They recently introduced liquor and their menu is crazy amazing! The atmosphere is perfect. You don't walk in and feel out of place ever! I love that the most! It's super rare- There is karaoke, trivia pool tables and tournaments-There is live music, and other live shows. The music and drinks are phenomenal but it's the atmosphere, inclusive welcoming energy and service that is truly what makes this place stand apart from other bars. I mean if there even is any.... lol- I just would never go anywhere else- they have ruined me for any other venue. All of the others are just noise and cliched to death. This place is beyond bad ass! . It is clean, the art is fabulously one of a kind. It is small but not too small. It's sporty, but not too sporty, its dance and live DJ's are something else. If you get the chance to watch Jon or Leo- well you are witnessing genius at its finest. It's literally perfect. He is knowledgeable and made every time me and my friends get a night out- the best time!!!!it's our first and only choice!!!!. Even if we have to drive 30 minutes- so worth it! It is the best kept secret in Southern California. But it shouldn't be- there is just something about this place that is hard to describe. It's perfect, and I cannot say enough about the experience . I mean after all isn't that what going out is for?!!!it's so incredibly creative as a business - so much fun- so much value- so much thought has gone into what they offer- so much work has had to have gone into this establishment. -the place has its own little buzz- and it's where the freaks/ the nerds- the too cool for school peeps- the young- the old- the artsy and refined- and the ones who wanna just dance- all co-exist. It's a pretty amazing feeling to see this happen!!!! I met Jon's wife, Mallory, and she has done a lot of the interior design- and she is the quintessential cool, gorgeous, ahead of her time, type of person. If I took this much time to write a review about the sheer pleasantry of The Champion, it's because it is well deserved!!!! Thanks guys!!!! Can't wait till next time!!! Once our order was finally placed, the food arrived fairly quickly. Everything looked excellent, with great presentation and generous portions for the price. The loaded nachos were outstanding--perfectly balanced with cheese, shredded beef, and all the other toppings. You could tell the ingredients were high quality. The EB Burger also looked great. For a $20 burger, looked promising and came with a generous serving of crispy fries and a large pickle spear. Although it arrived closer to well-done than the rare temperature I ordered, it was still tasty. The Not So Good: The restaurant was not particularly busy, yet it took quite a while to get served. We were only able to place our initial drink order after repeatedly trying to get the bartender's attention. Unfortunately, this became the theme of the evening. Even though guests around us appeared to be receiving regular service, we often felt invisible. When we finally got the bartender's attention to order beers, she hurried away before we could place our food order. It took additional time and more attempts to flag her down before we could order dinner. When the burger arrived overcooked, I couldn't even mention it because our server never checked on us or asked how the food was. Throughout the evening, I had to flag down other staff members just to request another beer or refill our water. Our server/bartender finally acknowledged the issue only after we spoke with another staff member about both the overcooked burger and the lack of service. To her credit, she offered to comp the burger. I initially declined but later accepted because it was nowhere near the temperature I had ordered. Despite the disappointing service, I still left a standard tip. I also told her it was a shame because we live right around the corner and had been excited to try this place. We were hoping it could become our regular Friday-night spot and somewhere we could bring friends and neighbors who enjoy good food and drinks. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I don't think we'll be coming back.

This place disgusts me. Leon should be fired and put in jail and the other security guards are worthless. What's the point of having security when they don't give a shit about bad people? My boyfriend got punched for no reason last night by a random idiot who was at the complete opposite end of the bar and walked over specifically to talk crap and literally punch my bf in the mouth!!! We've never even seen this guy before and he would have no Reason to start a fight!! And as my bf is standing there now bleeding with a chipped tooth Leon grabs my friend who's wearing a dress and has it completely lifted up and is holding her with his big ass arms carrying her across the bar when she was sitting down not getting involved. He is an inappropriate CREEP who never leaves us alone and took it way too far last night. He did absolutely nothing about a guy who did nothing wrong getting punched and was literally smirking. Someone got ASSAULTED and the own security literally did not care. I 100% believe he put that guy up to punching my boyfriend and I cannot believe there are people like that out there that dirty and disgusting who are securing bars. After all that too Leon the "guard" who lets people that punch walk right off has the nerve to tell my boyfriend to go. I'll never feel safe at that place again and would never step foot in there again. I hope bad karma comes back to bite Leon in the ass. No one like that deserves a job and if he doesn't get fired then the whole bar altogether should be shut down. I'm so disgusted. read more

SCOTTY!!!!! If you're looking for a world-class bar experience, look no further than Scott. He isn't just a bartender; he's the heart and soul of the bar, making every visit a memorable occasion. Known affectionately as "Scotty," he is without a doubt a master mixologist. Every drink he makes is perfectly balanced, whether it's a classic cocktail or one of his I'mown unique creations. He has an uncanny ability to suggest the perfect drink based on your mood or taste, and he executes them flawlessly. You can taste the care and precision in every sip. What truly sets Scotty apart is his phenomenal personality. He's genuinely fun to be around--engaging, witty, and he manages to make everyone at the bar feel like a friend. He has a way of lifting the entire room's spirits, turning a simple evening drink into a highlight of the week. Most importantly, Scott constantly goes above and beyond for his customers. On my last visit, I mentioned I wanted a unique drink, and he not only offered suggestions but even took the time to offer several unique suggestions. He anticipates your needs before you even ask, whether it's topping off your water glass or offering a helpful suggestion for a nearby restaurant. Scott is the definition of exceptional service. He elevates the entire bar experience through his talent, humor, and dedication. Five stars aren't enough--Scott deserves ten! read more

There are only 2 places in oldtown that I absolutely love going to for any occasion & this is definitely one of them. During the summertime the patio is a nice spot to grab a drink & people watch if you're into that. Try the fried green beans or cheese curds dusted with garlic parmesan. My friends love the lemon pepper chicken wings. Drinks are on point here for sure! Music from the jukebox is ok depending on the crowd I'd say. They have karaoke almost everyday here & that's great for my friends & I cause we are huge fans of that vibe. Club nights on Friday & Saturday are ok, but definitely for the younger crowd I feel. There's also a 5 dollar cover after 8 & if you don't have cash you can pay by card. I'm sure by reading this places review you've realized the key to what makes this place special is the staff!! They are all very polite, charming, people that are friendly to both regulars & new comers alike. I think Scotty however does deserve praises in particular for his kindness & assuring that people smile while they are there. It's extra nice to be able to leave with a smile too! He's the type of bartender that will remember your drink order, make fun of himself to make others laugh & willing to take the time to talk to you on a bad day. Clearly, he's got a fan club & I just became a member though lol. This place seriously is one of my favorite spots to be at! read more

I visited Old Town Pub in Temecula on December 4, 2025, and what happened wasn't just bad service -- it was blatant discrimination. A group of patrons had been heckling me and my friends earlier in the night, making comments and creating an uncomfortable environment. One of the women even walked by and whispered something coily in my ear about "having the upper hand," clearly trying to provoke me. Later, someone from that same group falsely accused me of "hacking" their phone -- an accusation that was absurd and completely unfounded. Instead of investigating or even asking me what happened, the staff immediately sided with them. The security guard made everything worse. When I explained that the group had been harassing us throughout the night, he ignored it entirely. He refused to address their behavior, yet accepted every word they said as truth. And in the end? I was the one kicked out -- not the people who instigated, harassed, and antagonized me. Considering the group involved was white and I am not, the selective enforcement and bias were painfully obvious. It was humiliating, upsetting, and deeply wrong. Old Town Pub needs serious training in professionalism, de-escalation, and most importantly, bias and discrimination awareness. I would never recommend this place to anyone who values fairness, safety, or basic respect. read more

THE MEN WORKING AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT DRUG WOMEN!!! THERE ARE MANY REVIEWS STATING THEY WERE ROOFIED HERE. PLEASE STAY AWAY LADIES!! ITS NOT SAFE. This was my 2nd time coming here on the weekend, i am new to town and my friends like the genre of music they play. I was dancing with my friend and had noticed others this time as well as the 1 previous time I've been, hitting their vape pens. I decided to take a hit of mine and a security guard suddenly flashed his flashlight on my face. I walked over and he told me I wasn't allowed to smoke. I apologized and offered to put it away. He immediately grabbed my lower back and shoved me out of the door and said "You're done. Go get in line if you wanna come back inside" and later onto the night the dance floor was FULL of people smoking vape pens and wax pens. Dude with the ponytail and shaved head needs to get off his power trip and stop touching girls when unnecessary. And I completely understand if smoking isn't allowed inside however when and who does it apply to LOL? ( only when a security guard needs a self esteem boost) read more

Anytime people actually started getting into a song and dancing, he would switch it almost immediately. It made the vibe feel all over the place. Also, the guys there were way too aggressive. Multiple times, guys wouldn't take no for an answer, would keep trying to get my attention after I rejected them, and some were even touching me or grinding/humping me without my consent. That made me really uncomfortable and took away from the experience. Overall, the venue itself was okay, but the music and the crowd made it an experience I probably wouldn't like again lol.
