For health reasons, I had not been back for about five years. He is just better; reasonable, only does what you want; no big push for higher price services. I tried a dentist closer to home, Marathon. He wanted $30,000, wanted to replace a bridge due to a chip for $7,800. Jason said he'd just patch it, no cost. Total estimate $14,000. It wasn't about the money just the excellant service, honesty and fair pricing. I won't go any where else.

Beware of misleading billing practices and high-pressure sales tactics at this practice. The front…read moredesk falsely claimed a $59 copay, which was actually an unauthorized upcharge for gingival irrigation despite a regular six-month cleaning schedule. The appointment felt more like a car dealership than a healthcare visit, marked by aggressive upselling for Invisalign, a $595 night guard, and X-rays excluded by the insurance waiting period. Staff also withheld physical receipts at checkout, deflecting to an unreceived email that ultimately required logging into a separate patient portal. During the exam, the dentist pushed an expensive multi-thousand-dollar treatment plan for supposed dental issues, contradicting three years of clean records from a previous dentist in Orlando. Future patients should get all prices, treatment plans, and receipts in writing before consenting to any work, and verify insurance coverage for specific procedures prior to sitting in the chair. Never let your guard down here, and take the other negative reviews of this practice at their word. Furthermore, responding to their response to my review: Old Town Dental's defensive response to my initial review completely misses the mark and shifts the blame entirely onto the patient, proving the exact point I made about their lack of transparency. Telling clients that they need to 'better understand their benefits' is a classic deflection tactic designed to mask a fundamental failure in communication. True transparency doesn't mean hiding behind a generic, corporate PR script or expecting everyday patients to magically decode complex insurance jargon on the spot. It means providing clear, comprehensive, and upfront out-of-pocket cost estimates before any dental work is ever performed, ensuring that patients can give genuinely informed consent without nasty financial surprises waiting for them at checkout. When a healthcare provider responds to honest consumer feedback by gaslighting the patient and playing the victim instead of owning up to obvious communication gaps, it only reinforces the high-pressure, uncommunicative environment they are trying so hard to deny. A truly trustworthy practice welcomes open dialogue and clear explanations; unfortunately, this response demonstrated the exact opposite, confirming why so many patients feel alienated by their approach.

Staff are young and inexperienced. Two people "in training" on their first day were paired up to take X-rays and assess patients. What should have taken 5-15 minutes took 2 hours and 15 minutes. No one stepped in to help the trainees. At the end, only after we noted our discontent, did someone say "we are short-staffed". Before that, both days, they blamed their own staff's lack of knowledge and experience on, "they are doctors from other countries". The young girls at the front desk, rather than encourage and praise their "doctors from other countries", protecting and defending them, chose instead to use it against them as faults for being inexperienced and slow. If we hadn't been forced into pre-paying our cleanings after the initial exams, we would never have set foot in this establishment again. Now we are hoping they repay us what they owe, as our insurance covered everything.
