    Clean plate club!

Stumbled upon this place thanks Yelp. The pancakes were wonderful, especially the blueberry variety. The French toast got two thumbs-up from our star reviewer. Both of our children (five and 10) cleared their plates. Really neat setting, too. Highly recommended.

    Great Sour cream raisin pie!

What a gem my mother and I found in Mantorville! Set in a nostalgic old school house, nestled in a beautifully designed flower garden is the perfect place for breakfast or lunch! A husband wife duo, Doug and Linda, are friendly and know good home cooking. I had a perfectly grilled burger and fries. My 101 year old mother had the daily special, lasagna, so big that she brought home the leftovers for another meal. And we topped it off with mouth watering sour cream raisin pie, all made from scratch: Linda's mother's recipe. I used to make pies for a restaurant myself and this pie was as good as it gets! Next time we are looking forward to trying some of the breakfast items, like blueberry pancakes or one of the many kinds of omelets. They open early but note that they also close at one. Next time I am going to bring my husband. He'll love it!

Great place to eat! The burgers were amazing and it was nice and quiet. I also enjoyed all the flowers and gardens around the restaurant. Everything was really well kept and peaceful. The inside of the old school house had a lot of original antiques which added to the ambiance which was cool, especially the old books and desks!

    Downsized skillet breakfast is fantastic!

Service is excellent considering one person was working the whole room. My husband really enjoyed the Biscuits and Gravy. He added eggs. My Biscuit Sliders were very good. I would skip the pickled onion next time as it was very sour. I added cheese for $1 but it was just a couple sprinkles. The breakfast potatoes are excellent and a don't miss. Skip the cookies as they are just average.
