Phenomenal.
Stumbling across this restaurant on a cold and dreary Belgian evening, my party of four were warmed both in body and spirit upon entering this delightful brasserie - the cozy single room was abuzz with young couples and families alike.
We shared oysters to start, and about half the menu was dedicated to various seafood combinatorial platters to share. Nevertheless, I ordered the beef tartare and the linguine with seasonal mushrooms and parmesan. The former was succulent, with great sharp tang thanks to the Dijon mustard, and plenty of textural contrast (not just an amorphous mass of raw meat). The latter was hearty and delicious. Yum.
My buddy ordered the Andouillette sausage. Upon inquiry the staff cautioned that this wasn't your typical sausage, but something "else". They were right. I was glad to try some of it, but don't think I'd be able to finish the whole thing as my main. Fun fact, the AAAAA label on the menu stands for the Association Amicale des Amateurs d'Andouillette Authentique. Apparently people take their Andouillette seriously.
Booze was reasonable, and service was prompt, attentive and kind. We had a great dinner here.
