I arrived to a full patio and a few patrons inside @ tables so I was fortunate enough to snag my preferred bar stool so I could chat up the beertender. Lucky me... after a few exchanged sentences I discovered my beertender was the owner/brewer!! As we discussed beers and styles I said: so you're Kevin? I had a can of Shut Up Kevin gifted to me a couple years ago and was told it was in reference to the brewer. As we rambled on about beers and styles, together we built my flight. Everything was wonderful and delicious! Angry Hog hits all the marks!! Delicious beer, comfortable and spacious tap room, great patio, easy parking and one rad brewer/owner who is a delight! This brewery was nowhere near me, it was a destination and totally worth the trip! I knew it was good when I headed to my other Austin destination, no parking to be found. My immediate thought was: oh well, guess I try again next Angry Hog visit.... as I am definitely coming back!! Cheers!

The brown ale and cream ale still seemed overcarbed, but they have a caramel pecan beer that is great, the coffee beer was awesome, cherry wheat was delicious and the rhubarb sour they had was fabulous. They even had some fruit infusions you could add to your beer to change things up. Definitely worth a visit!

For the price and the quantity, I expected it might have been lower quality but everything lookedCaesar Salad amazing. It tasted even better! Especially the Cast Iron Mac N Cheese. It is creamy and comforting with a wonderful contrasting finishing crumb. Then we got beef on top which added a sweet filling protein. I also felt good after eating. I did not feel bloated, even though I ate until I was full. That is a sign of fresh and healthy ingredients. I would come back to try more of the menu at any time!

We stopped in for Forager while visiting Rochester…read more Our server Emily was very friendly and attentive. She never left us waiting for service and offered some great suggestions on the menu. While we know this is a brewery, they also serve batch cocktails, instead of a full bar. We started with their version of an old fashioned, which wasn't our first choice but they were actually tasty albeit a bit sweet. Since the weather was below 0, I craved something hot and comforting. I ordered the Beef Stroganoff which was tasty. Included braised local beef, mushrooms, onions, garlic, parmesan, cream sauce, dill, house-made fettuccini, topped with sour cream. The sauce was light so you didn't feel like it weighed you down. My husband ordered the birria tacos. Beef brisket, white onions, mozzarella, cilantro, corn tortilla, green salsa, beef broth, lime Although they were tasty, they were quite greasy. Prices were reasonable. I would come back again and try the pizza.

Pam helped me build my first flight. I always appreciate staff input when I'm new to a brewery and enjoy chatting them up about beer and breweries. Much thanks to Pam for amusing me w conversation since she does not drink. I was the first person in @ open but an hour later Pam was hustling!! She had three tables of people all lunching. She handled everyone like a true champ. Helpful hint: do not try to yell over to Pam, or staff from the other end of the bar if they're standing @ the south end of the bar, I couldn't hear it running but Pam would come over to me because she couldn't hear over the ice machine. Sorry. Upon glancing around I saw a $12 t-shirt rack, I din't ask if that was regular price or sale? I APPRECIATED that the shirts were: a 4X, 3X, two 2X and four smalls. Most brewery sale shirts are S or XS. I also purchased a sticker. \Molly did mention that the brewing was done downstairs where they also have a meeting room. There is an upstairs, however it's not available for use yet, it has to get up to code. I did notice they have an elevator! Thanks to Pam and Molly for making it a lovely and informative inaugural visit! Looking forward to my next visit to try more beers, and add some twin city brewery stickers to the wall. Cheers!!

Thesis Brewing is a brewery I always make sure to take a look at whenever I'm at a beer festival…read more So when in Rochester I had to stop by. They are on a 5 barrel system from Portland Kettle Works which allows for both experimentation and some staple beers. Beertender choice in my flight was the Hugs & Kisses Fruited Wheat Ale - which I won't complain about. Thesis Pieces: A Blonde Ale brewed with Peanut Butter and has an addition of Lactose. Light bodied, which you don't see for a peanut beer very often. Doughy malt and a nutty flavor go hand in hand balanced by a sweetness from the lactose. A PB beer you can drink even in the hottest weather! Toasty-Weizen A German Hefeweizen conditioned on freshly toasted coconut. Similar to my other choices, light bodied packed with flavor. Traditional banana and clove Hefeweizen flavors are balanced by a medium toasted coconut flavor that doesn't take over the Hefe aromas / flavors.  Bangers Only: A Cold IPA dry hopped with Rakau, Vic Secret, and Wakatu hops. A lighter bodied IPA and brilliantly clear. Medium-high bitterness with a melon / lemon zest flavor on finish. Hugs and Kisses: A Fruited Wheat Ale that the beertender chose as my fourth beer in my flight. Notes of guava, tangerine, and blood orange. Medium body with just a hint of acidity, but mostly on the fruity side. Enjoyable on the patio! _____________________
