AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!
I paid $350 per week to be constantly abused, stolen from and have my privacy and personal space violated! Of the two managers who work here, the younger man is very professional and courteous. The older man named Ken however, says nasty things about other residents (he has pointed out that one young man staying here has his father paying for his room, that one woman is an alcoholic, etcetera) His customer service is absolutely abysmal...and unfortunately, he is the only staff to be found on the premises almost 100% of the time.
When I first arrived I was told that I would have microwave in my room, but the manager didn't actually give me a microwave for almost a week after I checked in, despite asking multiple times. The remote to the television does not work except to change the volume, and when I told the old manager about it he told me I must be using it wrong (I even tried repeatedly to reprogram it, but nothing worked. I ultimately had to buy a new remote out of pocket. The only light fixture in the room turns off on it's own every 20 minutes or so and you have to get up and turn it back on. Also, when the wifi went out I called the front desk to let them know and the manager refused to restart the router (how hard is it to unplug the router and plug it back in? It takes all of 30 seconds!!!) because according to him, 8:30 is too late and he would do it in the morning. There was no wifi for about 36 hours after that. The room had cockroaches and ants running around constantly. Frequently when I come home after being out of the room, its obvious that someone has been going through my luggage. Every few days, the manager comes to my door and accuses me of smoking in the room because he can "smell it through the walls" and when I promptly let him in so he can smell that I have not been smoking inside, apparently he leaves and harasses several other residents about the same thing. Earlier today, the manager stole my cigarettes out of my room and approached me when I was outside and gave them to me saying "i told you not to smoke me in the room" (which again, I definitely have not) and threatened to call the police, to which I said "go right ahead, taking other people's things without their permission is stealing and I'd love to tell them what you've been doing," at which point he put his phone away. He then proceeded to scream at me in the parking lot for about 10 minutes, spitting on me throughout the whole interaction, and ultimately threatened to evict me because I told him it's not ok to take people's things from their room when they're not home.
I don't plan on staying here a second longer than I have to, so that's fine with me...$350 per week for service like that? You'd have to be out of your mind!!! read more
