I haven't been to a laundromat since I was a child and I was dreading washing my king size comforter here. But to my surprise, this is not the laundromat for my youth. I was greeted by a lady here named Sophia, which is everything you would want in an employee. She was kind, walked me through all the steps and didn't make me feel awkward. The laundromat is extremely clean and bright and the appliances were all new, well at least seem to be new and clean. Even the floors were shiny inside this place. The laundry baskets all worked and moved and were clean. I would definitely be back. Oh even the tops of the machines were shiny.

My first impression of Laundry Day was that it was clean and had new machines. I like it's location because it is close to Grocery Outlet and Geens on Your Way, in case you need a snack. There are lots of parking spaces available and I was able to park right by the front door. I came on a Sunday morning and basically had the place to myself. I've used laundrymats like this before, so I knew how to load the card with money and how to get the machines going. The gentleman who was working was friendly to the other patrons who came in and needed assistance using the washing machines. I overheard him patiently explain the process to a few people. The washers are different sizes and prices. I probably could have consolidated my clothes to save money. My advice is to walk around and look at all the sizes before you start, so you aren't using too many small loads. The dryers work freaky good. I put my clothes in on medium for 15 mins and they were overly dry. I'd start at 5 or 10 mins and check to see if you need more time. This wasn't cheap, but it was effective. The laundrymat was clean and the machines were well maintained. There is a small bar area for you to ready, draw, or do computer work. They do not have complimentary wifi though, so make sure to prepare for that ahead of time.

The gentleman up front was so friendly and took care of things quickly. They were able to rush the uniforms (husband had a deadline fast approaching) for a very reasonable fee and my weighted blanket was also ready early when I picked up the uniforms! I believe this may be run by a family, and I love supporting small businesses. This is definitely a business that provides quality services and deserves all the support they get. We will be returning next time we have a dry-cleaning need!

The bigger washers were $7 per wash. You can pay with credit/debit, but not navy federal bank card. There are also options with paying with quarters. The dryers a lot of them were broken or had a sign that said doesn't dry well. It took me $2 to dry my blanket. One quarter for 6 mins per dry. Funny thing is everything is outdated besides the credit card machine. Poor elderly people standing around to wait for a washer to open up to wash their clothes. I hope they tend to their machines or upgrade for all big ones. I would rather pay $7 per wash than have to wait forever for a machine to open up. Dryers need an upgrade to dry faster and if not faster more efficient. All in all I got what I needed done!
