon! :)

This was our first time at a B&B and we are very happy with our choice. We were on a quick getaway…read morefor our anniversary and we're treated to very friendly guests and Tim, the innkeeper, who was very nice and accommodating. The place is very neat and clean and very nicely decorated. I would call it quaint. No TVs in the rooms which was just fine as we treated ourselves to a relaxing night in candlelight and the warm glow of the fireplace. We topped it off with a very nice bubble bath in our in-room jacuzzi. The location is in the Amish countryside, but only a mile away from the outlets and lots of restaurants (we highly recommend Checkers Bistro in Lancaster...top notch!) All in all it was a great first experience and it definitely won't be our last. We could not recommend Candlelight Inn B&B more,
