Tucked in the heart of Port Charlotte, discovering this place was a breath of fresh air as boba have been a staple back home. With a smaller, more intimate menu, it was easier to choose a drink as I always find myself overwhelmed from too many available options. I opted for one of my top 3 favorites which is taro smoothie with honey boba. The drink was tasty and creamy and the boba had a nice consistency. One of the girls from my class took a leap of faith towards the Vietnamese coffee as a first timer and loved her drink. The right amount of punch smoothed out by a blanket of condensed milk to ease the edge. Our drinks barely made it out the shop and I was close to ordering a second one. The place was an absolute vibe with a nice greenery backdrop and a decorative neon light for IG photos. The workers were really sweet and we had even met the owner of BobaBae who had been so genuine and kind. It was beautiful and inspiring to hear her passion and love for both boba and Florida. Thank you BobaBae for making our first experience here in Port Charlotte much more welcoming and comforting!

This was my first time so she explained the coffee & tea portion and area. In the same shop there's also some unique wines for purchase, a chocolate area which is made in house! And even a wine tasting area. So awesome! Of course on top of that they sell all different types of coffee beans and some tea. I met my friend and we both got their coffee flight! WOW delicious and variety. It was a lot of caffeine but worth it and I was still fine to sleep that night haha, for my meal I got their breakfast sandwich, it was delicious and I love that it came with a side of fruit! I wish I lived closer but I will definitely come back here again. It's such a great idea, not just a morning cafe but great for the whole day. Some seating outside as well if you have a dog with you. So I found out about this place from a coworker who spoke with them about a fundraiser that we're…read morehosting in July. While she was there speaking with the owner, she picked up some menus and distributed them. I was very impressed by what they offer. So when I was in that plaza for lunch this week, I decided to finally stop by myself and get a smoothie for lunch. I got the PB & Blue. When I asked, what type of milk they put in their smoothie, she said that it's just water based, which made my lactose intolerance self so happy. They were very friendly upon entering, and the storefront is very welcoming. I sipped the first taste on my walk across the parking lot, and immediately put my fist in the air in case they were watching from inside because I wanted them to know how amazing it tasted. I can't even describe how good this was. I almost drank the whole thing on the five minute ride back to work. They have a loyalty program which is awesome as well. I will say I'll definitely be trying to make at least a weekly trip out to visit this business because that smoothie for lunch was just absolutely perfect for me.
