Extra towels and it is always very restful. I get plenty of sleep and feel rested when I wake up. Their rack rates for business travelers isn't too outrageous. The only time my sleep is disturbed is when I eat too much and my belly is too full. Therefore, I eat my heavy meal during lunch and eat lighter at supper helps me sleep better.

She suggested Hyatt House since the location is convenient for both of us. Upon arriving, my friend had the valet meet me at the entrance and sashayed into the hotel like she owns the place! We situated ourselves in the bar area and the front desk attendant, Olivia, promptly walked behind the bar to take our orders since there was no bartender on duty at the time. One brownie point for Olivia. Although my choice of poison is simple to make, it is unusual. Olivia admitted she doesn't know how to make it, but with the recipe I gave her, it was perfectly done. Two brownie points for Olivia. The hotel lobby was nice and quiet on a Saturday night with guests returning from their venture sporadically. I was able to catch up with my friend, shared many laughs, and gained a lot of insights with no-nonsense advice from her. Oliva quietly checked up on me and my dear friend every so often. She was never intrusive. 2 more brownie points for Olivia! To be honest, the idea of meeting for a drink and discussing at the hotel bar never crossed my mind. The bar/lounge area was spacious and clean. I enjoyed the experience tremendously. I'd highly recommend a casual meeting and a drink at the hotel bar than a typical bar where the noise level can be clamorous. Located in the heart of Evanston, there are plenty of shops and eateries within walking distance. In addition to valet parking, many available (pay) street parking along Chicago Avenue in front of the hotel are available. Of course, Northwestern University is also within walking distance.

But it has a lot of modern technology it is up-to-date with the heater, the bathroom, a very comfortable bed etc. I saw complaints that there wasn't enough fruit of the buffet. Come on people get real. I saw complaints on hear about people and their water problems. I did not have any issues with the hot water whatsoever. I did not have problems hearing through the walls because I didn't hear anybody. It is a very nice place that I highly recommend and the staff are very friendly. It is pet friendly, $25 a night and there is a parking place behind there, a private lot for $10 a night which is very fair. I like all the all natural body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and soaps they provide there.

This suite has a large king sized bed and oversized 2 person shower with his/hers sinks. There is a controlled temperature remote which i thought was nice and the VINTAGE ELEVATOR! OMG! It was sooo cool to find an old school Otis elevator with swing gate. This hotel has gone through significant upgrades with modern amenities and has a new outdoor terrace on the 6th floor. Check out their collection of Ugly Mugs in their Tea Room where they offer complementary breakfasts. We happily munched on ham and cheese crossant sandwiches, eggs, oatmeal and fresh sweet pastries. Absolutely loved this place and look forward to spending future anniversaries here.

The place wasn't totally clean and that bothers me for a supposed 4 star hotel with these prices. Could still see hair/stains in the bathroom. Incredibly small room and bathroom, you could wash your hands, sit on the toilet, and shower at the same time. Feels like false advertisement. Walls are quite literally paper thin, I can hear the convos going on next door. I can't believe they try to say this a 4-star experience. I had a better run for my money at the Extended Stay. That said, over two different stays, rooms and the general experience of the hotel are notably poor to the point where I would avoid this hotel. In my first stay, I was checked into a room that had a large HVAC unit directly outside the only window in my room, with no view at all to the outside. That HVAC unit loudly ran all day and all night throughout my stay. I left feedback and was contacted by the front office supervisor, who apologized. I then decided to give the hotel a second chance. I arrived late (1am) and was checked into a room with a squealing air conditioner. I went back down the front desk and changed rooms, which resolved the issue until 8am the next morning, when loud banging (see video) started directly outside my door due to ongoing elevator maintenance. I tried to go back to sleep and even attempted to block the space at the bottom of my door with pillows to reduce the noise, but the banging continued for at least *five hours* until I finally gave up and went to a coffee shop to work. I wrote to the front office supervisor and never did receive a response. I finally went to the front desk to ask for another room change. After staying in four different rooms at the Hilton Orrington over two stays, only one of the rooms was comfortable and allowed me to sleep comfortably. There are a few other very nice hotels nearby the Hilton Orrington. It is worth the extra money to stay at one of them.

When I booked the room it said that it included free private parking at the location... less then 24hrs hours before check in I get an email stating ( there are 3 parking spots that's first come first serve and parking on road in front of house) ok well that should be put on the description before u book the hotel cause I would've never booked with them if I'd known u had to park over 2 miles from the hotel... We got their at 3:11pm check in was 3pm - we got there and no parking for over 2 miles away from house on the side of a road in a sketchy area... We had no way of knowing about this until we arrived because their description was a lie and not detailed enough... They didn't say they had 6 rooms but only 3 parking spaces... We had 2 large suitcases, a large duffel bag. And a large cooler that they expected us to walk over 2 miles with to the house to check in... We never made it in the building - after about a half hour of calling and messaging with no response from owners we left to book another hotel over 20 minutes further and at another 200.00 in costs... we had no way to cancel the room backseat we couldn't get ahold of anyone so they said because we didn't cancel they are kept 80.00 of the 94.05 we paid to book the room stating well we said parking was first come first serve....
