My first visit with them was a few years ago and they filled like 4 cavaties, which i probably only had 1. Then they grinded my tooth all the way down to a stub and said to come back next visit to fix it. Well they felt shady so i went to another dentist and he confirmed i didnt need all that work done and fixed the stub in the back. Shady dental office. They will sneak in some services along with your routine cleaning and not inform you about it knowing your insurance doesn't cover it. Then now your stuck with a $100 bill for an optional service you didn't really need but claim they provided you the service. Probably one of the worst dentist experiences I've had. Everything from the front desk receptionists being unprofessional in every interaction, to the dentist trying to sell me a 500$ mouth piece for grinding my teeth when I've never had that issue at any dentist I've ever seen. I showed up for an early 8 o'clock appointment and the front gate was locked still at 7:55 so I left. I then had a receptionist call me and tell me that it was not a good excuse that I didn't wait until 8 o'clock on the dot for my appointment yet I was there at 7:55. The staff needs a lesson in professionalism and the doctors need to care for their patients and not just try to make money off of them. First, the people were very nice. My implant fell out and I also needed a root canal and crown on my first molar. Now, for the root canal, my insurance would cover about 600. My out of pocket would be 1700 more. About 500 more than what I've seen everywhere else, but I was 'kinda' okay with that. Then came the implant discussion. Bear in mind, I have my crown, the abutment, and the post that is still in tact in my jaw. They stated 2,500.00 to reinsert it! I shook my head and said... wait, I have everything needed, I just need you to cut my gums and screw it back in. It had been about 2 weeks since it fell out, so I knew they would have to cut me. Again, I asked because the logic wasn't there. "You mean it is 2,500.00 labor for you to cut my gum, and use your torque wrench to reinsert my implant?" Yes she replied. So, I went back home and just asked myself.. are there ANY dentist in Key West that are good decent non-money grabbing? SO, I am going up north where a dentist will reinsert the implant for 457.00!! That is right, just what I found online that it should cost. 40 min drive, to save 2100.00...needless to say, I will not be back here nor to keys dental specialist. Ridiculous. read more

I had to visit the dentist due to an extremely painful toothache and I have always been terrified of the dentist due to some bad experiences. Dr. Mullen as very professional and took the time to talk with me and explain what needed to be done and what to expect. The procedure as much easier and way less painful than I was expecting. They got me in and out in less than an hour and everyone as kind and professional. read more

Quite probably the best dentist and facility Ive ever experienced. They saw me within an hour from calling that I'd broken a tooth and lost the filling. Arrived, filled out the paper work, was taken to a room, met the dentist after taking an xray. Dr. Mullin explained his observation, his remedy choices. I made my selection, the lady arrived in the room explained my insurance coverages and such. Dr. M proceeded with a completely painless 4 surface filling and I was on my way home shortly after. Perfectly professional. I made an appointment to do a complete check up and cleaning. I'm very glad the I found them and they took great care of me. I waited too long and needed a root canal. I was terrified of going to the dentist but Dr Mullen took his time and explained my options and went over the procedure. This practice is excellent in every respect, entire staff, newest technology and they make crowns on site. I was there with my wife who needed a root canal, she was told two days prior by our previous Dentist that they couldn't help her for five weeks. We called Old Town the same day and they were able to squeeze her in and see her the next day to do the root canal. They have very comfortable and clean indoor waiting room but I choose to wait in the awesome outdoor Zen waiting area complete with birds singing in the bushes. The crown shattered and cut my jaw and cheek within 6 months of being installed. The other crown required a recent root canal (Nov/2017) apparently as a result of debris left inside the tooth when the crown was installed. There is one dentist working multiple patients allowing "helpers' to complete the process. Although, the dentist and staff of George W. Lindner is friendly..the fact remains and according to other comments about Old Town Dental reinforce the fact the quality of work is less than standard. From conversation from other military who have used Lindner's services, they too experienced severe problems. In most cases, the issues were resolved and "re-done"..but, nonetheless, many endured pain and suffering because of poor dental practices. I know several have written letters to the Commander of Naval Operations in Key West. Recommend using validated referrals in and around Key West for dental services to assure your money is well spent. read more

I like how YELP deleted my original review after a few weeks, but I'm persistent. Here it is below. I am so sorry to give this place such a low review...but honestly if the system would allow me to give ZERO stars I would. I will start my review with a compliment. The staff is super friendly and attentive, they always greet you with a smile, ask questions, sent birthday cards in the mail. The dental hygienists are wonderful, professional and quick. The office is clean with plenty of parking outside. Now to the bad part. The quality of Dr. Lindner work is HORRIBLE! And i mean it because i suffered through it. First of all he works as he is in the factory settings. He will have multiple patients in each room scheduled on the same time and he will go from room to room during your visit. Let me explain: he will come in, greet you nicely, will do few things, then he will leave letting his assistant do the job, then he will come back, do something real quick then leave again, and it will continue till the end of your visit. But i guess it would have not been that bad if he did a quality job. Unfortunately, for me i have a lot of dental work done with him. I had 2 filling that fell out shortly after the visit. He re fix them at no cost to me...because it happened within a year. Then i had a crown!!! that also fell out within a year from him putting it up. So i went back he also puts it back at no cost. HOWEVER!!! he fails to investigate the reason why it happened. He just puts it back in. Well two years from that day, when i moved with my husband overseas the same crown falls out again! and to my shocking the tooth under the crown is gone, rottened out completely! with bacteria and inflammation all around. I go to military doctors in pure disbelief that this could possibly happened and they tell me that the crown that i had (now in my hand) was improperly fit for my tooth! I was a very bad fitting, that wasn't snugging the tooth completely with allowed bacteria to destroy the tooth! And let me tell you it was a visible when you smile tooth! So here i am, overseas on the military base, trying to get some help. Navy dentist told me that a lot of my teeth where POORLY done! I wanted to cry, i spent so much money and time and now they tell me that an implant (which my insurance doesn't cover) is my best option. I begged them to do something else, as i didn't have $3000 to spare. They did a crown reconstruction, they cut my gums to expose more tooth and reconstruct a new crown. The bottom line is Dr. Linder is more concerned with making money of you and all glitz and glamor, rather then on the quality of his own work. Its been almost a year since Navy dentist saved my tooth (or what is left of it), and now I'm back stateside, i feel its my duty to share this horrible experience and encourage others to do your research before you choose a dentist! read more

Horrible. Zero stars. Walked in to make an appointment for a cleaning. First the receptionist told me they don't do that if I have another dentist. Then told me they were booked until March. I have TWO insurance plans. The insurance company website said they were taking new patients, so it makes no sense. Found a very nice dentist just a few blocks away that welcomed my business. read more

I have been with this practice for 8+ years. They use the most high tech equipment that I have even seen. They are caring as they follow up every visit with a phone call in the evening checking on your status. I would highly recommend this dentist to anyone. read more
