The farm had seasonal Asian fruit. Some fruit I saw were dragon fruit, coconut a d sugar cane for sale. I would come after 11 am since they have lunch specials. The place has plenty outdoor seating with places to hangout. The owner was very nice and your able to walk around the farm to see the fruit. Overall if you enjoyed Asian fruit and experience it something to check out.

Save your money and avoid this place. This was one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had!…read more The restaurant was filthy. Flies were everywhere, and once our food arrived, they kept landing all over our meals. It was disgusting and completely unsanitary. The service was painfully slow and disorganized, yet we were automatically charged a $48 service fee for service that was practically nonexistent. The food was terrible. The dishes lacked flavor, and the fruit was just as disappointing. Some of the pre-picked fruit we bought were rotten inside, while others were bland and tasteless. The fruit-picking area was much smaller than advertised, and many of the fruits weren't even ripe enough to pick. To top it off, the bathrooms were falling apart and poorly maintained. Between the filthy conditions, horrible food, poor service, and outrageous mandatory service charge, this place was a complete waste of time and money. I would never return and would strongly warn others not to make the same mistake we did.

I have to say I was quite surprised that 99% of the vendors were not organic. But, luckily while browsing, we came across Michael from Pine Island Botanicals and his vendor tent. Michael is the classic laid back island guy. He quickly introduced us to all of his amazing lettuces. Actually I feel bad calling them lettuce because that makes most people think of a head of iceberg lettuce. YUCK. When I refer to lettuce in regards to PIB, I mean the real green stuff - so many varieties you can't even imagine, and in every flavor you have never thought of. He has spicy mustards and Asian greens mixed and probably twenty or so other that I can't recall the names. He mixes it all up in a mix that you can take home and make the most amazing salads ever. I mix Trader Joes Champagne Muskat vinegar with organic olive oil and drizzle it on and ... heaven. The salad we had our first night was so delicious that I woke up the next morning and had it for breakfast. Yea, it's that good. Anyway, we loved it so much that we went to the actual farm on Pine Island the next week. Michael was nice enough to give us a tour of his completely organic and hydroponic farm. I won't ramble on- just know that if you want real food- not sprayed with the crap Monsanto wants us all to be sickened by- try some of this. You will love it.
