Went through the drive-through the other month to do a simple deposit before heading out of town and got lecture at the teller window on how I had my accounts set up. I let her know I did my banking at a different branch, have things set up that way for a reason and did not stop at her bank for money advice from somebody at the drive-through teller window. She wagged her finger at me through the window, mumbled a few words, and told me if I wanted to fix my accounts to let her know because the other branch I use doesn't know what they're doing. Anyone who knows me knows I'm not one to complain. I've only written a handful of reviews in my life, but this bothered me especially when I found out it was the branch manager. Basically got absolutely nothing, was told it could take up to two months I had three different forms to fill out and a bunch of hoops to jump through. I think it would've been easier if they would've just told me to go screw myself and hung up the phone. I have been banking with them for over 30 years now, this is the first time I can recall having any kind of dispute on my debit card and unfortunately I realized at that point I was on my own. I would definitely recommend using a more reputable bank who supports their customers when they have an issue. I'm just glad it was not a large sum of money that would've been tied up for two months.

Just got back from Chase bank in South Elgin. I had an appointment on line for 9:30 today. Took 15…read moreminutes driving, leaving home at 9am. The bank told me the person is not in today and there's no appointment in system. And wanted me to reschedule. I just need to get a copy of a check that I wrote. Sounds like they don't care about customers satisfaction. And also I used to have business account with them since around 2012 , they required min balance $1500 until I closed business around 10 years later (but didn't close that account) they increased the minimum balance. I wasn't aware of that until I found out that I was charged over $400 ($12/mo), I asked for a favor if they could waive, they said no. So I decided to close business account. Also I close checking account with almost $90,000 which I never had interest which I accepted because I didn't know checking account had no interest ( that caused me $5000 or more depending on what institution). They only think about profit but never about customers satisfaction. Now I've been receiving a few hundreds interest every month from savings accounts with new institutions although it's not even the best one yet. In the end, I had around $90,000 total with Chase around 10 years and had to pay over $400 charges for them to make money from me, even though I asked them a few times both online and Chase in South Elgin to waive.
