It's located on Lookout Mountain, which has a ton of historic significance and we enjoyed learning more at the National Park. Rock City is across the street from the Inn and it was also interesting to stroll through. The Inn itself is quaint and cozy. The main building has a few guest rooms but most are in cottages dotted around the property. Ours was sweet and the bed comfy. Our only issue was the TV cable didn't work and wasn't repaired during our trip. The jetted tub also didn't have functioning hot water and it would've taken too long to fill using the shower, so it went unused. Both of these items would've been much welcomed following a very long travel day from the west coast. Overall very nice.

But vouchers were provided for Rembrandts, which is about 150 yards away. We enjoyed sitting outdoors at Rembrandt's under the trellis (trying not to feed the finches that beg). Take a lovely little walk through alleyways, catch a glimpse of bakers doing pastry magic. Admire outdoor sculptures sprinkled throughout. Go towards the Bocce court and find more sculptures there as you admire the river view. Great location. Walk to Hunter Museum. Walk to the Walnut pedestrian bridge and watch the sunset. Nestled in a valley in the North Ga Mts.. This is out in the country and it's a working farm. No mints on your pillows or high tea here...just simple , cozy , and super sized accommodations. Our room is huge, sporting a King size bed and has a working fireplace! Next up "The animals".... Dogs, cats, goats , chickens,llamas, a horse , a few donkeys ,1 camel named Mel and a peacock that's the star if the menagerie. As I mentioned we love animals and this place has got them. We can walk straight up to the barn and pet and feed them carrots and apples. All good. I have no shame in saying that I'm an uptight, city slicking,asphalt loving diva but I do enjoy coming here for a few days , unplugging and getting away from all the traffic ,concrete and my comfort zone. We stayed in the Midnight room, and loved the extremely comfortable bed (a King-size firm memory foam), beautiful decor, and hot tub in the room! All three mornings, we loved our elaborate breakfast (see attached photos; forgot to take a photo on the 3rd morning because we were too excited about chocolate chip pancakes); the staff/owners were also incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. In addition to this, it's the perfect location to be close to tourist attractions such as Rock City and Ruby Falls, but far out enough to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We definitely want to come back another time when the weather is better and we're able to take advantage of all the outdoor seating and picnic-like areas between the rooms, as well as the pool and jacuzzi! 10/10 would recommend to anyone who asked! P.S. they also have an adorable and friendly beagle who loves to be loved on!

We didn't get the room we paid for and when I said something, she said, that room was blocked off and I mentioned Marriott, her response was "We are not a Marriott, we just let you earn points". She did call around 10:00pm, while we were in bed, and said she could move us to a bigger room. We were already sleeping . The room we got was extremely dark, with old furniture and paint chipping. The bartender in the bar, said he cold make anything, then didn't have what I wanted. Gave me a substitute liquor, which was not even close and made me sick. The continental breakfast was scones, packets of oatmeal, some fruit and some dry cereal. Bad Coffee and 10 tea bags, none of which I would ever drink. They consider this an artsy boutique type of hotel, I felt like we were on "Skid Row". Marriott should cut ties!!!
