It was the best days ever from the minute I walked in. Arturo, a front desk worker, welcomed me warmly which was when I knew that it was gonna be very comfortable stay for me and my family. He's is the best. Everyone in the hotel were super nice and the manager (Michelle) was always smiling and checked in on us a lot to see if we were comfortable there. Then I met Summer. She was really super super nice like Arturo. Everyone at the reception was really super nice and even for the house keeper are really nice. Selvia and Claudia was really nice. Even if I didn't need cleaning they always just checked in on us. Victor and his coworkers who did maintained for the room were very kind and checked in a lot. I really felt sad to leave the hotel. I felt like I was in my house because of everyone's kindness. I just wanna say thank you to the company for having great staff in Evanston location they are the best. I get plenty of sleep and feel rested when I wake up. Their rack rates for business travelers isn't too outrageous. The only time my sleep is disturbed is when I eat too much and my belly is too full. Therefore, I eat my heavy meal during lunch and eat lighter at supper helps me sleep better.

This saved me some money as I just need milk, fruit and bread for breakfast! Last but not least, the front desk was nice, and I was lucky to know that the cousin of one staff also enjoys distance running!

It was sooo cool to find an old school Otis elevator with swing gate. This hotel has gone through significant upgrades with modern amenities and has a new outdoor terrace on the 6th floor. Check out their collection of Ugly Mugs in their Tea Room where they offer complementary breakfasts. We happily munched on ham and cheese crossant sandwiches, eggs, oatmeal and fresh sweet pastries. I did not have problems hearing through the walls because I didn't hear anybody. It is a very nice place that I highly recommend and the staff are very friendly. It is pet friendly, $25 a night and there is a parking place behind there, a private lot for $10 a night which is very fair. YEAH LESS THEN 24HRS BEFORE OUR RESERVATION WHEN IT WAS ALREADY TO LATE TO CANCEL THE ROOM.... I will say that the things it has going for it are: it is close to Loyola and Northwestern, is close to public transportation, close to small beaches, close enough to Lake Shore Drive, has decent WiFi, and has smoking rooms. Windows open in the rooms which lets you get fresh air and air out rooms if they are too smelly. I will say there really isn't much in terms of grocery shopping, beer/liquor shopping, and restaurants nearby. I would not bring family here or a significant other or love interest, but that doesn't mean it should be ruled out as a place to crash and/or party within reason. I will leave it at that.
