I arrived to a full patio and a few patrons inside @ tables so I was fortunate enough to snag my preferred bar stool so I could chat up the beertender. Lucky me... after a few exchanged sentences I discovered my beertender was the owner/brewer!! As we discussed beers and styles I said: so you're Kevin? I had a can of Shut Up Kevin gifted to me a couple years ago and was told it was in reference to the brewer. As we rambled on about beers and styles, together we built my flight. Everything was wonderful and delicious! Angry Hog hits all the marks!! Delicious beer, comfortable and spacious tap room, great patio, easy parking and one rad brewer/owner who is a delight! This brewery was nowhere near me, it was a destination and totally worth the trip! I knew it was good when I headed to my other Austin destination, no parking to be found. My immediate thought was: oh well, guess I try again next Angry Hog visit.... as I am definitely coming back!! Cheers!

The brown ale and cream ale still seemed overcarbed, but they have a caramel pecan beer that is great, the coffee beer was awesome, cherry wheat was delicious and the rhubarb sour they had was fabulous. They even had some fruit infusions you could add to your beer to change things up. Definitely worth a visit!

They have a good variety of beer - I really liked the hazy IPA. They also sell some tasty snacks, we tried the dill cheese curds from a local farm and they were tasty! They provide traditional styles, a great space both inside and out, and a very welcoming staff. I grabbed a flight and went outside to soak up sun and enjoy the beers. Lazy Day IPA: A Juicy New England IPA with medium citrus and medium-low bitterness. A hint of spice and a bit of sweetness from a lactose addition. Frontage Road Toasted Coconut: A Stout with toasted coconut additions - a variation on their standard Frontage Road Stout. Medium-high coconut and toasted nut flavors, low dark coffee bitterness, and hint of vanilla sweetness. Body on the lighter side which makes it possible to enjoy on a warm sunny day. Golden Coffee Ale: A Golden Ale with medium-high coffee bitterness, light black pepper, and mild nutty / floral finish. Very refreshing with strong coffee flavors in a lighter bodied beer without being astringent and my favorite of the four! Serendipity: A house made Ginger Beer sitting at 4.6% ABV. You don't see a Ginger Beer on tap very often so I had to grab it. This one had lemon and lime added, and they use it as a base for ginger beer based mixed drinks as well. This had a lighter ginger flavor with high carbonation. Would love to try it in a cocktail! ______________________

Finally! Stopped in early Friday night to my 384th brewery w friends who are local. I mean I knew…read moreit was also a B&B but.... when you pull up?.... fer cute!! A few little yard arts, chairs, and plants...very welcoming! The B&B is on the left and the tap room is on the right, the garage, where the covered patio is. Co-owner Brenda was behind the bar. They had a good tap list, not overwhelming but enough to quench any palate. There was also a good list of guest taps, all Inbound. When Brenda mentioned she could pour me an "air" I responded... oh Lucid Air! That's one I hadn't heard in a minute! The tap room is very cozy and w Brenda also being a travel agent there is travel destination suggestions on the tap list. Mid visit the Brewer/co-owner, Ford came behind the bar. There was a decent selection of vinyl....not sure if they have a record player or it's just fun "decoration"? My friend gave me the explanation of the names on the shelving behind her. Again....fer cute!! I won't divulge it, go on & ask for yourself, I think it'd be funner hearing it in person from an owner! One friend opted for an Inbound beer. After having Brenda pour me a taste of Chubby Chipmonk Pale Wheat, which was good but better than a standard wheat beer since it's a Pale Wheat, so if you're looking for a muted beer, this isn't it, so go on and taste it. I asked my other friend f I could have a sip of his Bicycle Brown? There it is....that's what my palate is looking for! I opted for a pint of Bicycle Brown Ale... it hit the mark....as I still had a couple hour drive in front of me to the cities. Thanks Hoppy Girl for the delicious beer in such a comfortable & welcoming environment served up by a couple of pretty wonderful owners, cheers!

I cannot speak enough of how kind and warm the owner was. She went above and beyond for us and even walked us to our car with umbrellas in the pouring rain. For the price and the quantity, I expected it might have been lower quality but everything lookedCaesar Salad amazing. It tasted even better! Especially the Cast Iron Mac N Cheese. It is creamy and comforting with a wonderful contrasting finishing crumb. Then we got beef on top which added a sweet filling protein. I also felt good after eating. I did not feel bloated, even though I ate until I was full. That is a sign of fresh and healthy ingredients. I would come back to try more of the menu at any time!

She never left us waiting for service and offered some great suggestions on the menu. While we know this is a brewery, they also serve batch cocktails, instead of a full bar. We started with their version of an old fashioned, which wasn't our first choice but they were actually tasty albeit a bit sweet. Since the weather was below 0, I craved something hot and comforting. I ordered the Beef Stroganoff which was tasty. Included braised local beef, mushrooms, onions, garlic, parmesan, cream sauce, dill, house-made fettuccini, topped with sour cream. The sauce was light so you didn't feel like it weighed you down. My husband ordered the birria tacos. Beef brisket, white onions, mozzarella, cilantro, corn tortilla, green salsa, beef broth, lime Although they were tasty, they were quite greasy. Prices were reasonable. I would come back again and try the pizza.

As i chatted up the man behind the bar...it begged the ?...you the owner? Or brewer? The absolutely delightful Brian is both!! We talked over the tap list and settled on a flight of four: Pencil Thin Mustache midwest IPA, Coral Reefer hemp PA, Saint Somewhere Oatmeal stout & Nike Fest marzen. All were delicious, even the IPA & PA, which arent my preferred styles. I later tried the Great Heart irish red that Brian said was more red than Irish but my palate liked it. On the way to the bathroom i passed by a shuffleboard table, foosball & heeey there's a small bar in front of the brew house! It wasnt nutty busy for a party, but i got there @ open so, the calm. Gravity Storm isnt just a brewery, it is definitely an experience. I liked that despite sitting @ the bar...w an empty glass, i didnt feel pressured to order another beer right away, id driven 100 miles i wasnt looking to slam beers & move on. Was funny...cute...i told Brian i was going to the bathroom & i would bd back. Came back to see he had put a coaster over my partially drank beer. Brian had slipped away from behind the bar and his wife was slanging, also a friendly gal, apologies i never got her name. Thanks Gravity Storm & Brian for making my 388th brewery a fun & memorable one!! Cheers to eight more years!
