I have been to Pub & Grub a few times, but never for food. Today my husband and I stopped in to grab some lunch after a successful Pechanga trip. We sat on the patio facing the street and our server was a pretty girl with long dark hair. We ordered a couple beers, a pretzel appetizer and then one burger each. The food was all very good, however after I ate half of my burger and started to eat my fries I noticed a hair that was nearly an inch long cooked into one of my friends. I stopped eating and when our server came by to ask us how we were doing I showed her the fry. She started to say something and then stopped and it sounded like she was ready to ask me why I ate half my burger of I noticed hair in my food. She then told us it looked like an arm hair to which my husband and I both looked st each other and then our arms which are completely hairless. There was no apology, no acknowledgement that it isn't okay to find a hair in your food, nothing. She did offer new fries, but I'm, no thanks. We let her know we didn't want containers to take out remaining food to go (I wasn't hungry after finding the hair) and she simply walked away and we didn't see her again. We had to ask two different people for our check before we could cash out and leave. To say I was shocked by her reaction is an understatement. I wasn't looking for a comped meal, or even a discounted meal, an "I'm so sorry, I'll notify our kitchen staff" would have sufficed. We will return, but for drinks only. I would think most establishments would have a protocol for this type of thing. It sucks their was hair in my food and sucks for our server that she almost made it seem to be our fault. We were looking to pass on some of our good fortune today, but instead took it home with us. read more

I have only come here once and will not be going back. I was walking my friend outside to get an Uber when the security guard stopped me and said I couldn't bring my white claw into the parking lot. I said no problem and asked him if he could hold it while I walked her to the curb. He told me no, and suggested that I set it on a counter that a bunch of men were standing over. I told him I wasn't comfortable leaving my drink somewhere, as I don't want to be roofied. He said that was my only option unless I wanted to throw it away. So I said okay and took a last sip of it, intending to throw it away, when the security guard grabbed it from my hand and poured it over the top of me. I asked him if he was proud of what he had just done, and he began to step back and cower down a bit. I asked him why he did that and he said he "thought I was drunk so it'd be fine." This place was the absolute worst experience. Last night we had a bachelorette party and went here for the karaoke. As the bartender with the beard was checking ID's he took one of our friends out of state ID and claimed it was a fake. He refused to give back her legally state issued ID and was very rude about it and was yelling at us. So we asked to talk to a manager which was also refused to us. In order to get her ID back we had to call the sheriff. Which he also argued with him as well. It was completely ridiculous that this bartender was just so rude. First off, this is a bar- nothing gastropub about this. Our experience- Service was BAD!!! Food portions were definitely small; not enough to share (even for appetizers). It was slow for a Friday night, but service was still poor. One member of our party ordered a pizza and didn't get it for more than 30mins after everyone else had their food. The checks took forever (although the waitress did manage to correctly split the check). She didn't even bring a pen for people to sign the check. Overall, I can't see this place lasting too long. WOW!! Completely disrespectful staff and bouncers. A large group of us came in after a long day visiting the area because the restaurants were maxed to capacity. We had a cooler and bag with us full of waters and snacks from our day being out. While waiting for over 10 minutes after taking a seat the group of men in the party ordered beers and cocktails from the bar . The waitress that came to help us was completely rude and refused to serve us since we had already ordered drinks at the bar on a closed tab. After arranging our orders the bar back was confused and irritated to take our order. The food was ok , nothing to write home about. After an hour and half , we payed for our food and continued to order drinks. They opened up the back room for an after hours club. Since we were already there we decided to take a look and see how the venues club experience was. Roughly 20-30 minutes into the club I was approached by one of the security guards and was asked to leave the premises because we had brought in "contraband" aka our cooler and bag of snacks. I proceeded to tell the employee that we simply had placed them aside and were just enjoying the time and purchasing drinks , reassuring him that our intent wasn't to avoid paying business to the establishment. To no surprise the bouncer proceeded to grab be and tell me that I needed to leave and my items were being trashed because it was on the venues property. Roughly 30 dollars in food items (which I could care less about ) BUT A 240$ YETI COOLER was then proceeded to be thrown away purposely in front of me. All of us were then grabbed and shoved out of the venue without our belongings. After many attempts to talk to staff outside about getting back our cooler they repeatedly swore and degraded us for being "difficult" . While I'm reality , we didn't care about leaving or being told to , we just wanted our property returned to us , which it never was. After reading the reviews and talking to other friends who live locally it's no surprise how they treated their customers and others. I wouldn't recommend this place to any friends/family, and most importantly children for a family night of dinner. read more

This place is usually awesome. The food is great from what we've tried. The seating on old town rd is really nice to. However, over the last 2 months we've driven the 35 mins there for lunch only to be greeted with a hand made sign that says closed Monday/Tuesday. This has happened the last 2 times we've been there!! How the heck we have such bad luck to be there on these days is unknown, but ridiculous none the less!! Once we walk up to the door on the side of the building (second door) which is open and I ask why they are closed....we're told for cleaning!! What the heck! Both times! Why you must close 2 entire days to clean is crazy, i get it. Its a bar and weekends are nuts and im sure messy, but really??Clean before your hours of operation! The website both times has said "open" with current hours of operation. We saw more than 5 people turn away after seeing this sign!! We have been there in the evening once before and it was busy and seemed to be doing well!! But the day time hours are a joke!! Either open for lunch or dont!! It's that easy!! Came here this past weekend to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday. We were here on a late Saturday morning/early Saturday afternoon. It was crowded, but not packed to the gills. We were sitting in the back as we had a large party (6 adults, one child). We were there for a few hours, and in that time, I think our servers (never was sure which one was assigned to our table) checked on us twice. We had to flag them down several times to get additional drinks and order food (which wasn't good, to add insult to injury.) There is a bar in the back, so I have no idea why it wasn't manned by at least one person on a Saturday. We ended up leaving because we were tired of not being waited on in a timely fashion. New grill/pub at the south end of Old Town Front Street. It has a nice big patio with lots of big screen tv's. The service was really good. They're fast, attentive, and refreshingly nice and friendly. They actually came over and asked what game we wanted to watch on tv. They offer breakfast (which was not on the regular menu) and a regular menu. My friends and I ordered off the breakfast menu (two orders of french toast and a frittata), while my husband ordered fish 'n chips off the regular menu. The french toast was good, but nothing to write home about. The fish n' chips, on the other hand, was pretty damn good. The fish batter was light and the french fries were nicely crisp and just the right amount of salty. (Hey, there's a lot of places that mess up french fries, which is almost criminal.) So while I think the breakfast items may be just so-so (at least my french toast and my friend's frittata), the regular food items (particularly, the fish 'n chips) seem to be way better. Overall, it's a nice place to chill, much on some food, have a drink, and watch sports on the plentiful big screen tv's while wearing your favorite jersey. read more

When you walk up to pub you're greeted by security, I don't really understand why they have to touch your entire body and make you take out all your stuff from your pockets?? I mean maybe if the guy was really cute I'd be okay with the touching, please hire hotties. They charge a $5 cover which is whatever. At least have some of your space heaters working if you're going to charge us... NONE of them were working and it was cold out! And don't even think about putting your hood on, it may be cold as balls out and none of the space heaters are working but it's not okay to put your hoodie on to keep warm, because you're clearly in a gang and trying to start a fight. Oh yeah let's just talk about the dance floor, constantly covered in a sticky substance... could be bodily fluids could be straight glue, who knows, but the staff gives zero fcks. This place was pretty bad. The server was new, so I don't want to rag on her too much, she was still learning. The beer we ordered, they were "out of", which is pretty bad for a PUB on a Saturday night. The server tried to recommend a different beer, but did not know what she was talking about. We heard the table next to us order something, that they were also out of. Anyways, the food items we ordered sounded good, but when they came, they were NOTHING like the menu described! I ordered the Old Town Flatbread, which was described as grilled onions and grilled jalapenos with carne asada on a smokey jalapeno pesto....no, it was a cheese pizza with sloppy beef and pico de gallo on it. This place was terrible I've been here multiple times but the way they treated me and my other friends were terrible. The way they placed my friends arms behind their back to "walk us out" as if we were a criminal was horrific especially after tipping around 40%! We were treated like criminals! Ok, seems we are the first. Looking for something new and stopped in today. I believe today is the first full day of being open. Great little pub in Old Town Temecula. Lots of TVs, huge patio, beers at the proper temp. Menu is simple but has some very interesting and sophisticated items on it. My wife had the All American Burger. She said it was good for her. Cooked right, fresh veggies, kosher spear, onion rings were fresh and tasty. Me, well lets just say something special caught my eye. Korean Burrito!!! I have been seeing the success of the Korean Taco trucks and such on the Food Network and other food shows. Being the foodie I am I had to try it. Marinated ribeye steak and LOTS of it paired with cabbage and rice. It is big and best of all it is TASTY!!! We will be back Sunday for football and to try the Vietnamese Wings. read more

This place is awesome!! It's a hipster hideout that my family and I crash on occasion. My recent favorite was the gingerbread iced team and deconstructed pot pie. Healthy, hearty and delicious. Big chunks of chicken and fresh veggies in a light sauce, covered in a light, flakey puff pastry. The Asian spiced wings were sooo good, as we're the clams. The food quality is excellent, presentation is beautiful and the taste is spectacular. Pricing is reasonable and the patio is fun in the day and romantic at night, with mutliple fire pits. Me and the Hubby stopped in for a quick drink last Friday afternoon. There were several bars and restaurants in old town to choose from, so we were very glad Old Town Pub & Grub was the one we picked! We sat at the bar (LOVE the copper penny top btw), and right away, we knew we were going to like our bartender. He was helpful, friendly, and really personable, made us feel like a "regular". I ordered a Bloody Mary... now, in my opinion, this is a drink that tests the talents of a bartender, gotta have just the right mix of everything....lucky for me, he had a perfect recipe! It was delicious!! My husband ordered a couple of their craft beers: Horny Devil -good, but with a 10% alc content (yes, that is exactly why he had to try this one....well, the name may have had a little something to do with it too =D) the flavor was just too strong. The other one was - Blood Orange Whip- with an orange slice, excellent summer beer, tasty and refreshing, he really liked this one. We were definitely pleased with our drinks, our service, and our bill! Then, the icing on the cake was the manager taking a few minutes to chat with us....and not just the typical "hi folks, hope you're enjoying yourselves" kind of manager chat. He genuinely cared about what we had to say, and it was obvious that he truly loves his bar! No doubt about it, we will absolutely come back whenever we're in Temecula, and next time we'll be sure to give ourselves plenty of time to try some of their Grub too!! read more

I'm being generous with 3 stars. We tried Pub and Grub on a Thursday night, the place had maybe 1/3-1/2 the tables seated. The menu stated it was happy hour, but we weren't told what any of the happy hour specials were. The food was average, we had cheese fries appetizer, classic sliders and the front street pizza which was actually more like a flat bread with beets, goat cheese and basil. While I wouldn't rush back for the food alone, we like to patronize small business and I could see eating here again. However, the service was lacking at best. We had 4 different people try taking our order at different points, but then when it was more than 30 minutes before we even received our appetizer the waitress said she was the only one working, on a Thursday night. Additional quirks is my husband ordered the corn dog, which we were told they no longer have. The cheesy fries appetizer states on the menu it comes with ranch. We weren't brought any (or napkins until we asked) when we did ask for ranch dressing, they were out! Of ranch?! Crazy. Finally for a pub, they don't have much of a beer selection. Maybe 20 total, and the includes the bottled domestics. I did enjoy one of the local beers, but there were only a couple of those to choose from. Sadly I can't find a good reason to try this place again. read more

PLEASE READ. I have never gave a rating in my life but my mind was blown this weekend at this place. Clearing reading all the reviews about fights and the bouncers and management I wish I would seen that before I stepped place in here. We were a group full of fireman and wives that came from the wineries so we they let us enter with our yeti cooler. After maybe an hour and half of being there a bouncer grabbed one of our boys very aggressively saying he had to leave now. Come to find out it was because we had cooler on us (the same one they let us enter with and had on us for hour and a half might I add) we weren't using anything inside of it had no problem dumping anything inside but they insisted they now owned the cooler and they are throwing our $250 cooler out. Again, dumping anything inside was never the issue it was how they were treating us and grabbing us and shoving our group and making scene over our cooler. They wouldn't let us go without trying to yank this cooler away from us. Horrible horrible horrible management. Disrespectful bouncers treating us like we weren't even human. End result they managed to take the cooler from us and throw it out. We were calm trying to talk to them and they were nothing but aggressive and disrespectful. Only reason we let go of the cooler was we look around a bunch of people were recording. THEY (bouncers and managment) were the ones making a scene. Don't even get me started on the women with the blonde hair how she was speaking. DO NOT GO HERE. THE OTHER RATINGS ARENT WRONG THEY TREAT YOU LIKE YOU ARE TRASH HERE. read more

We thought that was really cool of him to do that and it was the first time that ever happened. Drinks were good, food was good, atmosphere was good. Bartender was fabulous. I am completely flabbergasted by the unprofessional manager I dealt with last night. It was my first time there and I will never return. My friend and I arrived shortly after 9 pm to wait for her other two friends to arrive. We intended to celebrate the birthday of one of them. These two are(were) regulars at this establishment. Upon arrival I asked the bartender if the kitchen was still open so I could order some food. He informed me that the kitchen had just closed but I could grab some food at a restaurant and eat it there. I ordered a pizza to be delivered. Once the pizza arrived the manager(I didn't realize he was a manager) came over and very brusquely barked at me , " you can't eat that here!" I replied to him that the bartender had told me that I could order it. He said, "I don't care you can't eat it here, not tonight." I responded that I would put the pizza away underneath my purse. He went about his business. The two people we had been waiting for arrived and we ordered a second round of drinks. I asked the bartender again about their outside food policy and he told me people do it all the time and it was fine to bring food. The two regulars also told me they saw people bring food in after the kitchen closed all of the time. I decided to sneak a small bite of my pizza and then put it away again. A few minutes later a bouncer came up and told me that the manager wanted my friend and I to leave because of the pizza. I told him I'd get rid if it and he seemed satisfied. I threw my entire brand new pizza into the trash so that we could remain and celebrate the birthday we came for. Ten minutes later the bouncer came back and told me the manager didn't care that I threw the pizza out, and that my friend and I still had to leave because we had "attitude"(mind you, the only thing I had said to him before was to explain that the bartender had told me it was ok, and I said it respectfully). We left and took the two regulars with us and they will not be returning. They will vouch for me that this whole situation was incredibly poorly handled by the manager and there was no reason we should have been treated that way. read more

I was looking for a place in old town to watch some Sunday football and after checking Yelp (thank you) found Old Town Pub and Grub. If you want to watch sports this is for sure the place. TVs are pretty much the only things on the wall and that was what everyone in the place was doing. The restaurant area is not that big so make sure you come early if you want to make sure you get to sit. They do have an outdoor patio so if its nice out you can sit outside. The service was average and the food good. My husband really liked his chorizo burger and everything was a little on the spicy which we like. Probably not a great place for a date or a family but fun if you just want some food, drinks, and sports. read more

Hello Everyone, This place is the worst club to go to in Temecula. I used to go here all the time in 2019 until I came here about a month ago. I wanted to have a night out because I haven't went out in such a long time so I came here in the night time to have fun. I was waiting in line for an hour in a half and still there was a huge line waiting to be allowed inside the club. I had asked the lady at the front entrance blonde hair in a pointy tale guarding the entrance if I can use the bathroom she told me I couldn't use the bathroom until I got inside this was my second time asking her if I can use the bathroom she got a really bad attitude with me she said" I already told you you can't use the bathroom! "and I told her "there's no need for an attitude " and she told me to "get the fuck out" Another man walked up to me very angry and aggressively also sizing up to me and telling me "get the fuck out "as well. He claimed to me that he was the owner and I asked him to give me his name multiple times and he did not want too. He was also threatening to call the cops on me for trespassing? I was only trying to use the bathroom as I had already paid for my entrance and was still waiting in line to get inside the club. The African American gentleman asked me nicely to leave the property I asked him why were they being so rude and yelling at me his response was they were having a " bad and long night already" that does doesn't justify them treating me this way I couldn't believe how badly I was treated from this place all because they were busy that is not an excuse to treat anyone like this I didn't deserve to be disrespected asked to be removed from the property and the gentleman trying to make me fearful. This is unacceptable and unbelievable I will not be back ! Don't bother coming here wasting your time ladies. There's other clubs surrounding the area that won't treat you bad for asking to use their bathroom. read more

So the update to my review has them loosing a star. In the month since we first tried. This place nothing has really changed. The service actually went down a notch and although they have a cool patio it's just not very comfortable. The set up is all wrong, the tables should be round and the chairs just plain suck! We didn't eat this time but the food being served around us looks good but it's too expensive and you are served on plastic plates with plastic utensils. Unless it's a nice day and I want to watch a game on a patio, I wont be going back to just hang out and eat and drink. read more
