Semi precious stones, natural specimens, jewelry, this is a rockhound's dream…read more Being a former rockhound I always enjoy coming in here to see the variety of specimens.... Feldspars, quartz, jade, geodes,..... the list goes on. Here you can buy rough specimens for display or jewelry making. They also provide a wide variety of polished stones in various shapes of cabochons for those who may want a more freestyle form of jewelry or pendants. As you navigate the store you come across the jewelry itself with a wide variety of pendants, rings bracelets and more. You can also find some porcelain here as well as different wall hangings and a few windsocks. They happen to have a US Army windsock which I grabbed up instantly! Both of my nephews are now enlisted with the most recent being Special Forces so I was glad to find this windsock. The last time I was in Bandon I grabbed the Marines windsock to represent my other nephew. The salesperson gave me a discount because all they had left was the display, which was brand new anyway! The staff I find to be very knowledgeable about stones, but it seems to be a new person every time I come to town. This shop is loaded with eye candy for the gemstone enthusiast! There are specimens and jewelry everywhere!

I love their selection in here. Very interesting selection of unique gemstones. I bought two pieces…read morehere. Haven is a wonderful gemologist and told me the origins of every gem I was interested in. Remember, everything does not need to end In politics. There are so many other things in life that we should all enjoy! Like the amazing pendants. Isn't my new pendant beautiful? The talented Haven used Red Plume Agate, from Oregon, blue lace agate from South Africa and Laguna agate from Mexico. This will forever remind me of Bandon.

The next door bakery had closed earlier, so I decided to check out this indie bookstore and gallery instead. Ended up finding a lone copy on the shelf, Oregon Coast by Barbara Tricarico. Perfect souvenir keepsake. Nice collection of titles and gift items, pleasant counter person.

I've been coming to this bookstore for years…read more I love the ambiance and the selection of books has always been unusual and quite broad even though it's not a huge store. It seems like their selection of gift items has expanded over the years. It also seems very thoughtful, classy and includes many unique and fun things. Puzzles, art supplies, coloring books, journals, t-shirts, and jewelry were on display along with the books. They also carry cool postcards that are a step above the regular ones available everywhere else. I've scored some great deals here as well. They offer remainders and the last two times I've been here I've scored cool history works at great prices. Service is quiet and calm, but warm too. In other words, they let you browse as much as you want, but also seem accessible for help and/or questions. I love coming here when I'm in the area!

Jewelry, cards, clothes, arts and many many many many many gifts. Narrow aisles to walk down and more trinkets per square inch than honey bees in a bee hive. Got a buck a more, than this place meets your gift-shopping budget. I was trull impressed at how much mechandise is in this shop space--a tourist shopper's attraction!

Wow...so I guess some past negative reviews I've read on Yelp about this shop are true. While on…read morevacation in Bandon in the past I've enjoyed shopping at this little shop. Having recently moved here I haven't been able to catch her open but this morning when I saw the door open at mid-day I stopped planning to get my friend some birthday gifts. As I walked through the door and said hello to the shop owner 'Penny' she said to me very rudely 'We're not open yet'. I said "Oh, you're not open"? She very sarcastically mimicked me and said back "No, we're not open". Shocked I said "A few more minutes then"? She turned her back on me and a man standing next to her said to her "A few more minutes"? He looked embarrassed. She never responded to me so I quickly left. I have never in my life been treated so rudely in ANY shop or establishment. She actually had a look of hatred on her face. All I can say is it's pretty sad that someone is obviously so unhappy with her life that she has to take it out on the unsuspecting public. Her shop has been unsuccessfully for sale for a long time and I suggest to her that she close up and do something else with her life. At least then she could live with her negativity not affecting others. She's in the wrong business. And for having a shop geared toward the spiritual side of life she's just a joke. Enter her shop at your own risk. Her open door isn't welcoming. Addendum to my above review: 11/12/17 I am still upset about my encounter yesterday with this shop owner. Most shocking to me was her mimicking of my voice. All I did was walk through her open door and say hello. Having not lived in Bandon very long I inquired around, talked to some friends and some local businesses and apparently this is this woman's M.O. I even heard stories of her yelling at customers to get out of her shop. I can only imagine, and it is pretty obvious after talking to some local business owners, especially in Old Town, that a sigh of relief will be breathed when she does finally close her shop for good.
