There was no cortado on the menu, but the latte that the young lady made for me was exactly what I needed. Hot, fresh, and prepared with care. It had that balance of strength and smoothness that was excellent. This is a neat little coffee shop in a small town, the sort of unexpected stop that feels like a small reward for choosing the slower route. It had tasty cold foam and the espresso is smooth and the flavor was delightful. It's on the sweeter side so I would recommend decreasing the flavor if you want something less sweet. My dad got a black coffee which he enjoyed and my mom got the vanilla latte (hot) which she said was good. The shop itself is really cute with multiple seating areas. They have some sweets they sell as well as some potted plants for sale (which adds to the ambiance). Definitely worth stopping if you're somewhat nearby!

He also ordered the spicy bean and sausage soup. I opted for a cup of broccoli cheese soup and a chicken salad sandwich on sourdough bread. The food was super delish. The chicken salad with lettuce and tomato was one of the best I've had in a long time. Mine also came with a fresh baked macadamia nut cookie!
