They also had wine slushies, and have live music outside sometimes. Cheese board wasn't too exciting, but it was OK. She answered all our questions and educated my friend on the different types of wine because she was a beginner wine drinker. We also learned that all the wines they serve are Lost Oak's. Even though we got there at 7:20 and they closed at 8pm she didn't rush us and took her time serving us. My friend got a white wine and I got the cabernet franc. We both enjoyed them. Here is why this place is a must-visit: * The Vibe: It is the perfect balance of casual and relaxing. They had soft live music playing in the background that set a wonderful tone--not too loud, just enough to keep the energy light while we caught up. * The Food: We are still talking about the artichoke dip! It was the perfect starter, and the pizzas were delicious and hit the spot after a day of tasting. * The "Cuteness" Factor: One of the highlights was finding their adorable cow plushies. They are actually flown in from Scotland, and our group couldn't resist--they are the perfect souvenir to remember the trip! Whether you're a serious wine lover or just looking for a beautiful place to unwind with your best friends, this ranch has such a welcoming, "stay-a-while" atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Cute winery we discovered while exploring GrapeFest this year!…read more We first tried their sangria under their tent, and it was iced and absolutely perfect for the Texas heat. That's when we noticed their tasting room tucked away on the side street. Later, we visited The People's Choice Tasting and tried all of their wine options -- they easily ranked in our Top 3! Afterward, our group went back to their tasting room, which is nicely designed and has a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, this time the sangria was served warm. We asked for ice and had to ask twice before getting it, which was a little disappointing. If that hadn't happened, I would have given them 5 stars. I definitely want to visit again when things aren't quite as busy and get the full tasting-room experience.
