Parking wasn't bad and if you're looking for a souvenir from Florida then this is the place to go and you can definitely spot where you are by driving down the road and seeing a big metal orange. This place is full of souvenirs to potentially bring back: spices salt, and pepper, shakers, alligator jerky, Florida, popcorn, coconut candies, etc. I love that you can have samples of the juices before buying. They even had some salsa and chip samples. They are shown to have a coupon in the touristy maps and guides. One where you can use to actually get a discount on your ice cream. I ordered the dreamsicle which is the most popular, but I didn't have a chance to look at the sizes and after ordering realized that the lady, I just put me in for the regular size which was too much sugar for me. If it does, though she was kind of rushing me which I didn't love. Also, if you're wanting to use the coupon, you have to have your own copy and cut it out/rip it out. And it's also one per order. I also ordered the Keylime pie. I like the filling. It had a very much coconut flavor probably because they use more coconut milk, but their crust on it was not very good. The cream score was actually pretty good. It was a hot day so it melted pretty quickly, but I liked the orange thing that it had and balanced with the vanilla.

The produce can be great in season, but not much beyond what I would consider the farmer's staples. I'd love to think this will continue to grow with an expansion of vendors, but two years have already gone by, so I fear it's a false hope. Nonetheless, it's important to support any endeavors such as this, and I recommend you find time to give these small businesses support.

Save your money and avoid this place. This was one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had!…read more The restaurant was filthy. Flies were everywhere, and once our food arrived, they kept landing all over our meals. It was disgusting and completely unsanitary. The service was painfully slow and disorganized, yet we were automatically charged a $48 service fee for service that was practically nonexistent. The food was terrible. The dishes lacked flavor, and the fruit was just as disappointing. Some of the pre-picked fruit we bought were rotten inside, while others were bland and tasteless. The fruit-picking area was much smaller than advertised, and many of the fruits weren't even ripe enough to pick. To top it off, the bathrooms were falling apart and poorly maintained. Between the filthy conditions, horrible food, poor service, and outrageous mandatory service charge, this place was a complete waste of time and money. I would never return and would strongly warn others not to make the same mistake we did.

Although they appear to b a farmer's market, they're really growing lots of exotic mushrooms, making their own tinctures and herbs and selling freeze dried items. Super nice guy working the day we stopped who told us all about the mushrooms they grow, let us c the grow the room (really impressive!) and discussed how they make their tinctures. While visiting Fort Meyers for the first time, it was recommended that we go to Buckingham Farms…read morefor breakfast. We were excited to try it based on their website, reviews, and the recommendation. Upon entering you can pick up a menu or look at the menu board. There is no table service. Once you place your order you can sit down at a table and wait for your pager to go off. When your pager goes off you have to go to the back of the restaurant to get your utensils. The utensils are plastic that are dispensed. The coffee cups are made of Styrofoam, surprising since this is promoted as a"farm to table" restaurant. You can dispense your own coffee and pick up non refrigerated packaged creamers. No fresh milk or creamer offered. Again surprising. My wife asked a food preparer if she could have some fresh milk for her coffee. It was provided in a plastic container. I ordered an egg, cheese, and bacon on a biscuit. I didn't see any other type of bread offered. My wife ordered the waffle making a point for it to be prepared plain. Our pagers went off and we went to pick up our food. The waffles my wife ordered plain had some kind of cream on it. The server said she didn't see any note about it being prepared plain. She took it back to remake it and brought it out to our table. The coffee was very weak and not very good. My wife threw hers out. Her waffle was tasteless. She took a couple of bites and threw it out as well. My biscuit sandwich was also very disappointing. The biscuit was dry and hard, the texture of the bacon was like shoe leather. We could not understand why this restaurant was as busy as it was. The only thing we could think of, was that it's the only place around. We left and drove 20 minutes to a Bakery/Cafe where they served good coffee, bread, and pastries.
