Natalie stopped me from checking the house out and did not let me go upstairs. She made me wait for a few minutes while she completed her conversation with the others and then asked a dude (probably her assistant) to accompany me upstairs. The dude gave me creepy vibes and was keeping an eye on me all the time as he walked me around. It seemed like Natalie thought I might be there to steal as I walked into the open house myself. How racially motivated and prejudiced of her! Note that this was NOT an expensive multi million dollar home; this was a townhouse and had very few inexpensive items lying around. It was extremely rude and condescending of her to not let me walk around the townhouse by myself while I noticed that other visitors were able to walk around.

Somehow they made a complex process extremely easy and efficient for us. They handled a lot of details while most of us kids were remote in socal. They were highly consultative. A Berkshire Hathaway realtor, Ofelia Hopson, was showing the home to her clients. When she saw us she bee-lined to us and started to berate us for being there. Made us feel like we were stealing something. Apparently appointments were doubled booked. Hey things happen. Technology is not perfect. Instead of taking the diplomatic approach and asking us to kindly wait outside while she finishes up ,since she was there first, she literally scoots us out like security. After later confronting her about her unprofessionalism, she claimed she was having a long day. Ms. Hobson if you are whining about having a long Sunday, you are definitely in the wrong business. Thank you Berkshire Hathaway. Now I have one less realtor to recommend.

He really knows what helps to attract buyers, what could be a waste of money and time as well as what upgrades are the most attractive to different types of buyers. Steve was really great at giving us thoughtful and on occasion very pointed advice, but always in the sincere interest in obtaining for us the best price for our home. But at the same time he always listened to our opinions as well as our concerns and when we disagreed on how aggressive to price the listing he did as we asked. When our first buyers backed out he kept us positive, and devised a strategy to keep our listing "fresh". It obviously worked since we received a much higher offer the second time around. Anyone who works with Steve is fortunate to have him on their side. In this crazy market Steve really knows how to navigate the complexities to his client's advantage.

The wife and I were in the market to upgrade our home after 10 years in our old house and Steve was our realtor. We drug him all over looking at countless houses and made an offer on one finally. Steve kept us grounded didn't just let us blindly throw crazy offer at it and we missed out. It was hard , the emotional roller coaster was taxing. He knew exactly how to help us through that and keep our vision clear. He took us to many more homes we found another that was even better than the last one. Let's get crazy we said, blow everyone out of the water. Steve kept us grounded again and we made an offer. We got a steal, it was everything we wanted with a huge yard and we didn't way over pay. That was not the end, we had to get to closing and let me tell you what. He held our hand through the entire process and even helped us move. Well you can bet we gave him our old house to sell. Steve showed up daily while I got it ready to help make sure I did what I had to so we could maximize profit. We had hoped to get over 800 for our old house and we got over 1 mil. I know not every story will be so incredibly good but your chances are so much better when you use a realtor who is good. I have referred him to friends since and he has made them fans. Not only do you get local knowledge from a guy who has life long roots in Livermore but you get a realtor with a heart. Steve actually cares about you and wants to see you get all your dreams. He isn't just about the money but the service, the experience and the end result for his client.     Prudential purchased Ruby Hill Realty from Signature Properties in 2005. We haven't closed any…read moretransactions with Prudential Ruby Hill, but had the opportunity to be the recipient of a listing presentation by one of their agents who we purchased a lot from when they were owned by Signature Properties. We never signed with them when we were told they were unwilling to entertain a "fixed price" listing agreement...in today's real estate market...on a $5,000,000 house. Additionally, they didn't offer any specialized marketing plans to support the $$$$$$$$ commission they were asking for. There are other real estate franchises that are more suited and well-equipped to properly market unique luxury property listings. On the other hand, they do have a couple of long-time Ruby Hill agents who seem to be well-connected to the local area...so there is a good possibility they might bring in a buyer for any property listed in Ruby Hill...even listed by another company!

While we were impressed with her constant communication (keeping up with us young tech savages via phone, email, and text at all hours of the morning and night), we know her skill set behind-the-scenes was in full throttle (taking care of our lender, working with the seller's realtor, handling the title company, helping schedule our inspector and appraiser, etc.).
