Because of my experience with Tiffiny, I love Community Bank of…read moreDowners Grove. I have been banking there for years Tiffiny made me feel so comfortable and welcome that I like them very much. We will be doing business for a long time.

Wintrust makes banking difficult. They do not post rates…read moreonline/on their app/in physical banks/etc and instead request customers call daily to check current check/savings/CD/etc rates. When you call, you get put on hold. On top of that, rates are not competitive. They do not allow you to send/transfer more than 2k a day and 5k total a month to other accts (this includes both bank to bank transfer and Zelle transfer). If you want to manage more ah. 5k a month you are required to go into the bank between the hrs of 9am-5pm which is impossible for any normal working person. Simply makes it impossible to move money around. The mobile app is old age. The whole process of banking here makes it feel like 2010. Better off with an online bank with better customer service, higher rates, and ability to manage your money via transfers and reallocation of funds. Any other bank auto adjusts rates when they tick up so the customer receives the best rate they can while under their care.. not Wintrust. They only tick your rate down without notice and then you have to call over and over to learn about rate increases. The short stout blonde lady at the teller window is incredibly passive aggressive when asked for help. Seen it a million times. Not friendly at all. Bank elsewhere.

We are long-time PNC customers with quite a bit of money saved in our PNC account. Early on the…read morebranch service, personal attention and flexible products and solutions made our Lombard branch feel like a small town, community bank. We were known personally, and we knew the branch staff. Our branch even connected with my sorority to serve women who were trying to get back onto their feet after various life-situations. Then, I don't know if the bank is under all new management or what, but services started to become less flexible, with less options, staff was shuffled off to other branches and our Lombard branch became something like, just come here if you want to do one or 2 things on the tablets! That's it. No tellers, no product staff... and corporate customer service at the call-in number, good grief! Just about zero help. Agents never "have access" to the right account information to help us when we need it, call center hours are less than 24 (which, who banks only M-F between 9-5 anymore?!) and even when agents do "note, report, escalate" our issues we have ended up having to call back multiple times to find out if things have been resolved - usually the "notes" from the previous calls aren't in the computer, sheesh! BUT THEN... after a major bank mess-up on a large deposit we made, my husband and I decided to travel to a branch in Downer's Grove that still offers full-service banking. We went in attitudes blazing, ready to fight for what we knew we needed and WHAT?! There's our old branch manager, Kevin, from our own local branch who had been so wonderful, knowledgeable and people-facing in our early PNC years! As expected, Kevin and his team at the Downer's Grove branch have it on LIT! The teller was able to process our deposit, fix the previous problem, advise us about how to do this in the future and offer us additional products without making us feel like she was being "salesy", which she was, but it felt optional, not full of pressure. We felt that "hometown, local bank" feel again. We're still leaving PNC once we relocate, but until then, Kevin and the staff at the Downer's Grove branch have made it our new place to conduct our financial business. Corporate is still kind of inflexible of the times, but we can get what we need done, with Kevin.

Couldn't be more satisfied with the services I received from them. Thanks PNC at DG!
