The space is clean, comfortable, and quiet enough to settle in for a few emails before getting back on the road. It has that small town ease to it, the kind of place where you can exhale a bit before the next stretch of travel. There was no cortado on the menu, but the latte that the young lady made for me was exactly what I needed. Hot, fresh, and prepared with care. It had that balance of strength and smoothness that was excellent. This is a neat little coffee shop in a small town, the sort of unexpected stop that feels like a small reward for choosing the slower route. A real treat, and worth remembering the next time I pass through Arcadia. [Review 1605 of 2025 - 2182 in Florida - 25153 overall]

The brown sugar milk tea was perfectly balanced, and my husband said the winter melon tea was just as good. There was only one person working, didn't spoke much to us at all or make any suggestions on what was good he would have recommended on the menu either. The only downside is that they close pretty early, and there isn't much else to do in the plaza. It's more of a grab-and-go spot than a place to sit and hang out, but they do have a nice waiting area, and I loved the milk tea artwork on the wall. We'll definitely be back!

Watch out Florida! There's a new (boba)bae in town!…read more A few girls and I had travelled 2500 miles from Cali for a school business trip and came across this little gem. Tucked in the heart of Port Charlotte, discovering this place was a breath of fresh air as boba have been a staple back home. With a smaller, more intimate menu, it was easier to choose a drink as I always find myself overwhelmed from too many available options. I opted for one of my top 3 favorites which is taro smoothie with honey boba. The drink was tasty and creamy and the boba had a nice consistency. One of the girls from my class took a leap of faith towards the Vietnamese coffee as a first timer and loved her drink. The right amount of punch smoothed out by a blanket of condensed milk to ease the edge. Our drinks barely made it out the shop and I was close to ordering a second one. The place was an absolute vibe with a nice greenery backdrop and a decorative neon light for IG photos. The workers were really sweet and we had even met the owner of BobaBae who had been so genuine and kind. It was beautiful and inspiring to hear her passion and love for both boba and Florida. Thank you BobaBae for making our first experience here in Port Charlotte much more welcoming and comforting!

While she was there speaking with the owner, she picked up some menus and distributed them. I was very impressed by what they offer. So when I was in that plaza for lunch this week, I decided to finally stop by myself and get a smoothie for lunch. I got the PB & Blue. When I asked, what type of milk they put in their smoothie, she said that it's just water based, which made my lactose intolerance self so happy. They were very friendly upon entering, and the storefront is very welcoming. I sipped the first taste on my walk across the parking lot, and immediately put my fist in the air in case they were watching from inside because I wanted them to know how amazing it tasted. I can't even describe how good this was. I almost drank the whole thing on the five minute ride back to work. They have a loyalty program which is awesome as well.
