An interesting décor with friendly and proactive staff, but the food itself quite possibly ranked as some of the worse I've had in a long time.
The place does its best to look and feel like a 'wild west' saloon, but take the time to look in more detail and it feels a little cheap and tacky. Nonetheless, the spirit of the far west is there and the menu backs this up with all the expected items, wings ribs, burgers, nachos and tacos.
Unfortunately look and feel combined with an appetizing menu simple do not make up for the poor quality of the food. I like honesty and I'll commend the place for adding a small asterisk beside each and every ingredient that comes from the freezers. The downside of this is when more than half the dishes contain defrosted ingredients, including the first half of the burger list.
We opted to share some nachos and stuffed jalapeno peppers before tucking into two burgers. Incidentally I opted for a burger where there was no asterisk next to the meat, whereas my partner went for one with the asterisk. No to worry though, both were equally poor. The meat was dry, tasteless and with even less add-ons inside than at any of the main fast-food chains. Needless to say it was a real disappointment. Not to mention the fries accompanying the burger which were shockingly bad (especially when your neighbor is a decent fritkot!).
As for the starters, I thought the jalapeno were not too bad (despite their frozen origin), and the nachos tasted ok provided you stayed clear of the dips (they may not have come from a freezer, but the tin they came from was equally bad).
I normally refrain from writing a review if I expect to put the lowest grade but seeing more than two stars when looking up this one gave me the impetus to take action. read more
