Came here on a thursday afternoon and ordered the birria rolls, carne asara burrito, the abodaba tacos, and seafood pasta. The birria rolls were perfectly crispy and had a great meaty flavor. Went well with the provided salsa's. The pasta was my favorite dish. The culmination of flavors from the seafood, peppers, garlic, and lemon made the sauce divine to eat. Delicious and will be returning! We started with the Birria rolls which were amazing. The meat inside of them was so delicious, I could eat an entire bowl of that alone. We were feeling pasta so I got the lemon chicken picatta. He got the Louisiana pasta with chicken. We both agreed it's some of the best pasta in Wichita hands down. We got this as a pick up order and they were very understanding on the phone. The chicken smothered burrito was enjoyed. The plantain was okay, a little too over cooked but the shredded beef was tasty, it's the same beef they use in the birria dishes so those are probably good! I got the green spaghetti (sub shredded chicken instead of the cubed chicken) and it was a highlight! Although not green... it was SO good! 5 stars. After reading some of the other reviews, we decided to try Old Town Burrito for date night with another couple. We were ALL very impressed. The name doesn't do this place justice. It is definitely upscale Italian meets upscale Mexican cuisine, it's is definitely not just another burrito joint. The plating was top notch, the food was unique and delicious, the ambience was nice however, the absence of background music was somewhat noticeable. Saw all the good reviews and was disappointed. They had no plantains or steak. The Birrias rolls app was amazing. But the mains burritos were just okay taste more like fast food. Got a margarita that tasted like juice but they did add a shot to it making it taste like a margarita should. Over all probably wouldn't come back here maybe it's made for the bar crowd to have cheesy carb load. .....there was also an ant in there salt shaker but they did take it when we pointed it out. read more

Very delicious! Not your typical Mexican restaurant but elevated and unique dishes to try. I love the variety of pasta dishes since that's not common at other Mexican restaurants. We also tried the Birria eggrolls which were very delicious, just a little bit too greasy. My entree was really good but I can't remember the name! It's normally made with chicken but the chef prepared it with grouper. I also have a strawberry margarita which was very refreshing. The staff and servers are very nice and attentive. While they don't have a huge menu, they do have some of the best tacos in the area! I asked for shrimp tacos (not on the menu) and they were awesome! Wife got quesabirras and was happy.
