Normally this would have never been the kind of store I entered. I really do not like shopping and…read moredo the majority of it online, However, the reason I first entered this store was that of my mother and now has become several visits which I do not regret. My mom loves this store because of the variety of purses they sell. She buys these purses as gifts for her staff because I guess they all go super nuts over purses, especially Michael Kors. It's an advantage for her because it seems that TJ Maxx is always carrying Michael Kors in stock and this location is very convenient for us. Now the reason I love this store is because of the Homegoods section. I love this side of the store because of some of the unique furnishings I can find for a home that works as perfect gifts for my staff. I have bought a variety of different items ranging from vases to Eiffel towers, paintings to items for the kitchen that my staff loves. Some have even asked me if I can find another piece because they loved it so much. Sometimes I can but sometimes you run into a problem of it being pretty unique that you just might not see it the next day. I find the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful and the checkout process is usually rather quick.

I got some skate laces here that cost less than $4 a pair. They even have some glow in the dark ones that are all 54". If your skates go higher than the ankle they probably will be a little too short though. There are a lot of socks too (including knee-high ones) which would make for some great gifts. If you like Hot Topic (which is right across from this store), you will like Journeys. I will be back to get more things.

My daughter and I went here to pick out school shoes and the kids working here were very polite and attentive and went out of their way with smiling faces to both size my daughter and get us the numerous shoes we wanted to try on. We left happy but when we got home, we realized we were missing a left show to one of our pairs. I called up and the young lady I spoke to was apologetic but I understood, we are human and people make mistakes. I asked if the shoe was still there and was prepared to go back and pick it up but to my surprise, they offered to ship it to me overnight! Wow! Great customer service! They have kept me as a customer for years to come, righting a simple mistake that would have just been a slight inconvenience for me. I shopped here 2 weeks ago and was assisted by an employee named Crissy. I had some items I saw…read moreonline but couldn't find instore. She helped me find some and for the others that were not there she helped me order online with free shipping. She also informed me about the benefits of the credit card and went out of her way on a busy Saturday afternoon to help me get all the items I needed. Amazing customer service and just an overall pleasant person to deal with. It was so busy at the store but it's employees like her that make the store shopping experience great. Otherwise ill just shop online. Please have more people like her at your stores.
