They have cute little cabins on the winery grounds that you can stay at and we rented two of them for one night. My inlaws stayed in one and my husband and I stayed in the other - dog friendly! The owner is super friendly and is very welcoming. They had a bottle of wine for us in the cabin as well as fresh baked chocolate chip cookies that were just wonderful! Shortly after we got there we walked over to the winery for a tasting. My favorites were the cranberry, white muscadine, peach chardonnay, and summer fun (watermelon). Also enjoyed the strawberry Riesling and tropical paradise. The wild fire - blackberry jalapeno was interesting! Just remember, this is not anywhere near anything, so we had dinner and breakfast with us - able to heat up and prepare in the cabins. With it not being near anything, it was a nice quiet evening and enjoyable for all four of us. Would highly recommend if you are driving through to stay the night or just to taste the wines!

The drive up to the vineyard was great. From the outside, the facilities were appealing and inviting. We selected this establishment due to it having food on the menu on the website that we looked at prior to leaving for the vineyard. Upon being seated, a menu was handed to us with no explanation. When the waitress came back over we asked for the mixed wine flight and 2 flatbreads. She explained to us that the kitchen was closed (the was at 1:30 pm and the waitress never communicated it out when handing us the menus that the kitchen was closed nor did the website mention it) and that the only thing we could get was chips and hummus. Since we were hungry, we asked for the chips and hummus. She came back with our first pours and she added that each pour was 1 oz. which I highly doubt due to it just barely filling up the glass. I asked her how she knew how much she was pouring and she said "I just guess". We did the next pour, then on the third pour she was pouring the last wine on the menu. We explained to her that she skipped the 3rd wine and proceeded to argue with us. She finally brought us the 3rd wine after debate then the fourth. Wine was very good. The table next to us received a charcutier board and then realized she never brought us any chips or hummus. It was at this point we realized, we were not going to get the service that we desired. We asked for our check and paid. We left straight from there to another winery where the food was good, service was great and staff were friendly and accommodating. This was an UTTER disappointment!!!!! Especially, since I had messaged the winery beforehand and was assured they were serving food from their entire menu. We begrudgingly ordered a "flatbread" item from the menu and were sorely disappointed. Given the ingredients included on this super tiny small "pizza" and the exorbitant cost, the profit markup on this menu item has to be HUGE! Since the winery was busy, we heard other disappointed guests try to order charcuterie boards to also be upset that none were to be had on that day. Our sommelier was knowledgeable about all of the wines....and I am assuming was the owner/manager of the vineyard. We opted to buy 6 bottles of wine at a mere savings and had wanted to open one of them to enjoy while we were there. Then, the "catch" came....we had to buy an ADDITIONAL bottle to open while being seated as the "cost savings" offer was only available as a "carry out". Our tasting service was slow and the cost for tastings far exceeds what we are used to given the MANY Texas wineries we have visited. While the ambiance is idyllic and the facility is clean, a business only gets ONE chance to make a good first impression. Like other reviews, that have been recently posted, we left and found a nearby winery that offered great food, reasonable prices and fantastic service. I will start out by saying that I am 32 years old, being asked for my id usually makes a little happy considering I never get asked for it anymore. My DL picture was taken directly after my wedding, 8 years, a kid, and 60 pounds ago. The lady looked at my id, then at me, then again at my id. She asked for another form Of identification. This has NEVER happened to me! I didn't have another picture id but I did have my debit card and various other cards with my name on them. The owner then comes and looks at my id and gives us the ok. Again I wanna say, I'm 32 years old, if anything I look younger in my ID picture. The lady giving me all the trouble with this was also not very friendly about it either. I honestly think if the owner wasn't there she wouldn't have served me. But she was and she did, so I tried to forget about it. My friends and I had some drinks, I bought two bottles of wine (would probably have bought more If I had been treated a little bit better) when I went to pay, she ADDED HER OWN $11 TIP!!!!!!!! I asked what had happened and she said the computer must have done that. Ummmmmm yeah right! Me being me, and not likeing confrontation didn't say anything and let the B have the $11 she added to my check. Had it not been for the rude service (I almost felt like she treated me like I had committed identity fraud or something, it was WEIRD) I would have come back with my husband. Instead we will make the drive to Fredericksburg where the people are friendly. I'm also adding a pic of my DL picture and me and my friends this weekend. It's pretty obvious it's the same person. So, all in all, good tasting wines if you prefer a sweeter wine, rude and terrible service.

It is tucked away, off the beaten path, on a beautifully kept property. There is convenient parking right next to the tasting room. You can choose to sit indoors or out on one of the patios - there are mini-golf holes on one and giant chess pieces on the other. When you enter the tasting room, everything is decorated with aviation items. It is super cute inside. Bathroom was clean. Service was great and staff was very friendly. The wine was terrific! We enjoyed tasting dry whites and reds and were extremely happy with all the wine. The reds were especially smooth and delicious. We also walked around outside a little before we left. There are vineyards and a large pond. You are able to get married here and there is another building to use for a reception. Definitely pay them a visit and try their wine. It's worth the drive!

You can buy either a flight of SIX two-ounce pours or you can mix and match from their pre-approved pours. I'm not a fan of this, because I like to mix and match.
