There's always these huge clearance sale deals that are just to hard to skip. I can find snacks here that are only available in my home country (Hong Kong). They also carry so many different types of wine that are less expensive than other stores. If you have not been to World Market, you are really missing out!

They have an expansive range of snacks, some I'd beg my friends to bring back to the US when they travel. There's a good selection of Milkia chocolates, although I do wish they would stock some Swiss brands like Sprungli. They do carry Lindt, but not exclusive flavors. I don't mind waiting as they have many options. The real gems I found here are in the kitchen and dining section. They have some of the cutest kitchenware like strawberry themed jars, froggy glass cups, and sardine plates. For the matcha hobbyists, there are plenty of whisks and chawan bowls at reasonable prices. I've even scored two Hello Kitty cups from their clearance section. Nice employees here are definitely a plus. I prefer to be left alone, but they are quite helpful at the register. Take advantage of their membership for their perks. Returning for more great buys.

The shop was very organized. The staff were so sweet, welcoming and friendly. I wish I could spend longer time there. The Hen's Kitchen Shoppe is a hidden gem in Clairmont .I will be back very soon.

I couldn't stop staring & just wonder in complete awe. Wow! I barely had time to process & check everything out do the photos posted are just cursory pictures, for now. Must stop by another day when Hubby is not in a hurry or take one of my girlfriends to explore this shop & all of what Claremont has to offer. Staff are helpful and welcoming and prices are pretty decent for the quality. I came during the holiday season and the vibes were festive and fun! I walked away with some cute and unique vintage Christmas decorations that my cats won't be able to destroy lol - as well as some soup starters that have all been absolutely delicious so far! They've been so good, in fact, that I scoured the web and found the company online so I can order from them again in the future (it's Anderson House Frontier Soups - they use minimal all natural ingredients and have a wide variety of flavors - fantastic soups!). I also snagged a dip mix and they had locally made honeys, jams, candies, and even fresh gourmet coffee beans and an antique grinder. And if you love to decorate with any rooster or chicken themed items, Shabbyology is your jam! If my kitchen wasn't already packed full of rooster-themed decor, I would've walked away with so much more. They also host occasional themed "sip and shop" nights where they offer entertainment and various drinks and nibbles while you browse. They have a digital newsletter to keep you informed of upcoming events and classes so be sure to sign up! Their location is a tad strange for the genre of store - they're found in a large industrial complex and their shop blends in among all the beige, nondescript buildings. If it wasn't for Google Maps I would've driven right past. But there's plenty of free parking. I enjoyed my visit and will definitely stop by again!

I highly recommend going to their showroom to select your colors. They were very patient with me (and helpful) when I went with my daughter. The installation went beautifully, they were on time and so respectful of our property. They even worked with our electrician when he was installing the ground lines. Since the install, the team continues to answer our questions about little things. The structure is super high quality and beautifully crafted. We couldn't be happier with our decision and highly recommend Tropicana.

I recently purchased a custom outdoor kitchen island from Tropicana, and while the quality of the…read moreunit itself is impressive, the overall experience left me disappointed due to issues with communication and the installation process. For a project costing approximately $36,000, I expected a more thorough pre-installation process. In my opinion, someone from Tropicana should have visited the site before fabrication or delivery to verify measurements, confirm utility locations, and ensure the structure would fit properly in the designated area. A simple site inspection could have identified potential issues before installation. There was a measurement discrepancy that required the unit to be modified. I appreciate that Tropicana corrected the issue at no additional cost, and I want to acknowledge that they did take responsibility for making that correction. However, the larger concern was the lack of clarity regarding utility hookups. I was later referred to information on the back page of the contract regarding these requirements, but I never received or reviewed that page during the purchasing process. Had those details been clearly provided and discussed upfront, I could have made the necessary preparations before delivery and installation. Because the island was installed without identifying these access challenges beforehand, I have incurred additional costs. My electrician charged an additional $300 due to the difficulty accessing the electrical connection, and I now need to hire a plumber for approximately $500 because the access area is too confined for me to complete the plumbing connections myself. The Tropicana team has been responsive and professional in addressing some of these issues, and I appreciate their willingness to work through problems. However, for a premium product at this price point, I believe the installation process should include a site verification and a much clearer discussion of customer responsibilities before installation begins. The island itself looks great, and I hope to enjoy it for many years. My feedback is intended to help Tropicana improve the customer experience for future customers investing in a significant backyard project.
