Addicted to the orange juice. But they abruptly stopped coming to the Punta Gorda farmers market.Used the old family emergency excuse when i call them.. assured me they would be there next week. You say you love oranges, well then Joshua's is for you. They're closed from July to October so you want to make sure that you're here for everything in between. There are like 6-7 different varieties of oranges that are available. Live music on the weekends along with food trucks. read more

2/6/20 Joshua Citrus Neat place hidden in Acadia. We picked up some Honeybell oranges and some strawberry orange juice (which was to die for) to take home. We also sampled some of their orange vanilla ice cream like many were doing and it tasted great also. Worth a stop. read more

I needed some fresh Citrus to cook with and some Oranges to ship to family and was looking for some good Orange Juice. (and an opportunity for images). Joshua Citrus is a great place! The area is loaded with Orange groves. On coming in the road I saw many trees with these mini oranges that I learned - were Kumquats. I never thought they really existed. We found a great country style open air store with amazing displays of Oranges and Kumquats and products made from oranges. There was a girl working there that helped us that was so beautiful that she looked like she belongs in the movies or in a painting - would be better than the Mona Lisa. I got to try different samples of oranges and juices and it was all great. We got the items we came for and I got Kumquats and Meyers Lemons to cook with. I loved the jars of Tropical Orange Mustard and of Orange Jam etc but found it to be quite expensive. The Oranges were a good deal and the place is really cool. I hope to return. I posted some images and hope to add more. I wish I got a pic of that girl that works there. She is one I think I may never forget. We wanted to experience some good fresh oranges from a local Orange Grove so we found Joshua Citrus on line and went there to purchase a large bag of oranges when we got home we opened the bag and immediately had to throw four of the oranges away since they were rotten we had a few of the oranges that were good but most of them were very dry and pulpy and not worth eating so we had to dispose of them so on Saturday we went to Punta Gorda farmers market and found Joshua ​ and ask them about the bad oranges they said that it can happen sometimes it's just the luck of the draw so we bought a bag from them there hoping to experience better quality when we got home the same thing very dry pulpy oranges I would not recommend anyone buying fruit from Joshua citrus sorry we tried read more

We went on the coldest day since, I believe, 1989 and yet they were willing to accommodate our group of four so that we could tour the Groves (you do need to call ahead for tour reservations). This is a family run business and the history is interesting. It's a good opportunity to learn about the challenges and triumphs of the Florida citrus growers. If you go to Florida and don't experience citrus groves you're just mickey mousing around and missing a real opportunity. They have samples of the various fruits and there is a retail stand where you can try the various types of orange ice cream. The retail staff is very, very friendly- I would like to rate them higher than 5 stars! On this very cold day, my husband's prescription lense fell out of his glasses and the lovely young woman operating the store helped with an exhaustive search until it was located - thank you! read more

My wife and myself drove up from Punta Gorda although you can get the fruits here at the weekend farmers market but wanted to get some of their ice cream the trip was wonderful and some great ice cream love the oranges and sweet great fruit also got to pick som free cumquats. Fantastic juices and great fruit. The Strawberry Orange juice is a family favorite. If you get a chance to go to their festival at the grove in March make sure you take the ride thru the grove so you can learn all about the grove and harvesting. read more

My family has been buying fresh citrus and juice from these folks for years. The fruit is fantastic, as is the juice, and the farmstand in Arcadia is darling. When I was in college, my mom shipped boxes of fresh honeybells and grapefruit to me every winter through Joshua Citrus. The fruit quickly attracted a devoted following among my friends who'd join me in eagerly awaiting the fragrant, cheery boxes from Florida and in devouring their contents. We were camping nearby and looked for tours of local businesses. We appreciate what farmers do for us and their hard work. That said, we enjoyed a short farm tour, $5 per person, and enjoyed their farmers market. The citrus flavored soft serve ice cream is great too. Perfect relaxing activity. read more
