My family stopped by Harborwalk for a sweet treat after lunch. Harborwalk is located in the back of the building, overlooking the marina. There are signs pointing to the shop as well as a sign outside with list of flavors. Limited indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was young and wasn't the warmest. They acted inconvenienced which made me afraid to ask for samples. I only tried two flavors and I went with one of my go-to flavors, coffee chip. Fortunately, it was delicious. First, the deets. Then, a story. This little shop is hidden on the harbor side of the crab restaurant. Parking is free but it's a real bear to find a spot, at least on a sunny Friday afternoon. The ice cream flavors are multitudinous (and so are your choices of cones), the scoopers are cute and the outdoor seating features spectacular views of the harbor (which is probably why you'll pay 4 bucks for a single scoop of ice cream in a cake cone. Now, the story: I will go miles for peanut butter. If the ice cream has peanut butter cups, that's good. If it has peanut butter ribbons, that's better (but it's usually ribboned in chocolate ice cream, as it is here, which is a compromise). But if it is actual peanut butter ICE CREAM, well, that's the holy grail and a truly rare find. Harbor side doesn't have the holy grail, but its Caramoo is pretty darn good. Now, I don't have to describe what's in "strawberry" or "praline caramel swirl," but I took a risk on Caramoo based on looks alone, and I came away mighty happy. Caramoo is premium vanilla ice cream with ribbons of chocolate and, wait for it, mini peanut butter cups. I don't know why they didn't call it Peanutbuttapoo, but then I didn't get a say. read more

Very good ice cream that is made in house! They also had a ton of flavors to choose from. I got the kiddie size and it is pretty decent amount with 2 scoops. These guys got it ALL right!!!! Fresh tasty waffle cone. I got two scoops. The vanilla ice cream could pass as a gelato in many places. Rich, flavorful, creamy with a beautiful fat percentage that is very satisfying but not not "oily". The regular (not artifical sugar) butter pecan was also smooth but chunky and full flavored. We read some reviews and decided to stop here, but tried to manage our expectation not too high. After I had waffle corn double scoops of orange pineapple and coffee chips and my husband had double scoops of peanut butter and chocolate, my husband then went back in and got his second double scoops. Stopped in after spending a few hours walking around town, we were immediately greeted with a smile by the owner and a member of the staff and we were offered a taste of anything we wanted to try. This is just a great place to enjoy a refreshing drink or some great ice cream and we were told in about another week they will be offering Sno-balls this will be a great addition to their already winning selections. The place was super clean and they have a great offering of ice creams and cold drink and yes as stated on their website a bottle of water is only 50 cents (check out their website there is a lot information and well done) This is definitely worth bookmarking for future reference, we definitely will return during our next visit to the area I am sure I will choose the soft and smooth Sno-ball since they are one of my favorite things in the world lol read more

A fun place to go with kids or kids at heart! I grabbed a shave ice from here. I know a lot of people come here for the ice cream but hey, the heart wants what it wants! Service is energetic and inviting and the shave ice does the same justice if not to the next level. I did the Hawaii blue and pineapple flavors I think...I really can't remember. Fantastic place to get great ice cream and watch the sun set over the harbor. It's a small place and they have a few tables and some seating outside as well. The staff has been friendly both times that we have visited while on vacation. The ice cream flavors are unique but they have a few of the classics as well. You can try samples before you commit to a flavor so that's nice. I wish there were restrooms inside though as it would have been helpful in my particular case ;). I was delighted and surprised to find 4 Vegan choices. So surprised that I asked the young lady behind the counter if they were dairy free. She assured me that they were made with Coconut milk and completely dairy free. I ordered the chocolate because I haven't had chocolate in over 5 years due to lactose intolerance. I spent the next 5 hours in the public bathroom with cramping and diarrhea. The Chocolate Vegan ice cream is NOT dairy free( or Vegan for that matter). You can fool a lot of people but you can't fool my gut. My guess is they used milk chocolate to make it. Needless to say I won't be back. read more
